This is one of our series works on discrete energy analysis of the variable-step BDF *** this part,we present stability and convergence analysis of the third-order BDF(BDF3)schemes with variable steps for linear diffusion equations,see,e.g.,[SIAM ***.,58:2294-2314]and[***.,90:1207-1226]for our previous works on the BDF2 *** this aim,we first build up a discrete gradient structure of the variable-step BDF3 formula under the condition that the adjacent step ratios are less than 1.4877,by which we can establish a discrete energy dissipation ***-robust stability and convergence analysis in the L^(2) norm are then *** the mesh robustness means that the solution errors are well controlled by the maximum time-step size but independent of the adjacent time-step *** also present numerical tests to support our theoretical results.

IoT for smart microgrids is an innovative disruption at the cutting edge of energy management, relying on interconnectedness provided by smart sensors and devices to enhance power generation and distribution precision in metropolitan areas. The problems of the real-time operational capabilities required for efficient energy resource management thus progress, inhibit rapid control and management. The main goal of this research proposal consists of to use of the advanced technology of 5G NR Sidelink combined with MQTT to conduct a revolutionary communication system of Microgrid running through the IoT devices. The 5G NR (New Radio) Sidelink enables direct D2D communication, which leads to a dramatic lowering of the latency in the absence of traditional network infrastructures for communication, while the MQTT protocol improves the communication efficiency among networks of numerous IoT devices. The introduction of this system was followed by a 15% decrease in energy transmission losses and by 20% improvement in response times in comparison to conventional models specified in the quantitative evaluation thus increasing operational efficiency by far. These efficiencies not only reduce operating expenses and power consumption but also increase the solution's scalability, pointing out the possibility of building the solution for bigger urban microgrid implementations. In consideration of that, the suggested mechanism with 5G NR Sidelink along with MQTT overcomes elaborate barriers of IoT-based microgrids and establishes a new potency in advanced energy management in smart cities which could make the distribution network in the urban areas on the edge of the verge of a change. © 2024 IEEE.

The ability to match features and keep track of objects in changing dynamic environments is still an important problem, particularly due to varying noise levels, diverse datasets, and high dimensional feature spaces. Euclidean Distance and Cosine Similarity based matching are existing methods that commonly do not generalize well, particularly in the case of cross domain scenarios, where noise and motion dynamics are powerful factors to limit the accuracy of tracking. However, Deep Metric Learning approaches can extract robust features at the cost of computational efficiency and are unsuitable for real-time applications. This research proposes a Siamese Network framework to solve these problems by using robust feature matching and multi-object tracking. Based on that, the proposed framework uses a dual-branch network architecture in which feature embeddings extracted from paired inputs are mapped through the same shared latent space. Furthermore, the adaptive learning rate leads to efficient convergence during the training. Experimental results show that the Siamese Network not only achieves better accuracy than the existing methods and the more such as Deep Metric Learning but also performs significantly more efficient computation. With an accuracy of 90.2 % at a precision of 88.5%, the framework's inference time is much faster than that of Deep Metric Learning at 2.0ms. Furthermore, the proposed method performs well on the generalization over datasets with a 15% improvement of cross-domain matching accuracy on Euclidean Distance. By striking this balance between accuracy, efficiency and adaptability, it shows its suitability for dynamic and noisy environments for real-time tracking. The proposed method fills existing gaps and achieves a new state of the art for feature matching and tracking performance. © 2025 IEEE.

Despite a sharp rise in population, agriculture still provides food for all people and acts as a backbone of the country. Nowadays, no proper guidance given to farmers and they are not able to analyze the nature of soil, disease of plant and its requirements. This leads to the depletion of farming in future. Crop diseases must be identified and prevented in order to increase the productivity. To overcome this, the nature of the soil is analyzed through various parameters like Nitrogen-Potassium-Phosphorus Content in soil, Humidity, Temperature, pH value of the soil, Rainfall using sensors, plants disease using cameras in real-time environment. These parameters are obtained using various IoT Sensors, cameras and existing Data, are analyzed through ML Algorithms. The proposed system consists of two modules in crop yield prediction system using the features NPP-WPF whereas NPP stands for Nitrogen-Potassium-Phosphorus and WPF stands for Water Content-Pesticide-Fertilizer, the Farmers can be guided with the details of the crop that is suitable for the soil and about Fertilizer, Pesticide, Water requirements. The second module called as automatic disease detection system uses CNN, ResNet, VGGNet, and Mobile net models to recognize and diagnose plant diseases from their leaves at the early stage. The proposed model is implemented with the dataset of 14 different species of plants and with the categorical classes of 38 classes. The result analysis shows that the suggested model provides accuracy of 98.2% when compared to the existing state-of-the-art methodologies. © 2023 IEEE.

