Multimodal emotion recognition has great application scenarios in the field of human-computer interaction, and the main task lies in how to capture and handle the consistency and complementarity of multimodal signals. However, in numerous scenarios, multimodal fusion is significantly challenged by variances in the strengths and weaknesses of different modality signals in carrying emotional information. This paper aims to learn the essential information of strong modalities and inter-modality correlations thus achieving better emotion recognition. We propose an adaptive multimodal emotion recognition framework based on collaborative discriminative learning (AMCDL), a framework for emotion recognition that engages in collaborative learning and adjusts to the information-processing capabilities of various emotion recognition models. AMCDL calculates the inter-modality correlation using Canonical Correlation analysis (CCA) and uses it as an influencing factor to boost the multiplicative combination method to create a class loss function. When trained on several modalities, the class loss function can integrate complementary information to enable strong modal expression, enhancing emotion perception. On the benchmark dataset CMU-MOSI, AMCDL significantly improves classification accuracy when compared to the state-of-the-art models. The experiments showed the flexibility and generality of AMCDL by applying several emotion recognition models to it and producing better classification results than the original model.

Unavailable time aware scheduling of hybrid task on heterogeneous distributed system

The resource allocation for tasks in heterogeneous distributed system is a well known NP-hard problem. For the sake of making the makespan is minimized, it is hard to distribute the tasks to proper processors. The problem is even more complex and challenging when the processors have unavailable time and the tasks type are various. This paper investigates a resource allocation problem for hybrid tasks comprising both divisible and bag-of-tasks(BoT) in heterogeneous distributed system when the processors has unavailable time. First, the mathematical model, which minimizes the makespan of the hybrid tasks when the processors have unavailable time, is established. Second, we propose a scheduling algorithm referred to as bag-of-tasks allocate-pull and divisible task allocation (BoTAPDTA) algorithm for handling hybrid tasks on heterogeneous distributed systems. In addition, to solving the optimization model efficiently, a generic algorithm(GA) is proposed. For the sake of reducing the search space and solving the optimization model effectively, a two step scheduling algorithm(TSGA), which first allocate bag-of-tasks(BoT) using generic algorithm and then assign divisible task to processors like BoTAPDTA, is designed. Finally, numerical simulation experiments are conducted, and experimental results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm. © 2020.

Robot manipulator control is a complicated multi-tasking problem in reality. It includes not only basic tracking task, but also additional tasks, such as conquering joint angle limits, posture control. However, most existing works only consider the goal of tracking and formulate it as single-layered time-variant problems, which leads to impracticality. In this work, robot manipulator control problem is formulated as four-layered time-variant equations including linear, nonlinear equalities and inequalities. Each layer formulates one subtask: The first layer of nonlinear equality describes basic tracking task based on forward kinematics;The second layer and third layer are inequalities, which describe joint angle upper and lower limits;The last layer is a linear equality with respect to joint angle velocity, which could be designed by user to describe other task, such as posture control. To solve this complicated four-layered time-variant problem, it is converted as single-layered equation based on the zeroing neural dynamics method. Then, continuous-time solution is proposed. Furthermore, discrete-time algorithm is proposed based on a third-order time-discretization formula and continuous-time solution. Numerical experiments illustrate the effectiveness and superiority compared to existing work. © 2021 IEEE.

Taking a military operation as an example, this paper makes an in-depth study of what tactics a single UAV should adopt when facing the interception of multiple enemy UAV groups. According to the analysis of the impact diagram, the aerial range of the UAV standoff defines a threat area, that is, when the UAV arrives at the threat area, it needs to adopt a strategy for penetration, or it will be intercepted. The strategy adopted by UAV in the threat area is analyzed, and the decision control method is made.

The traditional association rule representation method has no way to show the essential relationship between concepts and lacks understanding of the concept level. Concept lattice is a kind of data structure which can show the relationship between concepts, concept lattice also has unique advantages in the visualization and discovery of potential knowledge of association rules. In this paper, a visualization algorithm of association rules based on concept lattice is proposed. The algorithm visually displays the association rules extracted from concept lattice. Finally, this article combines the chronic disease record data of a certain hospital to analyze and visualize the association rules. The implementation results show that the visualization method has good effects in knowledge analysis and data display.

With the development of 5G, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence (AI) technology, cloud game has become a hotspot about application and innovation of Gigabit bandwidth. With the continuous expansion of the application field of multi-mode synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system, which can satisfy different imaging demands. In order to get SAR image, it is necessary to image the echo received by multi-mode SAR system. However, the huge computation of the imaging algorithm affects the processing efficiency of SAR system. The power of Graphics processing Unit (GPU) can suffice the increasing demands in processing, which has been used in many common areas. The acceleration effect of GPU is very obvious compared with Central processing Unit (CPU) platform. This paper proposed a Chirp Scaling acceleration algorithm based on GPU for multi-mode SAR, and comparison of computational time over traditional CPU and GPU platform. The experimental results shows that the GPU accelerated SAR imaging algorithm can achieve a good acceleration effect. © 2020 Institution of Engineering and Technology. All rights reserved.

Phenophase period refers to the periodic natural phenomena of plants under the influence of environmental factors and human activities. In recent years, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) has been used to growth monitoring of crops. Due to complex morphological changes at different growth stage of crops, single-phase SAR data unable provide sufficient information to analyze scattering characteristics at different phenological period. In this paper, the scattering characteristics of winter wheat are studied, using time series dual-polarization Sentinel-1A SAR images. And winter wheat planting region in Kaifeng city henan Province is selected as the study area. Time series C-band radar backscatter coefficient is extracted, then analyze correlation between numerical evolution and phenological change with different polarization data. The variation trend is verified by field measured data. The results show that dual-polarization SAR image is great practical significance for winter wheat phenological monitoring. © 2020 Institution of Engineering and Technology. All rights reserved.

Aiming at the problem of the interfere of winter wheat on radar backscattering coefficient in surface soil moisture inversion, a new vegetation index called Fusion Vegetation Index (FVI) is defined in this study. Based on the Multi-Spectral Imager (MSI) data of Sentinel-2, and the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data of Sentinel-1, using FVI to retrieve water content of winter wheat, combined with Water Cloud model, the interference of winter wheat in soil moisture inversion was reduced. The results show that good soil moisture retrieval results can be obtained by combining with FVI. © 2020 Institution of Engineering and Technology. All rights reserved.

Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Systems can be used for discovery and surveillance. According to the current requirements, accurate ship detection is becoming more and more important. However, the accuracy of traditional ship detection algorithm is not satisfying in complex scene. As a consequence, this paper proposes a novel method for detecting ships within SAR imagery using Gabor feature and Two Parameter Constant False Alarm Rate (2P-CFAR) detection technique. First, feature extraction was performed by using Gabor filter. Then, combined with the extracted orientation feature, the ship recognition of SAR image is obtained by 2P-CFAR detector. Finally, false alarms among the candidate targets were removed by geometric features of the ships. To prove the rationality of this method, experiments were carried with two high-resolution Gaofen-3 satellite SAR images in open sea background. The experimental results show that the presented method has preferable performance in the accuracy of ship identification. © 2020 Institution of Engineering and Technology. All rights reserved.
