The human brain has a simple time analyzing and processing images. The brain is able to rapidly deconstruct and distinguish an image's various components when the eye perceives it. With the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) as its foundation, this research suggests deep learning conceptual models. When the algorithms are compared, it becomes clear that CNN-based classification of handwritten alphabets performs better than other algorithms in terms of accuracy. The Manual Net, Alex Net, and LeNet Architectures are among the CNN algorithms employed in this research. The convulational layer, max pooling, flattening, feature assortment, rectifier lined unit, and completely linked softmaxx layers are each components of the aforementioned designs. The proposed network is tested using an image dataset comprising 530 training photos and 2756 testing images. The top precision and cost-efficient model will be used in the Django context to build a handler line for supplying the appeal to be recognized and obtaining the productivity outcome of recognized appeal. © 2024 IEEE.

This study presents an overview on intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)-enabled sensing and communication for the forthcoming sixth-generation(6G) wireless networks, in which IRSs are strategically deployed to proactively reconfigure wireless environments to improve both sensing and communication(S&C) performance. First, we exploit a single IRS to enable wireless sensing in the base station's(BS's) non-line-of-sight(NLoS) area. In particular, we present three IRS-enabled NLoS target sensing architectures with fully-passive, semi-passive, and active IRSs, respectively. We compare their pros and cons by analyzing the fundamental sensing performance limits for target detection and parameter estimation. Next, we consider a single IRS to facilitate integrated sensing and communication(ISAC), in which the transmit signals at the BS are used for achieving both S&C functionalities, aided by the IRS through reflective beamforming. We present joint transmit signal and receiver processing designs for realizing efficient ISAC, and jointly optimize the transmit beamforming at the BS and reflective beamforming at the IRS to balance the fundamental performance tradeoff between S&C. Furthermore, we discuss multi-IRS networked ISAC, by particularly focusing on multi-IRS-enabled multi-link ISAC, multi-region ISAC, and ISAC signal routing, respectively. Finally, we highlight various promising research topics in this area to motivate future work.

Traffic congestion has become a major issue that is being faced by the majority of road users. The increasing vehicle usage, and the lack of space and funds to construct new transport infrastructure, further complicates the issue. In this scenario, it is important to come up with an intelligent and economical solution that improves the quality of road users' service. The problem with the traffic handling framework is signal timings are fixed which is not adaptive to the density of vehicles. To address this issue we propose an Edge-Augument Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) road user cooperation for traffic management. The proposed system efficiently utilizes electronic devices to learn and adapt to changing traffic conditions in real-time. By optimizing the traffic signal timings based on the actual traffic conditions, adaptive systems reduce delay, improve traffic flow, reduce fuel consumption and pollution, and improve the electronics consumers' and road users' experiences. The proposed system has been tested with real-time experiments by integrating Electronic devices like cameras, smartphones, and AGX Xavier (edge device) with Cloud (ThingSpeak). The proposed system is verified by simulating the proposed system in the SUMO traffic simulator and its reliability is concluded by comparing the waiting time, depart delay, running, and halt time with the existing traditional method. © 2025 IEEE.

Dementia is an un-repairable and continuous disease that affects a person's mental health. Symptoms of Dementia may vary from one person to another, there are no effective treatments for detecting Dementia. Machine learning algorithm has proven to be effectively used by many researchers in assisting optimal detection of Dementia. So, this research introduces an improved eliminate particle swarm optimization (IEPSO) based Convolutional Neural Network (IEPSO-CNN) for diagnosing Dementia without causing severe effects effectively. IEPSO is used to find suitable parameters while training the model to improve Dementia detection accuracy. This IEPSO is used for tuning the parameter of the two-level Visual Geometry Group 16 (VGG 16) model. The integration of IEPSO and two hierarchical layers of VGG 16 increases the model's Dementia detection performance. The IEPSO-CNN model performance is evaluated using 6400 Dementia and non-Dementia images. The performance analysis shows that the IEPSO-CNN obtained a maximum accuracy of 99% for detecting the dementia stages. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

