High reliance on autonomous systems necessitates efficient and reliable data exchange through Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communication to have appropriate and stable network performance in dynamic vehicular environments. With heuristic approaches, Dijkstra's algorithm, and Deep Q-Networks (DQN), several methods are proposed for optimizing latency reduction, packet delivery rate improvement, and power efficiency in the direction of V2I communications. However, these approaches suffer from important challenges: low adaptability of the network to real-time dynamics, suboptimal resource usage, and difficulties in scalability towards complex large-scale networks. In this scenario, we propose a framework that incorporates a GNN inside autonomous systems for V2I communication to optimize performance. The GNN will process real-time graph features, including signal strength, packet loss, and mobility speed, as it dynamically changes in adaptation to the evolution of network behaviour and other functions. This work shows the superiority of the proposed GNN model for the efficiency of experimentally conducted simulations compared to the current models;it achieved latency reduced by up to 28%, 5-10% PDR, and 20% energy efficiency across the various scenarios with urban, rural, highway, and suburban networks. The results validate robustness and scalability for practical implementations by the proposed approach in real-world autonomous systems. Further development is possible with this framework: for example, the use of multi-agent reinforcement learning techniques within cooperative decision-making and the enhancement through blockchain-based security mechanisms to ensure the integrity of the data. © 2024 IEEE.

This research endeavors to design a predictive model to forecast stock prices using a Gradient Boosting Machine (GBM) regressor, specifically emphasizing the adjusted closing price to mitigate the autocorrelation issues intrinsic to time series data. The investigation encompasses a 12-month duration of historical stock data, integrating two technical indicators, namely Exponential Moving Averages (EMA-5 and EMA-10), to augment predictive precision. Gradient Boosting, recognized for its proficiency in managing intricate and non-linear data patterns, was employed to forecast forthcoming stock prices. Critical performance indicators, including Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and the Coefficient of Determination (R2), played a role in evaluating model accuracy, attaining an R2 score of 0.99, thereby signifying an almost perfect correlation between actual and predicted prices. Beyond numerical assessments, visual examinations through scatter plots, residual plots, and prediction error distribution further elucidated the model's efficiency. The findings reveal that the amalgamation of Gradient Boosting with Technical Indicators such as EMA-5 and EMA-10, coupled with an emphasis on the adjusted closing price, proves exceptionally effective for stock price forecasting. This methodology achieved an accuracy rate nearing 99%, illustrating its substantial promise for stock market prediction and its proficiency in alleviating autocorrelation challenges within time series datasets. © 2025 IEEE.

On greedy randomized coordinate updating iteration methods for solving symmetric eigenvalue problems

In order to compute the smallest eigenvalue and its corresponding eigenvector of a large-scale, real, and symmetric matrix, we propose a class of greedy randomized coordinate updating iteration methods based on the principle that the indices of larger entries in absolute value of the current residual are selected with a higher probability and, with respect to this index set, the next iterate is updated from the current iterate along with the selected coordinate such that the corresponding entry of the residual is annihilated, resulting in fast convergence rates of the proposed iteration methods. Under appropriate conditions, we prove the convergence of both sequences of the Rayleigh-quotients and the acute angles between the iterates and the eigenvector in terms of the expectation. By numerical experiments, we show that this class of greedy randomized coordinate updating iteration methods are advantageous over the parameterized power method and the coordinate descent method in both iteration counts and computing times. Moreover, with theoretical analysis and computational performance, we confirm that the convergence property of this class of iteration methods can be improved significantly by suitably choosing the arbitrary nonnegative parameter involved in the greedy probability criterion. © 2025 IMACS

To build smart medical recommendation system the data needs to be collected from laboratories. The system is intended to provide services as control and manage data samples, industry standards, real test results, reports, human resources in the laboratories, machines, tiny instruments, and automation of the workflow. Combining the data from the laboratories and medical institutions enable ease of communication without time delay. The challenging task is that identifying appropriate hardware and software components which provides compatibility in collecting data and their processing steps, repository storage, secured distribution, and the policies used for information representation in the results. In order to automate the entire process of medical recommendation system the metric parameters are used for determining the efficiency and productivity of the lab to enhance the quality of control systems. The vulnerability lies in maintaining traditional way of records in paper and error in the data. The purpose of this project is to develop the process of daily tasks will be computed through the database using pattern recognition techniques. © 2023 IEEE.

Improvements in patient care and early disease detection possibilities are two of the ways artificial intelligence is transforming the healthcare industry. Alzheimer's disease, a neurodegenerative disease that worsens with time, is among the most difficult diseases to exactly identify in early stages. Patients thus delay in treatment and experience a decline in their quality of life. Research is still under progress, thus knowledge about how AI-driven prediction models could be combined with readily available healthcare services remains lacking. This work presents a special artificial intelligence-powered system consisting of DenseNet-based deep learning for Alzheimer's disease prediction with an online consultation platform. The proposed approach analyzes brain MRI data and classifies Alzheimer's stages with higher accuracy using a DenseNet architecture, well-known for its exceptional performance in the field of feature extraction. Comprising three thousand magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images, the dataset has been preprocessed for noise reduction and tuned for models performance. At 98.5%, the DenseNet model exceeded other methods including VGGNet and ResNet in accuracy. © 2025 IEEE.

