Possible signatures of higher dimension in thin accretion disk around brane world black hole

We probe deeply into the characteristics of thin accretion disk surrounding black hole within the brane world paradigm. We investigate how model parameters affect the physical properties of the disk. Our findings indicate that as the tidal charge parameter inherited from the higher dimension increases, the energy flux, the radiation temperature, the spectral cutoff frequency, the spectral luminosity, and the conversion efficiency of the disk all increase, but the radius of the innermost stable circular orbit decreases. Compared to cases of the Kerr and Schwarzschild black holes, the disk is hotter and more luminous for positive tidal charge parameter, while it is cooler and less luminous for negative tidal charge parameter, which suggests the potential for probing possible signatures of higher dimension. © 2024, CC BY-NC-SA.

We study the interactions of the ΣcΣc system in the framework of chiral effective theory. We consider the contact, one-pion and two-pion exchange interactions and bridge the low energy constants of the ΣcΣc system to those of the Σc(∗)D¯ (∗) systems through the quark-level ansatz for the contact interaction. We explore the influence of intermediate channels in the two-pion exchange diagrams of the ΣcΣc system. We obtain a deep bound state [ΣcΣc]IJ=0=0 and a shallow bound state [ΣcΣc]IJ=1=1. As a byproduct, we further investigate the interactions of the ΛcΛc and ΛcΣc systems. © 2022, CC BY.

Based on a contact lagrangian that incorporates the SU(3) flavor and SU(2) spin symmetries, we discuss the symmetry properties of the interactions among the heavy flavor meson-baryon (Equation presented) (with quark components [nc¯][nnc], [sc¯][nnc], or [nc¯][nsc]) systems and di-baryon (Equation presented) (with quark components [nnc][ncc], [nnc][scc] or [nsc][ncc]) systems (n = u, d). The light quark components of the (Equation presented) and (Equation presented) systems have identical flavors, the interactions generated from the exchanges of light mesons in the (Equation presented) systems should be very similar to that of the (Equation presented) systems. We perform the single-channel and multi-channel calculations on the (Equation presented) systems and introduce the SU(3) breaking effect to identify the different mass spectra among the (Equation presented)(Equation presented) and (Equation presented) systems. We suggest two kinds of evidences for the existence of the flavor-spin symmetry among the heavy flavor (Equation presented) molecule community, i.e., the mass arrangements of the (Equation presented) mass spectra and the binding energies of the heavy flavor meson-baryon (di-baryon) systems attributed to the same contact potentials. © 2024, CC BY.

We investigate the interactions of the (c¯q)(c¯q)/(ccq)(c¯q)/(ccq)(ccq) di-hadron systems based on a contact lagrangian possessing the SU(3) flavor and SU(2) spin symmetries. Under the assumptions of two scenarios for the JP quantum numbers of the PψN (4440) and PψN (4457) states, we obtain the parameters (g˜s, g˜a) introduced from this contact lagrangian. Then we include the SU(3) breaking effect by introducing a factor gx, this quantity can be further constrained by the experimental mass of the PψsΛ (4338) state. We can reproduce the mass of the Tccf (3875) state with the parameters extracted from the observed PψN states, this consistency indicates a unified description of the di-hadron molecular states composed of two heavy-light hadrons. With the same parameters, we discuss the possible mass spectra of the T¯ccf/PψcΛ/HΩΛcccc systems. Then we proceed to discuss the existences of the T¯ccθs¯/PψcsN/HΩNccccs states by investigating the SU(3) breaking effects. Our results show that the states in the T¯ccθs¯/PψcsN systems can hardly form bound states, while the states in the HΩNccccs system can form bound states due to their larger reduced masses. © 2024, CC BY.

We revisit the DD* interactions in chiral effective field theory up to the third order for the first time. We deal with the pion-exchanged interactions via local momentum-space regularization, in which we focus on their long-range behaviors through demanding their contributions vanish at the origin in the coordinate space. The short-range contact interactions and subleading pion-charmed meson couplings are estimated with the phenomenological resonance saturation model. The subleading pion-charmed meson couplings are much weaker than those in the pion-nucleon system, thus the DD* binding mechanism is very different with that of the NN system. We also obtain the analytic structure of the two-pion exchange interactions in the coordinate space, and we find that its asymptotic behavior at long distance is similar to but slightly different than the NN interactions. We get the same asymptotic behavior of the two-pion exchange interaction with that from the HAL QCD method, but appearing in the longer distance rather than 1

The holographic state of matter and its implications for quantum gravity

The holographic state of matter exists in the quantum gravitational regime, with black holes as the example. In this essay, we provide a microscopic derivation to the holographic thermodynamics and further discuss its implications for quantum gravity. Especially, we establish the link between holographic entropy and dimensional reduction. It seems that the fundamental physics behind black holes and the very early universe is 1 + 1 dimensional. Three singlet new Higgs superfields and right-handed neutrinos are added to MSSM to obtain U(1)XSSM model. Its local gauge group is SU(3)C×SU(2)L×U(1)Y×U(1)X. In the framework of U(1)XSSM, we study muon anomalous magnetic moment and lepton flavor violating decays lj→ liγ(j = 2, 3;i = 1, 2) within the Mass Insertion Approximation(MIA). Through the MIA method, we can find the parameters that directly affect the analytical result of the lepton flavor violating decays lj→ liγ, which make our work more convenient. We want to provide a set of simple analytic formulas for the form factors and the associated effective vertices, that may be very useful for future phenomenological studies of the lepton flavor violating decays. According to the accuracy of the numerical results which the influence of different sensitive parameters, we come to the conclusion that the non-diagonal elements which correspond to the generations of the initial lepton and final lepton are main sensitive parameters and lepton flavor violation(LFV) sources. As the U(1) extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model, the U(1)XSSM has new super fields such as right-handed neutrinos and three Higgs singlets. In the U(1)XSSM, the lightest CP-even Higgs mass mh0is researched through the Higgs effective potential with one loop corrections. We also calculate the Higgs decays h0→ γγ , h0→ V V ( V = W, Z), h0→ ll¯Z and h0→ νν¯Z. The obtained results are reasonable, which are in favour of the study of the Higgs characteristic and the phenomenology of the U(1)XSSM. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Based on the instantaneous Bethe-Salpeter equation method, we calculate the average values |q̅|n ≡ qn and speed powers |v̅|n ≡ vn (n = 1, 2, 3, 4) of a heavy quark inside S wave and P wave heavy-light mesons, where q̅ and v̅ are the three dimensional momentum and velocity of the heavy quark, respectively. We obtain the kinetic energy µ2π = 0.455 GeV2 for the B meson, which is consistent with the experimental result 0.464 ± 0.076 GeV2. For the Bs, D and Ds mesons, the µ2π are 0.530 GeV2, 0.317 GeV2 and 0.369 GeV2, respectively. And v2 = 0.0185, 0.0215, 0.121, and 0.140 for B, Bs, D, and Ds. We obtain some relationships, for example, q0n− (mS) ≈ q1n− (mS), q0n+ (mP) ≈ q1n+′ (mP ′) > q1n+ (mP) ≈ q2n+ (mP), and qn(mS) n(mP) (m = 1, 2, 3), etc. Copyright © 2024, The Authors.
