Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) Services have significant potential in digital content creation. The distinctive abilities of AIGC, such as content generation based on minimal input, hold huge potential, especially when integrating with semantic communication (SemCom). In this paper, a novel comprehensive conceptual model for the integration of AIGC and SemCom is developed. Particularly, a content generation level is introduced on top of the semantic level that provides a clear outline of how AIGC and SemCom interact with each other to produce meaningful and effective content. Moreover, a novel framework that employs AIGC technology is proposed as an encoder and decoder for semantic information, considering the joint optimization of semantic extraction and evaluation metrics tailored to AIGC services. The framework can adapt to different types of content generated, the required quality and the semantic information utilized. By employing a Deep Q Network (DQN), a case study is presented that provides useful insights into the feasibility of the optimization problem and its convergence characteristics. © 2023, CC BY.

Sports science can have a significant and positive impact on coaches and athletes, as well as for the professional sports organization. According to this situation, more and more organizations are competing to implement sports science as the monitoring systems. Along with the development of technology, it becomes easier for humans to carry out their activities, including communication with each other. Advances in the field of communication technologies have led to the use of social networks to support all activity. With social media, all kinds of information that people want to search for can be found easily. Social networks have their uniqueness in their characteristics. Like LINE has free calling and video calling features, while Instagram has features like Instagram Story, where users can document their activities in the form of photos or recordings. By all the characteristics of social networks, it will support the activity of sports science. The methodology of this research focused on quantitative research based on the T-test approach. The result shows that social media involvement can significantly support collaboration in sports science, so it can increase people's motivation to interact with other participants in sport organizations. © 2020 IEEE.

Our research specifies the criteria for categorizing comments and supplements the limitations of the existing services that filter out only some of the direct malicious comments centered on specific vocabulary and phrases. In comparison to prior research detecting three sentiments as positive, negative, or neutral, we subdivided expressions into six categories. Our model applying classification downstream tasks to a pre-trained KcBERT model draws results reflecting the meaning and social context of the comments. An improved accuracy compared to previous studies shows a meaningful outcome. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

A Novel Approach for Optimum-Path Forest Classification Using Fuzzy Logic

In the past decades, fuzzy logic has played an essential role in many research areas. Alongside, graph-based pattern recognition has shown to be of great importance due to its flexibility in partitioning the feature space using the background from graph theory. Some years ago, a new framework for both supervised, semi-supervised, and unsupervised learning named Optimum-Path Forest (OPF) was proposed with competitive results in several applications, besides comprising a low computational burden. In this paper, we propose the Fuzzy Optimum-Path Forest, an improved version of the standard OPF classifier that learns the samples’ membership in an unsupervised fashion, which are further incorporated during supervised training. Such information is used to identify the most relevant training samples, thus improving the classification step. Experiments conducted over twelve public datasets highlight the robustness of the proposed approach, which behaves similarly to standard OPF in worst-case scenarios. © 2022, CC BY.

A growing number of machine learning (ML) projects in manufacturing require the collaboration of various experts. In addition to data scientists, stakeholders with production engineering knowledge have to specify and prioritize individual project tasks. Data engineers prepare input data, while machine learning operations (MLOps) engineers ensure that trained models are deployed and monitored within IT landscapes. Existing project management approaches, e.g., Scrum, have problems for ML projects, as they do not consider various expert roles or ML project stages. We propose a project management approach defining a Kanban workflow by readjusting stages of ML development lifecycles, e.g., CRISP DM. This makes it possible to map expert roles to stages of the Kanban workflow. An adapted Kanban board allows visualizing and reviewing the status of all project tasks. We validate our approach with specific use cases, showing that it facilitates ML project management in manufacturing.

