In Internet, IP multicast has been used successfully to provide an efficient, best-effort delivery service for group communication applications. However, applications such as multiparty private conference, distribution of stock market information, pay per view and other subscriber services require secure multicast to protect integrity and confidentiality of the group traffic, and validate group member's authenticity. Providing secure multicast for group communication is problematic without a robust group key management. In this paper, we propose an anonymous group key management with ID-based Signature and secret sharing technologies to distribute a new group key securely to each participant of a group with only one rekey message whenever the group membership changes. The key management guarantees that a legal user, without revealing his/her real identity, can join a group after finishing the mutual authentication with the group initiator, and enforces the forward secrecy and backward secrecy.

Curved copper nanowires-based robust flexible transparent electrodes via all-solution approach

Curved Cu nanowire (CCN)-based high-performance flexible transparent conductive electrodes (FTCEs) were fabricated via a fully solution-processed approach, involving synthesis, coating, patterning, welding, and transfer. Each step involved an innovative technique for completing the all-solution processes. The high-quality and well-dispersed CCNs were synthesized using a multi-polyol method through the synergistic effect of specific polyol reduction. To precisely control the optoelectrical properties of the FTCEs, the CCNs were uniformly coated on a polyimide (PI) substrate via a simple meniscus-dragging deposition method by tuning several coating parameters. We also employed a polyurethane (PU)-stamped patterning method to effectively produce 20 μm patterns on CCN thin films. The CCN thin films exhibited high electrical performance, which is attributed to the deeply percolated CCN network formed via a solvent-dipped welding method. Finally, the CCN thin films on the PI substrate were partially embedded and transferred to the PU matrix to reduce their surface roughness. Through consecutive processes involving the proposed methods, a highly percolated CCN thin film on the PU matrix exhibited high optoelectrical performance (R s = 53.48 Ω/□ at T = 85.71%), excellent mechanical properties (R/R 0 < 1.10 after the 10th repetition of tape peeling or 1,000 bending cycles), and a low root-mean-square surface roughness (R rms = 14.36 nm).

In recent years, making computers understand the emotions of users is necessary because emotions are an important factor in human communication. Among many methods of recognizing emotions, EEG is widely used because it has high temporal resolution and it is impossible to disguise intentionally. However, it is necessary to acquire new user data and construct the personal Emotion recognition model since EEG varies widely among individuals. The conventional methods lack practicality because it builds a different model for every new user data. Our method builds a model in a single training using new user data. To reduce the number of new user data for training and to relieve the burden of EEG measurement, we adapt existing user data. We absorb the individual differences in EEG between a new user and existing users by domain adaptation using a small number of new user data and construct a model by deep neural networks. From the experiments, we confirmed that the proposed method performs as well as the conventional methods, even though it is built with single training using new user data. © 2022 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

