This paper studies the finite-time attitude coordination control for formation spacecraft systems with external disturbances. We consider two cases, namely the coordinated attitude control with actuator healthy and actuator bias faults. The adaptive sliding mode coordinated control laws are proposed and analyzed. By applying Lyapunov stability theory, it is proved that system is finite-time stable and attitude synchronization can be achieved. © 2018 IEEE.

Population stratification is an significant issue in both rare variant and common variant association analysis. Failure to correctly account for the bias caused by population stratification will lead to spurious association in structured population. In the present paper, we proposed a PC-based local polynomial regression (PC-lpr) method to correct population stratification for both rare variant and common variant association test. Furthermore, we compare the PC-lpr method with the methods Uncorrected, GC, PC-linear and PC-nonp in simulation studies. Simulation results suggest that the PC-lpr method outperforms other methods in the adjustment of population stratification. We also find that the PC-lpr method has higher power in the most situations. © VDE VERLAG GMBH · Berlin · Offenbach.

This paper investigates containment control problem for a class of nonlinear multi-agent systems with multiple dynamic leaders,where the condition of zero control input for leader is not *** dynamics of the each subsystem are assumed to be unknown and are estimated using neural networks.A local observer is used to estimate the states and an observer-based neural network controller is designed to guarantee that followers converge to the convex hull spanned by the *** simulations are finally given to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.

The problem of group consensus is considered for a class of discrete-time heterogeneous multi-agent systems in this paper. Due to unavailable agents' states, a distributed protocol based on the state-observer is designed. By getting rid of a conservation condition of in-degree balance which widely exists in relevant results, a necessary and sufficient condition of group consensus is established for discrete-time heterogeneous multi-agent systems. In the end, a numerical example demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed theoretical result.

Global Exponential Stability Criteria for Proportional Delay High-Order Neural Networks: A Hyper-Exponential Stability Technique

A new method is presented for stability analysis of proportional delay high-order neural networks. The network model is first transformed into a system with a constant time delay and unbounded time-varying coefficients, and then it is proven that the former is globally exponentially stable if and only if the laster is globally hyper-exponentially stable. The global hyper-exponential stability criteria of the laster are investigated by employing the generalized Halanay inequality and constructing a novel Lyapunov function that can avoid the computation of upper-right derivative. From which, the global exponential stability criteria of the former are derived. To illustrate the advantages of this proposed method, numerical simulation examples are given. Compared with the existing results, the contributions of this paper lie in: (i) An Lyapunov function different from ones in literature is constructed; (ii) The derived global exponential stability criteria possess simple forms, which are easy to verify; and (iii) The concept of hyper-exponential stability is proposed. The proposed method is also available to multi-proportional delay neural networks.

In this article, the state estimation issue is addressed for a class of genetic regulatory networks with discrete and leakage delays. The main purpose is to calculate and complete the system state information through the significant measurement outputs. Firstly, the original nonlinear error system is translated into a linearly uncertain one by applying the Lagrange's Mean-Value Theorem. Secondly, a sufficient condition is established to ensure the robust asymptotic stability of error system by resorting to Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, convex combination technique, Jensen's inequality, linear matrix inequality combined with Barbalat's lemma. Meantime, the state observer gains are derived in term of the feasible solutions to inequalities. Finally, a group of numerical examples are given to verify the effect of leakage delay on system stability and the effectiveness of the devised state observer.

This paper investigates the problem of the robust stability analysis of linear uncertain discrete-time systems with multiple delays. For this end, we first introduce the concept of Lyapunov matrix which based on the fundamental matrix of the corresponding nominal systems. At the same time, the existence and uniqueness of Lyapunov matrix can be promised when the nominal system is exponentially stable. Furthermore, by constructing Lyapunov matrix-based Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional,the sufficient condition of robust exponential stability for the considered systems is proposed. Finally, a numerical example illustrates the validity of the obtained results.

This paper addresses the problem of reachable set estimation for switched genetic regulatory networks with mixed delays and bounded disturbances. A delay-dependent sufficient condition is investigated to guarantee that the reachable set of genetic regulatory networks under consideration is contained within a Cartesian product of two polytopes or spheres. The sufficient condition involves only some simple inequalities, which can be easily verified by using the usual tool software. A numerical example is given to present that the proposed method is effective. Compared with the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method that has been used in many literature, the proposed method have two advantages: (i) No Lyapunov- Krasovskii functional is required; and (ii) Less computational complexity is involved.

The detection of gene-environment (GE) interactions is very important for dealing with complex diseases. Although some methods have been proposed to detect the interactions between genes and the environment, however, in the case of rare variants, these methods are limited. In this paper, we extend the existing ADA method and proposed a combined strategy (i-ADA) to identify the gene-environment interaction for rare variants. Firstly, we use Levene test to test the equality of variances under different sites. Secondly, based on the first-sep P-values and combined with the ADA method, we design a novel interaction test. Finally, we use the GAW17 dataset to illustrate the practicality of the proposed method.

In this paper, we study the stability analysis of stochastic genetic regulatory networks with interval time-varying delays. At first, we develop a new inequality to deal with multiple integrals with stochastic terms. Then, based on the suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and linear matrix inequalities, a delay-dependent and delay-rate-dependent mean square asymptotic stability criterion is derived. Finally, it is shown that the proposed method is effective and feasible through a numerical example. © 2018 IEEE.
