Artificial intelligence (AI) has been a key research area since the 1950s, initially focused on using logic and reasoning to create systems that understand language, control robots, and offer expert advice. With the rise of big data and deep learning, AI has advanced in applications like recommendation systems, image recognition, and machine translation, primarily through optimizing loss functions in deep neural networks to improve accuracy and reduce training *** descent is the core optimization method but faces challenges like slow convergence and local minima. To overcome these, algorithms like Momentum, AdaGrad, RMSProp, Adadelta, Adam, and Nadam have been developed, introducing momentum and adaptive learning rates to accelerate convergence. This paper presents a new optimization algorithm that combines the strengths of Adam and AdaGrad, offering better adaptability to different learning rates.

2D human posture detection, a challenging task in computer vision, aims to identify human body key points and is widely used. The HRNet model performs well in human key point detection. To enhance its effect in human posture detection and address suboptimal prediction accuracy in interactive occlusion, this paper combines HRNet and Transformer. The Transformer's attention mechanism handles complex image dependencies, and HRNet obtains image features. By embedding the Transformer's attention mechanism module into HRNet's backbone network and integrating a self-designed double-branch structure and convolutional attention module an improved HRNet model is constructed. The DConvAttention module processes extracted features and the convolutional attention mechanism balances image frequencies, enhancing processing and discrimination of complex backgrounds and occlusions and improving detection performance. In tests of complex and occluded images, the improved HRNet Local model has a 4.2M parameter increase, 0.5G FLOPs increase, and 1% mAP increase compared to HRNet, with the same recall rate. The improved HRNet Global model has 11M more parameters, 1.1G more FLOPS a similar or slightly higher recall rate, and a 2% higher mAP value.

Today, the world economy is in the stage of rapid development, followed by the rising quantity, the decreasing moisture content, and the increasing heat value of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). Since waste incineration has the advantages of excellent volume reduction effect, high resource utilization efficiency, and less secondary pollution to the environment, waste incineration disposal technology has received extensive attention worldwide. With the continuous increase of the urban population, the amount of sewage sludge is growing year by year. The process of the sludge incineration system is highly complicated, and the cost of construction and operation is high. The waste incinerator can process not only MSW but also sewage sludge. Therefore, the co-incineration of sewage sludge with MSW in the existing waste incinerator is a safe and effective way to dispose of sewage sludge. In this paper, the simulation results of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) are analyzed for medium-scale and large-scale waste incinerators, characterized by high moisture content, high ash content, low heat value of sewage sludge, and incomplete combustion and high pollutant emissions in waste incinerators. With FLIC-Fluent coupled simulation method, the critical information such as temperature field, velocity field, concentration field of principal components, and the pollutant emissions can be predicted. Based on the CFD simulation results, the performance and structure of waste incinerators can be optimized, and the new products can be designed and developed. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. Although underwater robots can replace humans to explore the ocean which is rich in resources but fraught with unknown risks, there are phenomena such as monotonous colors, complex backgrounds and uneven illumination in the underwater environment, which makes it difficult for underwater robots relying on the optical vision system to obtain clear images and is not conducive to subsequent recognition and grasping tasks. In this paper, relevant preparatory work was carried out for underwater image processing applicable to underwater robots, and the underwater imaging model as well as other underwater image processing models were analyzed. Subsequently, a method combining the underwater physical model and the dark channel image was proposed to improve LYT-Net, enabling it to be applicable to mobile embedded devices such as underwater robots. After training and testing on the real datasets LSUI and UIEB, our model achieved good results on important indicators such as PSNR and SSIM. Meanwhile, it met the theoretical requirements of mobile devices in terms of FLOPs, Params and single-frame processing time, which verified its robustness and real-time processing ability in various underwater environments.

image restoration is a classic foundational visual task, aimed at recovering damaged images, such as those affected by compression, blurring, or noise, to high-definition clarity. Although current image enhancement techniques largely rely on convolutional neural networks, the efficient capabilities of Transformers demonstrated in complex visual tasks have not yet been extensively applied in the field of image restoration. This paper presents an optimized image restoration strategy based on the SwinlR model, which is applied to the task of underwater image restoration. In the shallow feature extraction phase, deep separable convolution technology is employed; while in the deep feature extraction phase, a Spatial Gated Feedforward Network (SGFN) is utilized. The experimental data suggests that the novel approach surpasses conventional techniques in effectiveness and has effectively minimized both the model's parameter quantity and computational demands.

