At present, the research object of fault diagnosis focuses on single fault diagnosis. This method of diagnosis does not consider the relationship between mechanical equipment faults, and cannot fully identify the type of fault. In the actual industrial process, mechanical equipment is mostly complex system, and compound fault diagnosis is more in line with industrial needs. In order to solve the problem of compound fault diagnosis of mechanical equipment and improve the accuracy of fault identification, this paper establishes a compound fault diagnosis model for gearbox by means of multi-task learning, uses multi-gated networks to extract features from the task sharing layer, and finally classifies the fault through the task specific *** experimental results show that, the compound fault diagnosis method based on Multi-task Learning with Multi-gate Mixture-of-Experts (ML-MMoE) can accurately identify compound fault types under different working conditions. © 2022 IEEE

In smart factories, the wide application of a variety of intelligent manufacturing devices and advanced sensors leads to the increasing demand for data exchange between different devices. In order to realize the flexible forwarding of multi-source manufacturing data in heterogeneous networks and the optimal utilization of network resources, in this article, we combined smartphone manufacturing scenarios, referred to the data flow reconstruction algorithm in related documents, analyzed the high dynamics of the data flow and proposed a data flow reconstruction algorithm based on routing-protocol, according to the particularity of different data forwarding and processing procedures, redesigned and defined the data flow in the scene. Finally, the results of Mininet simulation experiments showed that our proposed algorithm reduces the average transmission delay. © 2022 IEEE

Edge computing has been getting a momentum with ever-increasing data at the edge of the network. In particular, huge amounts of video data and their real-time processing requirements have been increasingly hindering the traditional cloud computing approach due to high bandwidth consumption and high latency. Edge computing in essence aims to overcome this hindrance by processing most video data making use of edge servers, such as small-scale on-premises server clusters, server-grade computing resources at mobile base stations and even mobile devices like smartphones and tablets;hence, the term edge-based video analytics. However, the actual realization of such analytics requires more than the simple, collective use of edge servers. In this paper, we survey state-of-the-art works on edge-based video analytics with respect to applications, architectures, techniques, resource management, security and privacy. We provide a comprehensive and detailed review on what works, what doesn't work and why. These findings give insights and suggestions for next generation edge-based video analytics. Anomaly detection refers to the identification of data objects that deviate from the general data distribution. One of the important challenges in anomaly detection is handling high-dimensional data, especially when it contains a large number of redundant attributes. Although traditional Isolation Forest (iForest) and Extended Isolation Forest (EIF) have performed well in anomaly detection, the detection accuracy is still extremely influenced by redundant attributes. In this paper, we propose a two-tier architecture named RS-EIF, to alleviate the negative impact of redundant attributes. Specifically, the RS-EIF combines the rough set theory and EIF algorithm and provides an effective basis for the EIF-based anomaly detection method by removing redundant attributes with rough set theory. Experimental results show that the RS-EIF algorithm performs better than the iForest and EIF algorithms in terms of anomaly detection rate, and the results of the combination of rough set theory and EIF are more prominent compared to the other combination methods.

Knowledge Graph (KG) is an essential research direction that involves storing and managing knowledge data, but its incompleteness and sparsity hinder its development in various applications. Knowledge Graph Reasoning (KGR) is an effective method to solve this limitation via reasoning missing knowledge based on existing knowledge. The graph Convolution Network (GCN) based method is one of the state-of-the-art approaches to this work. However, there are still some problems, such as the insufficient ability to perceive graph structure and the poor effect of learning data features which may limit the reasoning accuracy. This paper proposes a KGR architecture based on a graph sequence generator and multi-head self-attention mechanism, named GaM-KGR, to improve the above problems and enhance prediction accuracy. Specifically, the GaM-KGR first introduces the graph generation model into the field of KGR for graph representation learning to obtain the hidden features in the data so that enhancing the reasoning effect and then embeds the generated graph sequence into the multi-head self-attention mechanism for subsequent processing to improve the graph structure perception ability of the proposed architecture, so that it can process the graph structure data more appropriately. Extensive experimental results show that the GaM-KGR architecture can achieve the state-of-the-art prediction results of current GCN-based models.

