The 2011 flood in Thailand exposed significant vulnerabilities in industrial areas, highlighting the necessity for enhanced disaster risk management through Area-Business Continuity management (Area-BCM). This preliminary study focuses on identifying how stakeholders rely on information from each other to improve disaster preparedness and response. The research involves systematically identifying Area-BCM stakeholders and designing interview questions, which are evaluated by experts using the Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) to ensure relevance and clarity. All interview questions surpassed the IOC threshold of 0.5, confirming their effectiveness in capturing information interdependencies. Expert feedback led to refinements in the questions, underscoring the importance of tailored data collection. This initial plan provides a critical foundation for understanding information interdependence and highlights the importance of well-designed data collection methods. The findings have significant implications for developing more resilient disaster management strategies in industrial areas, emphasizing the need for precise and relevant stakeholder communication to enhance Area-BCM effectiveness.

This paper examines the reproducibility of massive information analytics under particular factors. The paper proposes the 'performing Scalable Inference' technique to cope with scalability troubles and to exploit current big statistics platforms for efficient computing and statistics garage of the statistics. In particular, the paper describes how to perform leak-free, parallelizable visible analytics over massive datasets using present extensive records analytics frameworks such as Apache Flink. This method presents an automated manner to execute analytics that preserves reproducibility and the ability to make adjustments without re-running the entire technique. The paper also demonstrates how these analytics may help several real-world use instances, explore affected person cohorts for studies, and develop stratified patient cohorts for hospital therapy. In the end, the paper observes how the proposed method may be exercised within the real world. Actively scalable inference for massive information analytics is pivotal in optimizing decision-making and allocation of assets. Typically, such inferences are made based on information accumulated from numerous sources, databases, unstructured data, and different digital sources. So one can ensure scalability, a complete cloud-primarily based platform has to be hired. This solution will permit the ***, deploying the essential records series and evaluation algorithms are prime here. It could permit the platform to recognize the styles inside the statistics and discover any ability correlations or traits. Additionally, predictive analytics and system mastering strategies may be incorporated to provide insights into the results of the information. In traditional federated learning, a single global model cannot perform equally well for all clients. Therefore, the need to achieve the client-level fairness in federated system has been emphasized, which can be realized by modifying the static aggregation scheme for updating the global model to an adaptive one, in response to the local signals of the participating clients. Our work reveals that existing fairness-aware aggregation strategies can be unified into an online convex optimization framework, in other words, a central server's sequential decision making process. To enhance the decision making capability, we propose simple and intuitive improvements for suboptimal designs within existing methods, presenting AAggFF. Considering practical requirements, we further subdivide our method tailored for the cross-device and the cross-silo settings, respectively. Theoretical analyses guarantee sublinear regret upper bounds for both settings: O(√T log K) for the cross-device setting, and O(K log T) for the cross-silo setting, with K clients and T federation rounds. Extensive experiments demonstrate that the federated system equipped with AAggFF achieves better degree of client-level fairness than existing methods in both practical settings. In Indonesia, motorcycle is the most popular form of transportation because of their convenience and economical. Motorcycles dominate more than 85% of vehicles on the road. Ironically, the number of motorcycle-related accidents rise and now account for about 73% of all traffic accidents. Aim of this research is to understand motorcyclist behavior, other road user, and related traffic conditions. The Naturalistic Driving study (NDS) method is used to gather data. A camera was mounted to participant’s motorcycle to capture their driving behaviors and traffic condition. The participants of this study were drawn from 6 cities across 3 major islands in Indonesia. There were 79 participants with a total journey distance approximately 1036 km and a journey duration nearly 40 hours. The video recordings were then observed by observers in each city to determine the safety critical events (SCE). There was no significant difference in the number of SCEs that occur in each city, but there was a significant difference when it comes to the causes of SCEs. This research found that the largest number of violations (30-80%) occur due to factors related to other road user, such as near crash with other road users when overtaking vehicles in front of them, other road users from the opposite direction driving in the wrong lane/side or lane used by the driver, or near crash with other road users who suddenly change lanes in front of them. In this research, it was also found that the number of SCEs that occurred was not affected by the distance and driving duration. This study supports previous research that the main cause of violations is human error. However, the occurrence of SCE is not only caused by the driver himself but through this research it is found that other road users are a critical factor. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Pharmaceutical manufacturing is distinct as it has a number of quality standards being met to make sure that the products are effective and safe. Alarms help to make sure that critical parameters stay on a specific range and quality attributes are met. In this study, quality HAZOP is used for alarm prioritization that helps a simulated pharmaceutical process maintain acceptable alarm rates that will allow operators respond better on process upsets. It was seen in the simulation that a decrease in average alarm rates and peak alarm rates upon employing this method. In this way, quality HAZOP can also be used to train operators to respond quickly and better, especially on novel processes being developed. © 2021 IEEE.

