The breakthrough in silicon optical devices field has made the photonic network on chip a hot topic. However, the micro-ring resonators that make up the optical router are sensitive to process variation and temperature variation, and are prone to be faulty. How to detect the micro-ring resonator fault is the key to improve the reliability of the photonic network on chip, and the design of the MRR fault simulator is the cornerstone of MRR fault detection. By establishing the MRR fault model and analyzing the principle of MRR fault simulation, the FPR fault simulator is designed. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the fault simulator. © 2020 IEEE.

In recent years, the Semiconductor Final Testing Scheduling Problem (SFTSP), recognized as a unique multi-resource scheduling challenge, attracts increasingly attention of academia and industry in the semiconductor manufacturing process. In this paper, a novel estimation of distribution algorithm combined with Q-learning (QEDA) is proposed to solve the SFTSP. According to the characteristics of the used operation encoding, a new probability matrix update mechanism is proposed for enhancing the priority relationships among operations. Considering that the traditional EDA is not in favor of local exploitation compared with its global exploration, a reinforcement learning is designed to avoid falling into local optima. Furthermore, for the challenge of the resource allocation in SFTSP, four actions are introduced according to the variance of individual objective. Extensive numerical simulations and comparative experiments show that the proposed QEDA algorithm exhibits much better performance than the state-of-the-art algorithms in the literature for solving the SFTSP. © 2024, The Authors. Different rubber materials have different characteristics, and thus, the identification of rubber materials is critical for ensuring the quality of rubber products. To improve the efficiency and accuracy of rubber classification, a rapid and nondestructive testing method based on an improved honey badger algorithm and a support vector machine using terahertz spectroscopy is proposed in this paper. The terahertz spectra of eight vulcanized rubbers were obtained by using THz-TDS system. Principal component analysis was used for feature extraction of the spectral data. The Kennard-Stone (KS) method was applied to select samples for the calibration set, and the honey badger algorithm (HBA) was used to optimize the SVM parameters. To solve the problem that the HBA easily falls into a local optimum due to premature convergence, the Bernoulli chaotic map, cosine density factor and Cauchy mutation were introduced in this paper to improve the HBA. Compared with the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm and HBA algorithm, the improved honey badger algorithm (IHBA) can effectively avoid falling into a local optimum in the application of rubber classification, and it has a better search *** to the test results, the general accuracy of the IHBA-SVM model for rubber classification is 98.96%, which is greater than the 94.74% and 96.88% accuraciers of the PSO-SVM and HBA-SVM models, respectively. The results show that terahertz time-domain spectroscopy technology combined with IHBA-SVM is an effective, fast and nondestructive method for rubber classification. © 2023, The Authors. The significant difference in economic and nutritional value between new and old cereals has led to a plethora of grain mix-ups on the market, and it seriously damages the rights and interests of consumers. The study primarily focuses on millet, which has a higher economic and nutritional value among cereals, Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) combined with chemometrics is used to quantitatively detect millet mixtures with different gradient ratios. First of all, the spectral data in the 0.2-2.5 THz range was chosen for pre-processing. Standard normal variate transformation, Savitzky-Golay smoothing, multiplicative scatter correction (MSC), and normalizing techniques were employed to reduce noise and interference while enhancing valuable data. The sample set was then divided using the Spectral-Physical Value Coexistence Distance (SPXY) technique after principal component analysis (PCA) had chosen more representative characteristics. Finally, support vector regression (SVR) was utilized for quantitative analysis of millet mixtures with different gradient ratios. In order to further improve the prediction accuracy of SVR model, an improved Coati optimization algorithm (LASCCOA) was proposed. The quality and diversity of the initial population are improved by introducing chaotic mapping, tent mapping, and reverse learning mechanisms, followed by the introduction of adaptive weights and Wright flight mechanisms, which enhance the flexibility and convergence speed of the algorithm, and lastly, the introduction of the sine-cosine algorithm to improve the search range. The experimental results indicate a significant improvement in prediction accuracy over traditional and original algorithms, further enhancing model performance. This research provides technical support and a reference for rapid no n-destructive quantitative detection of cereals mixtures while opening up new possibilities for subsequent cereal quantitative detection. © 2023, The Authors. With the growth of complicate system or crystals, whereas, a few phenomena have occurred and been found, which could result in final crystals or patterns with errors. Among those phenomena, one has still not been processed in current published literatures, which is named symmetry tile may appear. This paper analyses the effect of symmetry tile on binary counter in DNA Self-Assembly. The exact relationship between symmetry tile and counting is set up considering the type of symmetry and the position of the symmetry tile. The analysis shows that the final patterns are partly or completely different from the originally desired patterns in the case of symmetry tile due to the changed counting behavior. Simulation results which are obtained by Xgrow demonstrate that the analysis is valid and correct.

Terahertz (THz) filters are the core devices for practical application in THz communication technology. Recently, design of multi-channel filters with high modulation rates remains to be a challenge. In this paper, a three channels switchable THz filter based on metal-graphene hybrid metasurface is proposed. The unit cell is consisted of "n"-shaped and "u"-shaped split-ring resonators (SRRs) with different sizes, and the graphene bar is embedded at the gap of two SRRs. The four bandpass modes with single transparency windows, double two transparency windows, and three transparency windows can be freely switched by applying voltage to the left/right electrodes of the filters. Its central frequencies of transparency windows are located at 0.80 THz with modulation depth up to 49%, 1.14 THz (constant transparency windows), and 1.58 THz with modulation depth up to 68%, respectively. In addition, an equivalent circuit model is proposed to demonstrate the control mechanism. This research result not only provides a new method for the design of reconfigurable multifunctional THz modulation devices, but also give theoretical model to promote the development of multi-channel filter technology in THz communication technology. © 2023, The Authors. This paper deals with the modeling of fault for analog circuits. A two-dimensional (2D) fault model is first proposed based on collaborative analysis of supply current and output voltage. This model is a family of circle loci on the complex plane, and it simplifies greatly the algorithms for test point selection and potential fault simulations, which are primary difficulties in fault diagnosis of analog circuits. Furthermore, in order to reduce the difficulty of fault location, an improved fault model in three-dimensional (3D) complex space is proposed, which achieves a far better fault detection ratio (FDR) against measurement error and parametric tolerance. To address the problem of fault masking in both 2D and 3D fault models, this paper proposes an effective design for testability (DFT) method. By adding redundant bypassing-components in the circuit under test (CUT), this method achieves excellent fault isolation ratio (FIR) in ambiguity group isolation. In this paper, a novel 3-bit transmission terahertz (THz) coder based on graphene composite metasurface is proposed for the first time. The device consists of three split-ring-resonators (SRRs), i. e., SRR 1 , SRR 2 and SRR 3 . It can generate three transmission peaks, and each of which is individually modulated by external voltages of V 1 , V 2 and V 3 , respectively. The central frequency of transmission peak generated by SRR 1 locates at 0.864 THz, and the maximum modulation depth is 79.6%. The second peak is generated by SRR 2 and locates at 1.161 THz, and its maximum modulation depth reaches to 87%. The third peak at 1.541 THz is produced by the SRR 3 and its maximum modulation depth is about 85.3%. More importantly, the device can be used as a 3-bit coder, and the codes of 111, 110, 101, 011, 100, 010, 001 and 000 are successfully realized by applying different voltages of V 1 , V 2 and V 3 . This study opens up new method for THz wave coding at frequency domain, and the proposed device can be applied in broadband THz wireless communications. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.