Dynamic effects in industrial logistics demand more creative solutions towards the pursuit of efficiency and agility in evolving environments. Though static path-planning and taskallocation algorithms have provided the basis for how autonomous vehicles are guided within structured environments, those approaches usually fail to contend with indeterminacy outside of their modelled world, where there is dynamic obstacle appearance and changing task requirements, thus raising inefficiencies and costs of operations. To address these issues, the paper introduces a new multi-agent coordination system that uses a hybrid A∗ algorithm, integrating path planning with sophisticated detection methods for dynamic obstacles and improving superior task allocation. The system is supposed to provide improvements in real-time coordination in industries of autonomous vehicles to achieve efficient management of tasks and paths in changing environments. We integrate the latest in machine learning techniques for improved and real-time updates within the changes of the vehicle routing process based on both immediate sensory input and environmental interactions. Simulations show that our system performs the task much faster than classic systems: up to 30% improvement in completing tasks compared with classic models, and an average improvement of 25% in allround energy efficiency. It intelligently integrates machine learning techniques with real-time data processing. With the ability to scale up or down, or to adapt itself, this system addresses the chief challenges existing methods face and could revolutionize logistics operations within any industry. © 2024 IEEE.

Driver fatigue is a significant contributor to road accidents worldwide, and there is a need for efficient driver drowsiness detection systems to prevent such accidents. Computer vision techniques like OpenCV have recently been utilized to develop such strategies. This proposed work investigates the use of machine learning models and OpenCV Python package for driver drowsiness detection. The proposed system uses a camera to continuously capture the driver's face and applies image processing techniques to identify drowsiness. The system detects blinks by monitoring the driver's eyes and measuring the frequency and duration of eyelid closures. The real-time experiments conducted with the proposed method showed high accuracy in detecting drowsiness, and the system can be implemented in various settings, including cars and heavy vehicles. Ultimately, the system has some potential to reduce accidents caused by driver fatigue, thereby enhancing road safety. © 2024 IEEE.

In this work,we develop a stochastic gradient descent method for the computational optimal design of random rough surfaces in thin-film solar *** formulate the design problems as random PDE-constrained optimization problems and seek the optimal statistical parameters for the random *** optimizations at fixed frequency as well as at multiple frequencies and multiple incident angles are *** evaluate the gradient of the objective function,we derive the shape derivatives for the interfaces and apply the adjoint state method to perform the *** stochastic gradient descent method evaluates the gradient of the objective function only at a few samples for each iteration,which reduces the computational cost *** numerical experiments are conducted to illustrate the efficiency of the method and significant increases of the absorptance for the optimal random *** also examine the convergence of the stochastic gradient descent algorithm theoretically and prove that the numerical method is convergent under certain assumptions for the random interfaces.

A large amount of data is collected, analysed, and used on a regular basis by a large number of people for web pages, books, journals, and files which make up a significant portion of the data on the Internet. The burden on significant content-based retrieval and other applications is increasing as the volume of surveillance video data grows. Therefore to reduce the burden during retrieval and to solve the problem of video surveillance an ontology based video retrieval by feature extraction and classification techniques is proposed. In the Initial step the examined form of description files in OWL (Web Ontology Language is fed as input. Then the video pre-processed and segmented before extracting the features. The features of video has been extracted using "Hidden Markov Logic Model With Edge Histogram Descriptor (HMLM-EHD)"in which the spatio based features are extracted with Shape-based features that define object shapes in image is extracted from object contours or regions. After the extraction of features, classification is done using Bayesian network based active learning. The retrieval subsystem evaluates the provided query, performs similarity matching operations (which can be done using the correlation Distance Algorithm), and finally provides the result to the end user for these categorised video frames. The experimental results shows retrieved video frames and their parametric analysis in terms of accuracy of 94%, precision of 85%, recall of 71 % and F-1 score of 73%. © 2023 IEEE.

Hepatitis is a liver inflammation caused primarily by viral infection. There are several methods that help with its diagnosis. However, the available datasets for Hepatitis research contain missing values that are imputed by median values. The Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) oversamples the minority class, while feature selection algorithms extract critical features from the actual data. One significant disadvantage of existing approaches is their inability to efficiently deal with missing data, resulting in lower statistical effectiveness. In this paper, a novel approach for predicting disease diagnostic is proposed. Firstly, recursive feature elimination (RFE) is used to remove features from the total number declared, followed by univariate analysis, which provides a score to each feature. The principal component analysis (PCA) compresses data. The mutual information score and ReliefF are two automatic feature selection approaches that restore key features. The synthetic minority oversampling technique (SMOTE) oversamples the minority class to obtain balanced data. Several experiments have been conducted using the hepatitis dataset and the framework has shown to predict the disease much more accurately than existing methods. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