Pandemic situation does not only affect peoples' health behavior, but also their behavior related to their pets' health. This situation raises the importance of having a mobile apps for pets' health. Before promoting these apps, it is important to know the characteristics of those who will use the apps, as well as their willingness to use and pay. This research proposes that those who have pet (vs. does not have pet) are more likely to be promotion-focused and maximizers individuals. The results from this research could be a starter for future studies. Managerial implication for marketers is discussed as well. © 2022 ACM.

Welding is both as art and science and its common use is the jointing of points. Some of the welding procedures used for jointing metal pipes are Tungsten Inert Gas and Gas Metal Arc welding and in common practice plastic pipes are bonded with the use of butt-fusion welding procedure. Since 1970’s conjoint analysis was used as a way of finding out what the preference of consumers. The objective of this study is to determine the combination welding attributes that were most preferred using a conjoint analysis approach. With conjoint analysis, together with, the orthogonal design the preference for welding materials and procedures were analyzed. It showed that pipe material with 29.24% was the most preferred attribute and Non-destructive test as the least preferred with $\mathbf{2. 6 6 \%}$. The result of this study may be utilized in future related reviews and could be applicable in other related Mechanical systems requiring welding works.

Emerging Industry 4.0 creates a critical challenge when an organisation decides to reform and adapt to developing technologies. The decision maker must be aware of the elements prior to implementing Industry 4.0 strategies and technologies. Following the research approach, this article presents the decision making framework for SMEs in Industry 4.0 implementation decisions. This research begins with Industry 4.0 aspects and readiness maturity levels that identify SME capability. This model is a hybrid multi-criteria method: the fuzzy DEMATEL was used to evaluate the direction of the aspect, and then the fuzzy best-worst method analysed the weighting of aspects. After that, the prioritisation of strategies was ranked. The result concluded the priority of SMEs to select the suitable strategy toward Industry 4.0. Moreover, human skills are the core organisational aspects that embrace adaptation. Online games display a unique market with a promising economy; hence many developer companies are exploring and have been utilizing this technology because of good possibility in recent years. This study aimed to determine the composition of online game attribute that is most preferred by customers using a Conjoint Analysis Approach. This study utilized different attributes such as graphics, player-to-player interaction, character creation freedom, game accessibility, monetization, storyline, and business model. An orthogonal design of conjoint analysis was utilized to assess customer preference for online games. A survey was proposed to a community of online game players and segmented among their gender, age, and income. The results showed that business model was the most considered attribute while accessibility and monetization were the least preferred. The findings of this study could be beneficial to both technology corporations developing products that fit their target customers and customers making most of their investment.

Internet has evolved from a basic communication medium into wide networks of communication networks where it has become integrated in people's daily lives. Not only that, because of the recent pandemic, the demand for internet has been rapidly increasing. With the integration of internet to our day to day interactions, choosing a provider that is inclined with consumers preference and usage should be the basis. This study aims to determine the Filipino consumer preference on choosing Fixed line internet service providers using Conjoint analysis. The method uses survey questionnaires that is disseminated across the regions of the Philippines. The data gathered from the survey are analyzed using SPSS. The result shows that out of all the attributes considered internet speed is the top priority of the consumers followed by pricing and brand. Overall, this study is beneficial in developing market strategies for companies in the telecommunications industry.
