In addressing issues like an excessive number of network parameters and the loss of fine texture details in image super-resolution reconstruction approaches based on diffusion models, this passage introduces a novel image super-resolution model (FELSDiff). This model relies on the fusion of diffusion models, feature extraction, and latent space. FELSDiff utilizes a Pre-trained CNN for initial super-resolution to extract the primary low-band features and part high-band features of the image. The preliminary super-resolved image is then concatenated as a condition to this model. We introduce a cross-attention mechanism guided by the high-band features of the preliminary super-resolved image to enhance the network's feature extraction capability and obtain more effective features. In the U-Net structure, we incorporate a latent space strategy, enabling the model's training and inference processes to be conducted in the latent space, thereby reducing the number of network parameters. Experimental results on multiple standard datasets indicate that this method outperforms other advanced methods overall. © 2024 IEEE.

An improved algorithm is proposed for the omission and re-detection problems in the point cloud object detection method CenterPoint. The algorithm firstly adds Focal sparse convolution module to the feature extraction network to increase the proportion of important information in the features; then redefines the generation function of the detection head heatmap, and the supervisory signal generated by the elliptical Gaussian kernel is more closely matched to the real shape of the object to inhibit the generation of negative samples; finally, the overall regression of the bounding box information is applied to the training, so that the back propagation loss gain of the single dimensional information is regulated by the associated information. The improved algorithm is trained and evaluated on the KITTI 3D object detection dataset, and the overall mean Average Precision (mAP) is improved by 3.29% compared with the base model CenterPoint. The experimental results show that the improved algorithm effectively suppresses the redetection and omission problems of CenterPoint.

Attention mechanism has been a successful method for multimodal affective analysis in recent years. Despite the advances, several significant challenges remain in fusing language and its nonverbal context information. One is to generate sparse attention coefficients associated with acoustic and visual modalities, which helps locate critical emotional se-mantics. The other is fusing complementary cross‐modal representation to construct optimal salient feature combinations of multiple modalities. A Conditional Transformer Fusion Network is proposed to handle these problems. Firstly, the authors equip the transformer module with CNN layers to enhance the detection of subtle signal patterns in nonverbal sequences. Secondly, sentiment words are utilised as context conditions to guide the computation of cross‐modal attention. As a result, the located nonverbal fea-tures are not only salient but also complementary to sentiment words directly. Experi-mental results show that the authors’ method achieves state‐of‐the‐art performance on several multimodal affective analysis datasets.

With the rapid advancement of information technology such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, virtual reality, etc., in the context of the deep integration of information technology and education and teaching, smart classroom has set off a new round of revolution. Table-to-text generation is designed to generate descriptive natural language for structured tables that conforms to objective facts and follows the source data. The current challenge in this field is to capture the structural information of the table and improve the quality of the generated text. The existing sequence-to-sequence approach is to linearize the table, which leads to miss captured structure information and is not conducive to the model learning contextual semantics. In this paper, we introduce structural-aware self-attention, which focuses on table structure to capture cell relationships between the same row or column. In this way, the generated descriptive text can more accurately reflect the correlation between the cells in the table, discarding irrelevant information. In order to adapt the pre-trained language model to the table-to-text generation task, we introduce prefix-tuning. Traditional fine-tuning methods update all model parameters, which leads to increased training costs. In contrast, using prefix-tuning for a more lightweight approach can improve model performance considerably. Attaching continuous prompts to tokens helps the model better understand the structure and semantics of the input sequence. All of our models are extended based on T5 and have strong competitiveness in the ToTTo dataset and Hitab dataset compared with several classical baselines. © 2023 ACM.

Reinforcement learning (RL) has made great success in recent years. Generally, the learning process requires a huge amount of interaction with the environment before an agent can achieve acceptable performance. This motivates many techniques, such as incorporating prior knowledge which is usually presented as experts' demonstration, and using a probability distribution to represent state-and-action values, to accelerate the learning process. The methods perform well when the prior knowledge is genuinely correct and no much change occurs to the learning environment. However, the requirement is not perfectly realistic in many complex applications. The demonstration knowledge may not reflect the true environment and even be full of noise. In this article, we introduce a dynamic distribution merging method to improve knowledge utilization in a general RL algorithm, namely Q-learning. The new method adapts a normal distribution to represent state-action values and merges the prior and learned knowledge in a discriminative way. We theoretically analyze the new learning method and demonstrate its empirical performance over multiple problem domains. © 2020 IEEE.