Traditional puppet performances already have qualities of improvisation. In front of a large audience, the actors rely on the story outline and add their own creative improvisation to complete a perfect performance. Population growth and development of city activities take some lands to carry them. As a result, land use competition happens among persons, society or sector. Land necessity for settlement, industry, or sector has taken over farm land, therefore farm land has been converted intensively and massively. Chronologically, population growth will cause land necessity increase. Unproductive land, especially farm land will be converted. Furthermore, farm land conversion will cause carrying capacity change. Carrying capacity has certain bio capacity. With the population growth, it will increase resource consumption;on the other side, farm land conversion will decrease carrying capacity. The objective of the study is to know about the influence of population growth towards carrying capacity (bio capacity) in Semarang city. Land consumption per capita is indeed influenced by city population, the higher the population is, the lower the land consumption per capita. With the population growth, it will influence carrying capacity. Carrying capacity here is the ratio of area to population. Analytical descriptive method is applied in the study with all sub-districts in Semarang city as the analysis unit. Population here is sub-district area and population per sub-district in Semarang city. Population growth data period is from 2000 until 2015. Main variables of the study are area per sub-district, population, population growth, carrying capacity. Result of the study shows significant influence of carrying capacity decrease, especially some outskirts in Semarang city. This condition happens because the outskirts in Semarang city tend to have dense population growth. Range of carrying capacity in Semarang city is from 0,007 to 0,117 of 0 to 1. Almost all sub-districts in Semarang city show miserable condition, except Mijen and Tugu. The conclusion of the study is that population will decrease carrying capacity. The high cost of gallium has driven interest in aluminum-doped zinc oxide (AZO) as a cost-effective alternative to gallium-doped zinc oxide (GZO). While prior studies have primarily focused on sputtering methods to compare AZO and GZO, research on non-sputtering techniques remains limited. Our previous works demonstrated favorable optoelectronic properties in GZO films deposited via atmospheric pressure plasma jet (APPJ); however, APPJ-deposited AZO has yet to be explored. In this study, we compare AZO and GZO thin films fabricated by APPJ under ambient conditions. We find that the deposition rate of AZO is approximately twice that of GZO under the same processing parameters, due to differences in droplet size from the ultrasonic generator. By adjusting precursor delivery and working distance (the nozzle-to-substrate gap), we can tune film thickness, morphology, and optoelectronic properties, showcasing APPJ’s versatility over sputtering. Despite similar precursor concentrations and film thickness, AZO films exhibit lower carrier concentration (∼1 ×10 20 cm –3 ) and mobility (∼7.5 cm 2 /Vs) than GZO (∼8 ×10 20 cm –3 and ∼15 cm²/Vs), attributed to reduced aluminum incorporation (∼0.4 at% vs. ∼2.2 at% in GZO). Reducing the working distance from 2 mm to 1.5 mm improves both films’ structural integrity and optoelectronic performance (figure of merit increases by 140 % for GZO and 100 % for AZO). However, AZO remains inferior to GZO, highlighting the need for further optimization.

Influence of tin, range from 0-0.31wt%, on the recrystallization behavior and texture of grain oriented electrical has been investigated. Tin is susceptible to segregation at grain boundary and on surface that pinning down the grain boundary mobility. Annealed hot bands in 2.5mm are cold rolled to 0.35 mm in one-stage cold rolling. Cold-rolled sheets are decarburization annealing at 800°C for 5 minutes in wet H2-N2 atmosphere. During secondary recrystallization specimens are heated to 900~1200°C and soaked 12 hours with a heating rate 12 °C per hour after 700 °C. Both X-ray and EBSD are conducted to examine the grain orientation. It is found that pinning effect of tin is very strong for secondary recrystallization. The specimens containing less than 0.05wt% tin finish secondary recrystallization after SRT at 1000 °C. The secondary recrystallization grain growth became difficult as the tin content above 0.10wt%. According to EBSD results, after primary recrystallization, the intensity of (011) texture in the specimens with nitriding 30 seconds slightly increases with increasing tin content and reaches a maximum value at 0.05wt% tin. Then, it rapidly decreases with increasing tin and reaches a minimum at 0, 21wt% tin. Finally, it increases with increasing tin again. However, the intensity of (011) texture in the specimens without nitriding decreases with increasing tin content and reaches a minimum value at 0.21 wt% tin. Then, it increases with increasing tin. Both EBSD and XRD results show that the intensities of (111) textures in the specimens both with and without nitriding decreases with increasing tin content and reaches a value at 0.05 wt% tin. Then, it increases with increasing tin and reaches a peak at 0.1wt% tin. Finally, it decreases with increasing tin again. For the specimens without nitriding treatment, while the SRT is higher than 1100°C, best magnetic properties was occurred in the steel containing 0.05 wt% tin. The spatially differentiated environmental impacts and associated costs of technological improvement and circular agricultural practices in sugarcane production were assessed. Analysis of the cause-effect relationship between the key processes and substances each helped develop alternative scenarios for impact reduction. PM 2.5 emissions contributed to 92% of the total human health impacts from open burning of field residues. Freshwater ecotoxicity, mainly due to ametryn emissions from pesticide application, contributed to 47% of the total damage to the ecosystem. The environmental costs were 116% higher than the value of sugarcane production, signifying the critical importance of adopting alternative pathways that provide economic benefits from environmental cost reduction compared to the production value. Scenarios considering green cane harvesting and waste management approaches demonstrated high potential for total impact reduction of 99% and 97%, respectively, and economic gains of 202 and 225 billion THB, respectively (5.76 and 6.42 billion USD, respectively). The economic benefits of waste utilization were 137% higher than the value of sugarcane production, demonstrating the potential benefits of product substitution to help mitigate impacts. The core findings highlight the significance of the PM 2.5 impact-related external costs and underscore the benefits of adopting green cane harvesting in conjunction with on-field waste utilization to mitigate the impact of open burning and produce value-added products. Technological improvement and circular agricultural practices coupled with valuation of spatially differentiated impacts can provide useful and more accurate information to policymakers, to prioritize the implementation of mitigation strategies for enhancing the environmental sustainability of sugarcane production.