The increasing incidence of vehicle-animal collisions poses significant risks to both human and wildlife safety. To address this challenge, the implementation of IoT (Internet of Things) sensor networks for wild-animal detection near roads offers a promising solution. This paper explores the design and deployment of an IoT-based system aimed at detecting the presence of wild animals near roadways, thereby enhancing road safety and wildlife conservation. The proposed system utilizes a network of infrared (IR) sensors, motion detectors, and cameras strategically placed along road sections prone to wildlife crossings. These sensors continuously monitor the area, and upon detecting an animal, they transmit real-time data to a central processing unit via wireless communication protocols. The system then processes this data to generate immediate alerts for drivers through connected road signs or mobile applications, warning them of potential hazards ahead. Additionally, the collected data is stored and analyzed to understand animal movement patterns, which aids in making informed decisions about further preventive measures and the placement of wildlife crossings. The incorporation of machine learning algorithms improves the system's precision in distinguishing between different types of animals and minimizing false alarms. This IoT sensor network not only mitigates the risk of accidents but also contributes to the conservation of wildlife by preventing unnecessary fatalities. This project explores the use of Genetic Algorithms (GA) to optimize a detection system that can identify wild animals near roadsides. The paper summarize with a discussion on the effectiveness of the system, potential challenges in implementation, and outlines future pathways for research and innovation in this domain. © 2024 IEEE.

The microservices are continuously growing in domains of communication using cloud and AI. Access to microservice can be done using any respective cloud environment. Access microservices using cloud require multiple configurations. These configurations can be set up in Kubernetes or containerized environments to lightweight any application which increases the performance of microservices. Multiple requests can create a concurrent call, which causes slow response. Generative AI models can be used to solve concurrent calls. Generative AI used a modular approach for microservice communications with API gateway. This allows microservices to function in a variety of contexts, including cloud, edge devices, and containers. This process refers to a decentralized approach which can only be implemented in the case of microservices and provide improvement in latency along with bandwidth. © 2024 IEEE.

Yakshagana, a traditional theater form from Karnataka, India, features a unique combination of vibrant costumes, dynamic dance movements, and elaborate facial makeup, making character and actor identification a challenging task for automated systems. This research work presents a novel approach to classify Yakshagana characters into two primary categories, Vaishnava and Shaiva, and to identify the actors performing these characters using advanced machine learning techniques. Our research employs a Cyclic Gated Recurrent Neural Network (Cyclic GRNN) for classification and identification tasks. For character category classification, we integrate YOLOv3 and Faster R-CNN models, achieving an accuracy of 92.85% with YOLOv3 and 88.285% with Faster R-CNN. The categorization is specifically focused on distinguishing between Vaishnava and Shaiva characters. Additionally, for actor name identification, we utilize a RESNET-50 model, attaining a high accuracy of 95.60%. The results demonstrate the efficacy of Cyclic GRNN combined with state-of-the-art object detection and image classification models in accurately recognizing and categorizing Yakshagana characters and actors. This research contributes to the preservation and digital documentation of Yakshagana by providing robust tools for automated identification, thereby facilitating cultural heritage studies and enhancing audience engagement with this traditional art form. © 2024 IEEE.

In the massive Machine-Type Communication (mMTC), the exponential growth of Internet of Things (IoT) devices over Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs) presents substantial issues regarding energy efficiency and stability. The existing frameworks frequently fails in the the intricate relationships among the MAC-layer and physical parameters. To enhanced cross-layer evaluation methodology that integrates adaptive data rate (ADR) optimization, real-time energy consumption monitoring, and dynamic downlink message handling to address the problems. To maintain stability and performance with the network situations, the framework makes use of a Control-Lyapunov function. To enable effective resource allocation uses the Successive Convex Approximation that improve the effects of various transmission systems under quasi-static and dynamic channel conditions. To verify the cross-layer interactions and it impacts the energy efficiency, the proposed method begins with the data collection and it moves to payload size and packet length, are regularly changed to examines the affect throughput and energy consumption. The findings show the high-density node situations, energy consumption that reduced while retaining reliable communication. Furthermore, the results show the interdependencies among network parameters, highlighting the necessity of an integrated strategy. This framework helps to ensure the mMTC scenarios that optimized by improving the long-term viability and dependability of IoT networks. © 2024 IEEE.

The development of intelligent street light systems has ushered in a new era of efficiency and sustainability in urban infrastructure. The proposed work studies the integration of modern sensors and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to increase the functionality of street lights. The major components include Light Dependent Resistors (LDR) for automatic light management, an MQ135 sensor for air quality monitoring, and a fog detection system employing a laser module and LDR. These sensors are integrated with the ESP8266, providing cloud integration for real-time data visualization and monitoring. Additionally, solar panels are employed to enhance energy efficiency.