Web services have been integrated with all walks of life in society. Abnormalities in the network and services seriously affect user experience and company revenue. The system log records various information of the system, and the information-rich log messages usually show different anomalies. It is particularly important to accurately and timely identify the anomalies of the log messages and classify the anomalies. In addition, most of the current existing work only detects anomalies and does not classify them, and a few existing works require anomaly labels to classify anomalies. Based on these potential challenges, we propose an unsupervised hypersphere-based log message anomaly detection and classification method, LogADCH. We use the hypersphere loss function to let the BERT model learn compact representations of log messages and perform anomaly detection. Finally, K-Means clustering is performed on the semantic feature vectors detected as anomalies to form clusters of different types of anomalies. Compared with other works, LogADCH further classifies the abnormal types after detecting the abnormal logs, helping the operation and maintenance personnel to quickly locate the fault. We compare our method with other methods on two public datasets, and the experimental results show that LogADCH has superior performance in anomaly detection as well as anomaly classification. © 2023 IEEE.

Aerial scene recognition(ASR)has attracted great attention due to its increasingly essential *** of the ASR methods adopt the multi‐scale architecture because both global and local features play great roles in ***,the existing multi‐scale methods neglect the effective interactions among different scales and various spatial locations when fusing global and local features,leading to a limited ability to deal with challenges of large‐scale variation and complex background in aerial scene *** addition,existing methods may suffer from poor generalisations due to millions of to‐belearnt parameters and inconsistent predictions between global and local *** tackle these problems,this study proposes a scale‐wise interaction fusion and knowledge distillation(SIF‐KD)network for learning robust and discriminative features with scaleinvariance and background‐independent *** main highlights of this study include two *** the one hand,a global‐local features collaborative learning scheme is devised for extracting scale‐invariance features so as to tackle the large‐scale variation problem in aerial scene ***,a plug‐and‐play multi‐scale context attention fusion module is proposed for collaboratively fusing the context information between global and local *** the other hand,a scale‐wise knowledge distillation scheme is proposed to produce more consistent predictions by distilling the predictive distribution between different scales during *** experimental results show the proposed SIF‐KD network achieves the best overall accuracy with 99.68%,98.74%and 95.47%on the UCM,AID and NWPU‐RESISC45 datasets,respectively,compared with state of the arts.

Research on key technologies of edge cache in virtual data space across WAN

The authors of this paper have previously proposed the global virtual data space system (GVDS) to aggregate the scattered and autonomous storage resources in China’s national supercomputer grid (National Supercomputing Center in Guangzhou, National Supercomputing Center in Jinan, National Supercomputing Center in Changsha, Shanghai Supercomputing Center, and Computer Network Information Center in Chinese Academy of sciences) into a storage system that spans the wide area network (WAN), which realizes the unified management of global storage resources in China. At present, the GVDS has been successfully deployed in the China National Grid environment. However, when accessing and sharing remote data in the WAN, the GVDS will cause redundant transmission of data and waste a lot of network bandwidth resources. In this paper, we propose an edge cache system as a supplementary system of the GVDS to improve the performance of upper-level applications accessing and sharing remote data. Specifically, we first designs the architecture of the edge cache system, and then study the key technologies of this architecture: the edge cache index mechanism based on double-layer hashing, the edge cache replacement strategy based on the GDSF algorithm, the request routing based on consistent hashing method, and the cluster member maintenance method based on the SWIM protocol. The experimental results show that the edge cache system has successfully implemented the relevant operation functions (read, write, deletion, modification, etc.) and is compatible with the POSIX interface in terms of function. Further, it can greatly reduce the amount of data transmission and increase the data access bandwidth when the accessed file is located at the edge cache system in terms of performance, i.e., its performance is close to the performance of the network file system in the local area network (LAN).

Intelligence is an important trend in the development of measurement and control systems. However, there is still a lack of unified understanding of the intelligent autonomous classification of the measurement and control system. The establishment of intelligent evaluation standards in this field has become an urgent research topic. This paper first gives an overview of the aviation measurement and control system, and then takes the classification standards of autonomy in the fields of automobile driving automation in China and the United states, the autonomy and autonomy level of typical ships in China, and the automation of civil unmanned aircraft system in China as a reference. A 5-level intelligent grading standard based on task adaptability, environmental complexity and human-computer interaction is proposed. The classification standard is practical and easy to understand. It can provide reference for the establishment of intelligent standards for measurement and control systems, improve the application speed of intelligent autonomous technology in the field of measurement and control, and broaden the application prospect of intelligent measurement and control systems. © 2023 IEEE.