Stripes have long been a popular design element in clothing. It is a fact that striped clothing has great impact on customer's preference in fashion design field. The retailer stores usually sell striped clothing because the needs from consumers. Some well-known brands such as: MUJI, UNIQLO, NET, MOSCHINO, and Tommy Hilfiger, consistently supplying line clothing in the 2013 Spring Collections. However, we found out that the aesthetic feeling are actually depending on personals favorite and connected to the theory of Zebra Effect. In this research, we are investigating the influence of Helmholtz Illusion in dress patterns and fashion cognition between both consumers and subjects. Visual illusions have been widely applied in many areas of design. Some studies showed that human body is best revealed by horizontal, not vertical lines, and that the depth and curvature of the body are crucial for conveying its shape. After the reasons of different dimension present the effect of illusion, they identify that the depth and curvature of the body are crucial for conveying the shape. Nevertheless, this study exist few tools or methods to support reasoning about the influence of line fashion through interact experience. It is an experimental procedure for subjects to observe the four female shapes in two different line shirts, in order to undertake people's real considerations between their notion of stereotype and perceptions. Normally, we think that vertical lines would make people look taller, so wearing vertical stripes should cause the figure to look slimmer than when wearing horizontal stripes. On the other hand, horizontal lines usually give the feeling of sideward extension, resulting in the visual effect of a wider and heavier appearance. Under the same condition, the four differently shaped females in this study, tall, short, heavy, and thin, were asked to try on both vertical and horizontal striped clothing to compare the visual effects, based on certain formula and

Laiji Village, located in Ali Mountain, Taiwan, has been committed to adopting its cultural industries as ways of economic transformation in recent years. Experience economy is one of the ways to improve the livelihood of the clansman and increase employment opportunities so that young people are willing to return to their hometown. This author has cooperated with Laiji Village for years and led students to conduct workshops of cooperative designs in Laiji. This study explored the Workshop of Experience Designs carried out in 2016. Like the studies in the past years, this author described the local knowledge based on the opinions of locals in a faithful manner, assisted in designing 11 types of promising experiences, and reached the following conclusions: (1) The local knowledge enriches the connotation of experience design. The designs of the Experience Workshop facilitate the conversion and application of the local knowledge. (2) The Experience Workshop are conducive to promote cultural preservation: The experience design, based on the local culture, natural resources, and traditional knowledge familiar to the clansman, has its own characteristics while promoting the preservation of traditional culture and enhancing the self-identity of the values of the Tribe. (3) Creativity is generated in interaction: Cooperative experience designs are conducted and adjusted during the interaction between the teachers & students, and the clansman to form creative experiences. © 2017 IEEE.