This research is driven by the growing need for efficient, scalable object detection in smart home applications with real-time performance and resource constraints. In this study, we utilize the YOLOv8 deep learning model for household item detection, focusing on its performance in real-time scenarios. We compare different versions of YOLOv8—specifically, YOLOv8n, YOLOv8s, and YOLOv8m—using a preprocessed custom dataset. The results indicate that YOLOv8n stands out due to its lower parameter count and faster inference speed, making it ideal for real-time applications, even though it has slightly lower precision and recall. In contrast, while YOLOv8s and YOLOv8m show improvements in certain metrics, their higher computational demands limit their effectiveness in resource-constrained settings. Overall, YOLOv8n effectively balances speed and accuracy, offering a viable solution for household item detection.

Nuclei segmentation is a fundamental and critical step in digital pathological image analysis. Fully supervised nuclei segmentation requires a lot of pixel-by-pixel manual annotation by pathologists, which is very time-consuming and laborious. To minimize the labeling burden of pathologists, this paper uses only point annotations of nuclei data for weakly supervised learning. Specifically, a two-stage model named EOFD-Net with feature denoising and edge optimization is proposed. In the first stage, three weak labels (K-means cluster labels, Voronoi labels, and superpixel labels) with complementary information are used to train the encoder-decoder network to achieve coarse segmentation of nuclei. A feature denoising module(FDM) is designed in the encoder part, which can effectively reduce noise interference. In the second stage, we designed an edge optimization strategy using the prior knowledge of the trained model in the first stage. Confident learning is employed to denoise pseudo-label and rectify the mislabel. These optimized labels are input into the second stage to obtain the final segmentation results. The performance of our method outperforms current state-of-the-art methods on two publicly nuclei segmentation datasets, MoNuSeg and TNBC.

Liver tumors are the most common and fatal ones globally, bringing great harm to human life. In order to ascertain the precise location, size, and volume of tumors, the conventional method of manual segmentation necessitates that physicians delineate the tumor boundaries within the patients’ abdominal CT scans, a process that demands considerable expenditure of time and effort on the part of the medical staff. A method harnessing the U-Net neural network, predicated on deep learning, has been introduced in this study to augment the accuracy and efficiency of liver tumor segmentation in imaging. The U-Net network has been enhanced with the incorporation of Adam optimization and callback mechanisms to bolster the training efficacy and preserve the most effective model. Furthermore, the implementation of the binary crossentropy loss function has been pivotal for optimizing the neural network's convergence and predictive accuracy, which in turn has led to enhanced segmentation results. The experimental findings suggest that the proposed method is capable of automating the segmentation of liver tumor images, including the precise delineation of tumors and those with indistinct margins, achieving a segmentation accuracy of 99.64%.

As the demand for volunteer services grows, enhancing the efficiency and management of these services has become a key issue. This paper explores methods of integrating intelligent scheduling management functions with volunteer service systems to optimize volunteer time management and task allocation. By analyzing existing volunteer service systems, we propose a novel system framework that integrates intelligent scheduling management. This framework updates volunteer schedules in real- time, automatically matches tasks with volunteers' time windows, and optimizes task distribution using smart algorithms. Experimental results show that volunteer service systems with integrated intelligent scheduling management significantly improve task allocation accuracy and volunteer satisfaction. This research provides new ideas and practical basis for the intelligent development of volunteer services.

With the rise of the Internet of Things (loT) and digital homes, smart home technology has also advanced. Smart homes can proactively sense people's needs, providing users with a more comfortable and secure living environment, while also saving energy and enhancing safety, thereby greatly improving the quality of life. Thanks to loT technology, smart home devices can connect to the home network, enabling data sharing and centralized control. This project applies ZigBee and MQTT protocols to the field of smart homes, achieving intelligent control and remote control of devices such as lighting, appliances, and security. The ZigBee protocol is used for networking, connecting terminal nodes in the facility layer with the coordinator node, while the MQTT protocol is used to connect the coordinator node to the internet. This project has realized remote control, intelligent control, and smart security of the home system, providing users with a more convenient and comfortable home experience.
