In order to analyse the global exponential stability (GES) of inertial neural networks (INNs) with multiple time-varying transmission delays, a direct parameterized method in this article is proposed. First, the solution of the considered delayed INNs can be parameterized. Thereby, sufficient conditions on GES of the delayed INNs will be established. Then, a numerical example is given to confirm the feasibility and non-conservativeness of the stability criterions. There are two advantages for the direct parameterized method given in this work: (i) to avoid constructing the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF), the GES is defined directly by using the inequality technique;(ii) the stability criterion contains are obtained by the theoretical results solve rapidly. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Mode-dependent spatiotemporal event-triggered control for switched nonlinear PDE systems with persistent dwell-time switching regulation

This paper proposes a mode-dependent spatiotemporal event-triggered control scheme for nonlinear switched partial differential equation systems with persistent dwell-time switching regulation. First, a mode-dependent spatiotemporal event-triggered mechanism (ETM) based on sampled data is proposed, where different ETMs will be applied to different subsystems to save limited communication resources. Besides, the mismatch problem between the system mode and the controller mode caused by the coupling of the switching process and the event triggering process is solved by analyzing the number of triggering times during the switching interval. Furthermore, to reduce the conservatism of the obtained results, the fuzzy Lyapunov–Krasovskii function that can fully utilise the information of the membership function is proposed. Finally, simulation results are employed to verify the validity and superiority of the proposed methods. © 2025 Northeastern University, China.

This article investigates the global exponential stability of discrete-time high-order neural networks with timevarying delays. Firstly, a novel method is proposed to establish delay-dependent sufficient conditions for global exponential stability of the zero equilibrium. The sufficient conditions include a simple matrix inequality. Then two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of theoretical results. The proposed method has two advantages:(i) It is directly based on the definition of global exponential stability, and does not need to construct any Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional;(ii)it can result in stability criteria that are easy to verify and less conservative. More valuable, the method presented in this article is suitable for most discrete-time neural networks.

Global Exponential Stability Analysis for A Class of Coupled Cyclic Genetic Regulatory Networks with Multiple Time-Varying Delays

The coupled repressilators, as a special case of cyclic genetic regulatory networks, can be used to adjust oscillations at the cellular level, and hence it have received extensive attention from many scholars. This paper addresses the problem of global exponential stability analysis for nonnegative equilibrium points of a class of coupled repressilator models with multiple time-varying delays. Sufficient conditions are investigated to guarantee that the considered model has a unique nonnegative equilibrium point which is globally exponentially stable. The obtained criteria are composed of several simple linear inequalities that are only related to the model parameters, so they can be easily verified by using the standard software tools. The results of two illustrative examples present the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

This paper investigates containment control problem for a class of nonlinear multi-agent systems with multiple dynamic leaders,where the condition of zero control input for leader is not *** dynamics of the each subsystem are assumed to be unknown and are estimated using neural networks.A local observer is used to estimate the states and an observer-based neural network controller is designed to guarantee that followers converge to the convex hull spanned by the *** simulations are finally given to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.

This research introduces a novel approach to analyze global exponential input-to-state stability for a category of nonlinear systems affected simultaneously by both unbounded distributed delays and time-varying neutral and transmission delays. The new method avoids constructing Lyapunov–Krasovskii generalized functionals. We verify the validity of the obtained results with two numerical examples. Notably, this study is the first to present a global exponential input-to-state stability analysis for the nonlinear system under consideration and introduce a novel method based on system solutions.

For a class of uncertain genetic regulatory networks with interval time-varying discrete delays and constant distributed delays, this paper investigates the problem of robust guaranteed cost control. The aim is to design a state feedback controller such that the resultant closed-loop system is robustly asymptotically stable and has guaranteed cost. The linear matrix inequality method combined with the convex technique, the slack matrix technique and the integral inequality technique is employed to present the existence and design method of expected controllers. The controller design problem is boiled down to solve a set of linear matrix inequalities, which can be realized easily by employing the standard toolbox softwares. The simulation results of an illustrative example show the applicability of the proposed design method.