Democracy is vital in many emerging economies because it places power in control of the general public, who choose government via the electoral procedure. Elections rely heavily on polling places and people. Numerous changes have happened in electoral processes since the year of the republic till now. Subsequently, Ballot sheets were implemented as a voting medium, but this was later replaced by electronic voting machines, in which voters must select from a list of buttons, each symbolizing a symbol. This paper proposes techniques for ensuring voter identification and privacy through fingerprint scanners and other biometric identification techniques-based machine learning algorithms. As a result, we offered a new approach to speed up the voting process and eliminate similar issues. For face identification, we employed Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures such as Alex Net, Visual Geometry Group (VGG-16), and Random Forest Algorithms in this study. The accuracy provided by Alex Net, VGG-16, and Random Forest (R.F.) Algorithms was 94.16%, 98.45%, and 92%, respectively. VGG-16 architecture outperformed all other algorithms with a 98.45% accuracy. We utilized an ATmega328-based Arduino for finger detection. © 2022 IEEE.

Sentiment analysis, which aims to extract information from textual data indicating people's ideas or attitudes about a particular problem, has developed into one of the most exciting study issues in natural language processing (NLP) with the development of social media. Twitter is a social network with an extensive audience that expresses their thoughts and opinions clearly and readily. Due to the prevalence of slang phrases and incorrect spellings in short phrase styles, Twitter data analysis is more challenging than data analysis from other social networks. Automated feature selection still has several limitations, such as higher computing costs that rise with the number of characteristics. Deep learning, which is self-learned and more accurate at processing vast amounts of data, is utilized to overcome these challenges. This paper introduces a conditional generative adversarial network (GAN) for Twitter sentiment analysis, whereas a convolutional neural network (CNN) has been used to extract traits from Twitter data. Compared to existing works, the proposed work has outperformed in accuracy, recall, precision, and F1 score. The suggested method is the most accurate, with a classification accuracy of 93.33 %. © 2024

At present, technological systems lack a secure and transparent method for tracking goods and preventing theft in e-commerce, leading to trust issues and data vulnerabilities. There is a pressing need for a comprehensive solution that integrates Ethereum blockchain, IPFS, and advanced cryptographic techniques to address these challenges and enhance the security and transparency of transactions. This research paper presents a robust system that harnesses the Ethereum blockchain, IPFS (Interplanetary File System), and advanced cryptographic algorithms to create a secure, decentralized approach for tracking goods and preventing theft incidents. Unique identifiers and related information will be sent to the mail of the customer and same should entered by the customer for successful transaction. By assigning unique identifiers to purchased products and employing cryptographic techniques to encrypt sensitive data, our system ensures both user privacy and the creation of an immutable transaction ledger. Users can efficiently manage their purchased goods, block stolen items, and communicate with sellers through an intuitive interface. Additionally, the system provides sellers with a comprehensive transaction history, enhancing accountability and transparency within the supply chain. Through this research, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our blockchain based anti-theft measures, underpinned by Ethereum, IPFS, and cutting-edge cryptographic algorithms, in fostering secure, trustless transactions. This work highlights the transformative potential of blockchain technology and decentralized protocols in revolutionizing security and transparency across diverse sectors.

A tensor factorization model of multilayer network interdependence

Multilayer networks describe the rich ways in which nodes are related by accounting for different relationships in separate layers. These multiple relationships are naturally represented by an adjacency tensor. In this work we study the use of the nonnegative Tucker decomposition (NNTuck) of such tensors under a KL loss as an expressive factor model that naturally generalizes existing stochastic block models of multilayer networks. Quantifying interdependencies between layers can identify redundancies in the structure of a network, indicate relationships between disparate layers, and potentially inform survey instruments for collecting social network data. We propose definitions of layer independence, dependence, and redundancy based on likelihood ratio tests between nested nonnegative Tucker decompositions. Using both synthetic and real-world data, we evaluate the use and interpretation of the NNTuck as a model of multilayer networks. Algorithmically, we show that using expectation maximization (EM) to maximize the log-likelihood under the NNTuck is step-by-step equivalent to tensorial multiplicative updates for the NNTuck under a KL loss, extending a previously known equivalence from nonnegative matrices to nonnegative tensors.

Cognitive robots are intelligent systems that learn from their environment, adapt to dynamic changes, and make decisions without a human's direct intervention. This research studies the integration of Reinforcement Learning in cognitive robots with Q-Learning for autonomous path planning. The study addresses the most critical issues in traditional A∗ and Dynamic Programming algorithms by devising path-planning techniques, mainly the lack of adaptability and computational efficiency in real-time and unpredictable environments. Our approach is based on Q-Learning, which is a model-free RL algorithm allowing the robots to find paths autonomously by optimizing their paths and avoiding obstacles. The Q-Learning algorithm provides the possibility of learning optimal policies for the robot through iterative interaction with its environment balanced between exploration and exploitation of the decision process. A reward system is utilized by the proposed model, encouraging the robot to explore shorter, collision-free paths and adjust based on feedback in real time from its surroundings. The model was found to be significantly better than its counterparts. In this context, as indicated, the Q-Learning model runs at 11.5 seconds, faster than A∗ at 18.3 seconds and Dynamic Programming at 16.7 seconds, yet with an accuracy of 94% and was found to have the highest collision avoidance rate at 98%. Additionally, the adaptability of the model about the environment presents a marked difference in terms of path length optimization, having done so with a mean path length of 12.3, compared to approaches or models. The robustness and scalability of the Q-Learning model make it highly applicable in real-world applications. © 2024 IEEE.
