Coupled with anionic and cationic redox chemistry,Li-rich/excess cathode materials are prospective high-energy-density candidates for the next-generation Li-ion ***,irreversible lattice oxygen loss would exacerbate irreversible transition metal migration,resulting in a drastic voltage decay and capacity ***,a metastable layered Li-excess cathode material,T2-type Li_(0.72)[Li_(0.12)Ni_(0.36)Mn_(0.52)]O_(2),was developed,in which both oxygen stacking arrangement and Li coordination environment fundamentally differ from that in conventional O3-type layered *** means of the reversible Li migration processes and structural evolutions,not only can voltage decay be effectively restrained,but also excellent capacity retention can be achieved upon long-term ***,irreversible/reversible anionic/cationic redox activities have been well assigned and quantified by various in/ex-situ spectroscopic techniques,further clarifying the charge compensation mechanism associated with(de)*** findings of the novel T2 structure with the enhanced anionic redox stability will provide a new scope for the development of high-energy-density Li-rich cathode materials.

Opportunistic Wiretapping/Jamming: A New Attack Model in Millimeter-Wave Wireless Networks

While the millimeter-wave (mmWave) communication is robust against the conventional wiretapping attack due to its short transmission range and directivity, this paper proposes a new opportunistic wiretapping and jamming (OWJ) attack model in mmWave wireless networks. With OWJ, an eavesdropper can opportunistically conduct wiretapping or jamming to initiate a more hazardous attack based on the instantaneous costs of wiretapping and jamming. We also provide three realizations of the OWJ attack, which are mainly determined by the cost models relevant to distance, path loss and received power, respectively. To understand the impact of the new attack on mmWave network security, we first develop novel approximation techniques to characterize the irregular distributions of wiretappers, jammers and interferers under three OWJ realizations. With the help of the results of node distributions, we then derive analytical expressions for the secrecy transmission capacity to depict the network security performance under OWJ. Finally, we provide extensive numerical results to illustrate the effect of OWJ and to demonstrate that the new attack can more significantly degrade the network security performance than the pure wiretapping or jamming attack. © 2022, CC BY.

The coverage performance for Digital Television/ Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcasting-Advance system and 3GPP “Further evolved Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service”, long-term evolution-based broadcasting system defined by release 16 (R16) with different working parameters has been evaluated through the field trial in Shenzhen with a focus on high-speed mobility car with reasonably high spectrum efficiency. The trial uses the same transmitter facility of same the RF hardware, at the same frequency and with the same power. Results show that terrain is major deterministic factor for coverage performance for each system and well-designed longer time-interleaver for R16 is indispensable to users' satisfaction under this application scenario.

Learning activities are an indicator of the learner's desire to learn during the learning process. The pattern of learner action is related to learning activities. In this case, in extracting the learning process, it is necessary to collect a lot of data through analysis of the learning process. The purpose of this study is to recommend and report the performance of an activity tracking system equipped with visual artifacts as an educational data mining approach to analyze action patterns when learners complete the arrangement of program code lines in each programming problem. In this study, data were taken from activity recordings when learners used interactive learning media for a basic programming subject called TOLSYASUPI-EduMed which had problem-solving learning models embedded in their interactions. Learning Analytics is used as a method of this research and data relationships from learner actions during the learning process using the “if-then” rule. Log data is used for recording and detecting activities carried out by learners. We confirm that the results of the study are based on the findings of the data relationship that if the lines of program code are too long (more than five lines) then almost all learners experience a bottleneck condition. The completion time of each question and the number of iterations in completing the program code lines for each question have also been recorded and have a pattern of connection between the data. The information that has been obtained is then forwarded to teachers or stakeholders as key information to make appropriate feedback to learners based on the results as a means of analyzing and evaluating the programming learning process.

Magnetic nulls referred to a region with vanishing magnetic fields play an essential role in energy conversion and particle acceleration during magnetic reconnections. Moreover, they are also useful tools to characterize the complex magnetic topologies and are essential in three-dimensional (3D) magnetic reconnection. In this paper, we apply the linear interpolation methods to derive the null positions of the dayside reconnection Electron Diffusion Region (EDR) on 19 September 2015 using Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) mission spacecraft. The number of the signs of the real part of eigenvalues determines the magnetic field topology nearby this null. The change of the topology can be related to the occurrence of bifurcation or magnetic reconnection. Here, we report the first in situ measurement that the field topology of magnetic nulls changes from B type to A type at around 07:43:30.4 associated with the reported EDR event.

Complex counterpart of variance in quantum measurements for pre- and postselected systems

The variance of an observable in a preselected quantum system, which is always real and non-negative, appears as an increase in the probe wave packet width in indirect measurements. Extending this framework to pre- and postselected systems, we formulate a complex-valued counterpart of the variance called “weak variance.” In our formulation, the real and imaginary parts of the weak variance appear as changes in the probe wave packet width in the vertical-horizontal and diagonal-antidiagonal directions, respectively, on the quadrature phase plane. Using an optical system, we experimentally demonstrate these changes in the probe wave packet width caused by the real negative and purely imaginary weak variances. Furthermore, we show that the weak variance can be expressed as the variance of the weak-valued probability distribution in pre- and postselected systems. These operational and statistical interpretations support the rationality of formulating the weak variance as a complex counterpart of the variance in pre- and postselected systems.

Explosions in coal mines during the work time is a one of major cause of casualties in the coal mines. Thus possess a life threaten situation for coal miners. In this paper we propose a system in which sensors sense concentration of gases (Methane and carbon monoxide) in the air, measures the mine temperature and humidity and heartbeat of miner. In response it generate the alerts, and identifies the location of miners. We propose ZigBee based wireless sensor network (WSN) for communication between sensors and coal mine safety monitoring system. The iBeacons are proposed for identification of miners. A service oriented architecture (SOA) has used to develop the system. The main purpose of this research paper is to ensure miners safety, by predicting the methane has with artificial neural network (ANN). The application of ANN seems more viable than others, the calculated values shows that its prove a negligible relative error that is around 0.05 than the actual measurements. The proposed work is then compared with the state-of-the-art methods that overcomes the limitations form the existing systems. © 2020 IEEE.

Along with the electrification, there are many electrical equipment are used in our daily life. Using those equipment we need cables to charge and connect them. But, sometimes cables will become problems, like when we clean the room the cables will be annoying. We think if we can resolve this problem with robot, it will save lots of time for people. But, unfortunately, there is no system which can manipulate cables with robot. The key point is cable can deform it's shape. Because of this, we can't recognize and record cables position correctly from picture. And if we want to manipulate cables with robot, the 3D information of cables is far batter than 2D information. Therefore, in this paper, we made a system which can build a 3D voxels model base on 2D image as a beforehand for use robot to manipulate cables. In our system, we cut input image into a series of small pictures and make 3D model based on each pictures then we assemble those 3D model together. So we can get a complete 3D model(output of this system) which is made base on input image and can represent the 3D cables position. Our method can transfer 2D data to 3D data, this let us can get 3D information from image and we think this is useful in robot science.