Class incremental learning (CIL) aims to recognize both the old and new classes along the increment tasks. Deep neural networks in CIL suffer from catastrophic forgetting and some approaches rely on saving exemplars from previous tasks, known as the exemplar-based setting, to alleviate this problem. On the contrary, this paper focuses on the Exemplar-Free setting with no old class sample preserved. Balancing the plasticity and stability in deep feature learning with only supervision from new classes is more challenging. Most existing Exemplar-Free CIL methods report the overall performance only and lack further analysis. In this work, different methods are examined with complementary metrics in greater detail. Moreover, we propose a simple CIL method, Rotation Augmented Distillation (RAD), which achieves one of the top-tier performances under the Exemplar-Free setting. Detailed analysis shows our RAD benefits from the superior balance between plasticity and stability. Finally, more challenging exemplar-free settings with fewer initial classes are undertaken for further demonstrations and comparisons among the state-of-the-art methods. As medical insurance continues to grow in size, the losses caused by medical insurance fraud cannot be underestimated. Current data mining and predictive techniques have been applied to analyze and explore the health insurance fraud population. However, previous studies only provide summary results and do not show the details of comparative analysis during the visit, resulting in the inability of auditors to quickly identify anomalous behavior. In this paper, we propose a visual analytics system for interactive medical insurance fraud detection to support the exploration and interpretation of different access processes. We propose a weighted MinDL to improve the accuracy of visit pattern classification in the time-series modeling process, and design a data analysis model and visual analysis view based on medical insurance fraud characteristics to reveal and explore the characteristics of medical insurance fraud groups. We collaborate with related organizations to design and implement an interactive visualization for medical insurance fraud group detection using real Medicare data and expert interviews The system is effective and practical in detecting and analyzing medical insurance fraud syndicates. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Addr-Net: Attention Mechanism-Based Dual-Stream Deformable Medical Image Registration Network

Medical image registration is crucial for tumor growth monitoring, radiation therapy, and disease diagnosis. Recently, U-Net type networks have become widely used in unsupervised image registration to predict dense deformation fields. However, for image data with large deformations, these networks are prone to interference from outliers and task-irrelevant regions, leading to suboptimal registration accuracy and difficulty in maintaining the continuity of the deformation field. To address this issue, we propose a novel model called ADDR-Net. ADDR-Net leverages dual encoders and incorporates a Cross-Perceptual Attention Module (CPA) alongside a Multi-dimensional Attention Module (MDA) to enhance registration. Unlike traditional methods that concatenate fixed and moving images into a single encoder, ADDR-Net uses dual encoders to separately extract features from each image, facilitating explicit feature matching between image pairs. The CPA module, embedded within the encoder, enhances the extraction of global features over long distances. Meanwhile, the MDA module, embedded within the skip connection, filters redundant features and extracts local refined features, thereby improving the U-shaped network architecture. Experimental results demonstrate that ADDR-Net outperforms state-of-the-art methods. Specifically, compared to the Transformer-based TransMorph method, ADDR-Net increases the Dice scores on two publicly available brain datasets, IXI and OASIS, by 1.4% and 3.5%, respectively. © 2024, The Authors. Dynamic Residual Classifier for Class Incremental Learning

The rehearsal strategy is widely used to alleviate the catastrophic forgetting problem in class incremental learning (CIL) by preserving limited exemplars from previous tasks. With imbalanced sample numbers between old and new classes, the classifier learning can be biased. Existing CIL methods exploit the long-tailed (LT) recognition techniques, e.g., the adjusted losses and the data re-sampling methods, to handle the data imbalance issue within each increment task. In this work, the dynamic nature of data imbalance in CIL is shown and a novel Dynamic Residual Classifier (DRC) is proposed to handle this challenging scenario. Specifically, DRC is built upon a recent advance residual classifier with the branch layer merging to handle the model-growing problem. Moreover, DRC is compatible with different CIL pipelines and substantially improves them. Combining DRC with the model adaptation and fusion (MAF) pipeline, this method achieves state-of-the-art results on both the conventional CIL and the LT-CIL benchmarks.
