In this paper, we are concerned with the existence of mild solution and controllab.lity for a class of nonlinear fractional control systems with damping in Hilbert *** first step is to give the representation of mild solution for this control system by utilizing the general method of Laplace transform and the theory of(α, γ)-regularized families of operators. Next, we study the solvability and controllab.lity of nonlinear fractional control systems with damping under some suitable sufficient conditions. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate the theory.

There are a wide range of genes in single-cell data, but some are not beneficial to classification. In order to eliminate these redundant genes and select beneficial genes, this study first utilises the information gain (IG) to select some genes coarsely, then uses the modified fruit fly optimisation algorithm (FOA) to choose the relevant genes refinedly from the subsets after performing IG. The proposed algorithm makes full use of respective advantages of the IG and FOA, and is abbreviated as IGFOA. The proposed algorithm is implemented on multiple scRNA-seq datasets with various numbers of cells and genes, and the obtained results validate that the IGFOA can select effectively some superior genes and acquire good classification performance. Millimeter-wave MIMO will use hybrid precoding to improve the spectral efficiency. In this paper, we propose a spectral efficient hybrid precoding algorithm. In order to maximize the projection of hybrid precoding matrix on the optimal precoding matrix, we design the analog precoding matrix by selecting an optimal combination from the candidate matrix. Then, we regard the channel matrix and the obtained analog precoding matrix as an equivalent channel matrix, and use regularized zero-forcing to acquire the digital precoding matrix. Finally, we present simulation results of the proposed hybrid precoding algorithm and show that the algorithm approaches the optimal precoding. © 2020 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

This treatise proposes a new algorithm of encrypting images by combining Sine map with generalized Arnold transformation. The algorithm adds a shift transformation link to the common permutation-diffusion structure. Firstly, the plain-image is permutated in pixel positions by using the generalized Arnold transformation. Secondly, the permutated image is diffused by using the Sine map. Then, the diffused image is performed through the shifting process, which can avoid multiple encryption and shorten the encryption time. The results of analysis and experimental tests for the proposed algorithm have been given in detail, which showed that our new algorithm is highly secure. In conclusion, it has great application potential in Internet-based image secure communication. © Copyright owned by the author(s).

In this paper, we study a generalized quasi-variational inequality (GQVI for short) with twomultivalued operators and two bifunctions in a Banach space setting. A coupling of the Tychonov fixedpoint principle and the Katutani-Ky Fan theorem for multivalued maps is employed to prove a new existencetheorem for the GQVI. We also study a nonlinear optimal control problem driven by the GQVI and givesufficient conditions ensuring the existence of an optimal control. Finally, we illustrate the applicability of thetheoretical results in the study of a complicated Oseen problem for non-Newtonian fluids with a nonmonotone andmultivalued slip boundary condition (i.e., a generalized friction constitutive law), a generalized leak boundarycondition, a unilateral contact condition of Signorini’s type and an implicit obstacle effect, in which themultivalued slip boundary condition is described by the generalized Clarke subgradient, and the leak boundarycondition is formulated by the convex subdifferential operator for a convex superpotential.

As artificial bee colony algorithm is sensitive to the initial solutions, and is easy to fall into local optimum and premature convergence, this study presents a novel artificial bee colony algorithm based on uniform design to acquire the better initial solutions. It introduces an initialization method with uniform design to replace random initialization, and selects the better ones of those initial bees generated by the initialization method as the initial bee colony. This study also introduces a crossover operator based on uniform design, which can search evenly the solutions in the small vector space formed by two parents. This can increase searching efficiency and accuracy. The best two of the offsprings generated by the crossover operator based on uniform design are taken as new offsprings, and they are compared with their parents to determine whether to update their patents or not. The crossover operator can ensure that the proposed algorithm searches uniformly the solution space. Experimental results performed on several frequently used test functions demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has more outstanding performance and better global searching ability than standard artificial bee colony algorithm. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2020.

An enhancing bandwidth tri-polarization reconfigurable antenna based on double C-shaped radiators is proposed. The antenna consists of a modified ground plane, double C-shaped radiators, and a feedline with a simple parasitic stub. The modified ground plane and the parasitic stub can improve the impedance matching, meanwhile, adjust the axial ratio performance. Two PIN diodes are embedded between the C-shaped radiator and the feedline. Three polarization reconfigurable modes can be achieved caused by switching two PIN diodes state, linear polarization (LP), left-hand circular polarization (LHCP), and right-hand circular polarization (RHCP). As the simulated results show, the -10-dB impedance bandwidth reaches 126.6% (1.76-7.83 GHz) in LP mode and 78.4% (2.96-6.78 GHz) in CP modes. And the proposed antenna has a 3-dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of 84% (2.6-6.4 GHz) in two CP modes. Therefore, the proposed antenna can meet the requirement of the modern wireless and satellite communication system. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper demonstrates the design and fabrication of three-dimensional(3 D) hexagonally ordered microbowl arrays(MBAs) decorated with Cu In S2 nanosheets for enhanced photoelectrochemical(PEC) performance. The 3 D MBAs are fabricated by a micro-fabrication technique. The ultrathin CuInS2 nanosheets are grown on the 3 D electrodes by solvothermal transformation of Cu film. The photocurrent density of 3 D photocathode(CuInS2@MBAs) is about two times higher than that of the planar counterpart(CuInS2@Planar). The improved PEC performance can be ascribed to the elevated light trapping ability and the increased surface area for loading photocatalysts. In addition, CdS quantum dots as cocatalysts are modified onto the Cu In S2 nanosheets to further enhance the PEC activity because the formed p-n heterojunction can accelerate the separation of photogenerated carriers. As a result, the 3 D photocathode of CuInS2/CdS@MBAs shows an optimal incident photon to current efficiency of 10% at the wavelength of400 nm. It is believed that this work can be generalized to design other hierarchical 3 D photoelectrodes for improved solar water splitting.

Generalized Anticipation Effect Models for Traffic Flow

Taking into account the startup behaviour of following vehicles in the waiting area of urban traffic signal, we propose an extended Nagel-Schreckenberg model for single-lane traffic flow, in which the dynamic behavior of each vehicle depends on not only its own headway but also the headway of the immediately preceding one. The numerical simulation of the present model reproduces some complicated nonlinear phenomena observed in real traffic such as free flow, ghostly blockage, synchronized flow and so on. For specific parameter combinations the flow-density relation of this model shows two meta-stable branches near the transition density from free flow to wide moving traffic jam. Finally, the analytical results of the model under some specific parameters are given by using the mean field theory.

Synchronization Dynamics in the Sakaguchi-Kuramoto Oscillator Network with Frequency Mismatch Rules

The Sakaguchi-Kuramoto model is a modification of the well-known Kuramoto model, in which a frustration factor is added to the coupling term of each phase oscillator. The added frustration factor destroys the gradient structure, but the modified model is more widely used in practice. In this paper, we study how frustration factors influence the synchronization transition of coupled oscillators in the Sakaguchi-Kuramoto model with frequency mismatch rules. The results show that in the system of coupled oscillators, the frustration factor manifests a disorder field, which restrains the explosive synchronization and weakens the synchronization ability of the whole network. In addition, it is found that the frequency synchronization can not be detected by the common phase order parameter, so a new index is introduced to characterize the degree of frequency synchronization. As an example, at the end of the paper, we theoretically analyze the synchronization dynamics of two-oscillator system, and indirectly verify the correctness of simulations for the multi-body system.