With the sudden attack of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), some 300 million children in the world have been forced to study at home because of the mass closure of schools that began on March 18, 2020. This has caused many obstacles in the teaching and learning process. Every effort is made to minimize the COVID-19 pandemic while ensuring the teaching and learning process is not interrupted. If the school closures too long and the child is trapped inside the house this will have a negative impact on the physical and mental health of the children. This situation makes parents become worried and look for alternative education in addition to formal schooling for their children. Of the various types of education offers that exist homeschooling or commonly known as home-based learning provides a way out for the current situation. Now children are quarantined in their homes and they will return to school once this epidemic fades. But with this disaster, parents' views on homeschooling or home-based learning can be different from before. They may still be marked if home-based learning can be a long-term education. With the existence of COVID-19, most parents might finally realize that education without formal schooling is not a crisis but an opportunity to take their children to a better future. This research was conducted by utilizing a descriptive qualitative method and within the descriptive qualitative method, the concept of document analysis would be utilized the most. It was expected that the results of this research would explore what type of technology parents could prepare for their children to use to initiate home-based learning. © 2020 IEEE.

Classification is an important technique in data mining to create patterns and data modeling. Hepatitis is a disease that is dangerous to humans as this disease affects the human liver which is a vital organ. Early detection of hepatitis by diagnosing its occurrence on patients is needed to give them help, care, and treatment. Therefore, a classification technique is required to create patterns and models of data. To achieve accuracy in classifying hepatitis there would be requirements to separate relevant from irrelevant features. By only considering relevance features in classifying hepatitis, it is expected that the classification process will be faster, easier, and more accurate. In this research, the ANFIS algorithm and genetic algorithm are used in classifying the diagnosis of hepatitis based on a dataset from the UCI data mining repository. Results obtained showed that the genetic algorithm gave a slightly higher accuracy of 98.73% compared to 86.67% results obtained using ANFIS. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In algebraic geometry, superspecial curves are important research objects. While the number of superspecial genus-3 curves in characteristic p is known, the number of hyperelliptic ones among them has not been determined even for small p. In this paper, in order to compute the latter number, we give an algorithm for computing the Richelot isogeny graph of superspecial abelian threefolds by using theta functions. During homeostasis and after injury,adult muscle stem cells(MuSCs)activate to mediate muscle ***,much remains unclear regarding the heterogeneous capacity of MuSCs for self-renewal and ***,we show that Lin28a is expressed in embryonic limb bud muscle progenitors,and that a rare reserve subset of Lin28a+Pax7-skeletal MuSCs can respond to injury at adult stage by replenishing the Pax7+MuSC pool to drive muscle *** with adult Pax7+MuSCs,Lin28a+MuSCs displayed enhanced myogenic potency in vitro and in vivo upon *** epigenome of adult Lin28a+MuSCs showed resemblance to embryonic muscle *** addition,RNA-sequencing revealed that Lin28a+MuSCs co-expressed higher levels of certain embryonic limb bud transcription factors,telomerase components and the p53 inhibitor Mdm4,and lower levels of myogenic differentiation markers compared to adult Pax7+MuSCs,resulting in enhanced self-renewal and stress-response ***,conditional ablation and induction of Lin28a+MuSCs in adult mice revealed that these cells are necessary and sufficient for efficient muscle ***,our findings connect the embryonic factor Lin28a to adult stem cell self-renewal and juvenile regeneration.

The transform domain provides a useful tool in the field of confidential data hiding and protection. In order to protect and transmit patients’ information and competence, this study develops an amplitude quantization system in a transform domain by hiding patients’ information in an electrocardiogram (ECG). In this system, we first consider a non-linear model with a hiding state switch to enhance the quality of the hidden ECG signals. Next, we utilize particle swarm optimization (PSO) to solve the non-linear model so as to have a good signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), root mean square error (RMSE), and relative root mean square error (rRMSE). Accordingly, the distortion of the shape in each ECG signal is tiny, while the hidden information can fulfill the needs of physiological diagnostics. The extraction of hidden information is reversely similar to a hiding procedure without primary ECG signals. Preliminary outcomes confirm the effectiveness of our proposed method, especially an Amplitude Similarity of almost 1, an Interval RMSE of almost 0, and SNRs all above 30. © 2023 by the authors.
