highway tunnels are more prone to traffic accidents than open highways, and the analysis of the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of traffic accidents in long downhill tunnel sections of mountain highways can provide a clearer understanding of the changing characteristics of different accidents, so as to enhance the safety management of the long downhill section of mountain road. In this paper, the accident data information is processed by SPSS. According to the processed data, we analyze the time and place where traffic accidents are prone to occur in two dimensions, analyze the reasons and put forward suggestions for improvement, which is of great significance to improve the safety of the tunnel section of mountain highway. © 2023 ACM.

Incubation Temperature Effect on Bacterial Self-Healing Capabilities of Cementitious Mortar Cracks: Deep Learning Based Crack Sealing Rates Evaluations

Successful implementation of microbial self-healing cementitious materials requires the provision of a suitable incubation environment, which activates the bacteria to produce calcium carbonate sealing the cracks. Affecting microbial mineralization, incubation temperature determines the self-healing efficiency of microbial cement which limits its widespread application. To investigate the effect of incubation temperature on the self-healing abilities, laboratory experiments were conducted on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber reinforced cement mortar impregnated with Sporosarcina pasteurii. The mortar specimens were initially cracked by three point bending to generate 0.4 mm width cracks at the bottom and then incubated for 30 days at ambient temperatures of 20 ◦C, 25 ◦C, 30 ◦C, and 35 ◦C. The cracks were inspected regularly which were further analyzed via deep learning to evaluate the crack healing ratio and sealing rate. The cracks failed to completely repair at 20 ◦C, while cracks at 30 ◦C requires only 4 days to seal. The crack healing rate accelerated with increasing temperature from 20 ◦C to 30 ◦C, exhibiting a trend of initial increase followed by decrease across all temperatures. The bacterial-repaired mortar specimens exhibited a recovery in flexural strength, with a regained strength ratio of approximately 7.184% at 30 ◦C. Supported by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD), the results revealed that the higher temperature actives larger particle CaCO3 with mainly vaterite and some calcite morphology. The interaction mechanism of temperature effect on bacterial self-healing capabilities was revealed by the comprehensive assessment between the microbial activity, crack width evolution and mechanical performance. This paper may shed some light on the engineering application of microbial cementitious material resilient infrastructures with desirable healing efficiency under real ambient temperatures during service. © 2024, The Authors. For quality-assured information engineering software assessment has become critical. Software quality is defined as all the features and proprieties of a software system that can meet certain criteria to test a software product to know how good it is. Software testing is a necessary process for software development, and automating data production helps reduce time and expense. The design of software tests in today's industry is mostly focused on the experience of the experts, while the tools for test automation can be used only for pre-planned tests. The new investigation focuses on the safe, accurate and effective discriminatory regression testing. A selective algorithm for regression testing is considered secure and sound if the disclosing of test cases is not ignored. Precision that tests the sum of the algorithm moving through the test cases without alteration. The successful selection of these cases is one of the key issues in regression testing. Due to the utility of selective regression testing, an efficient algorithm is important due to the speed of test case selection. We use a formal language approach in this article, to explain the problems and to give tentative solutions. For the test case selection problem, we find the genetic algorithm. We demonstrate that this genetic algorithm that satisfies both secure and reliable standards take time and time in general exponentially. In addition, a secure algorithm requires the most severe case of O (n2) time and Ont) (location, in which n is as many statements as possible, and t is as many test cases as possible. © 2021 institute of Physics Publishing. Turbo jet is one of the most important components of jet plane. Improving the performances of the engine has always been a prime concern of engineers. It is clearly essential to identify the structure and aerodynamic characteristics of engine to maximize the performances of it. This paper presents an investigation of tip clearance and fillet radius parameter on aerodynamic performances of a multi-stage axial compressor using three-dimensional (3-D) Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with the k-ω SST model. A numerical validation was tested to. Two geometric parameters of a multi-stage axial compressor with tip clearance for only rotor blades and fillet radius for both of rotor and stator blades were investigated in this research to demonstrate the effect on total pressure ratio, adiabatic efficiency, stall margin. The numerical results showed that the adiabatic efficiency increases with a decrease of tip clearance, whereas radius fillet doesn’t affect the aerodynamic characteristic. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Sustainable energy sources and efficient energy management methods are essential for carbon-neutral construction. Utilizing electric car capability is one option when sources cannot meet demand. Investment in charging facilities and electric cars is a necessary first step towards expanding vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, as is the acceptance that it is effective. The proprietor of an electronic car will profit financially from installing a recharge station, and the contractor will receive a reward. This report details a successful V2G approach designed and deployed on a fully functional college campus. In addition, a machine learning method has been developed to estimate future energy use and expenses for the studied structure. The created algorithm's precision in estimating energy usage ranged from 93% to 97%, with an average mistake in expense estimates of less than 7%. The findings indicate a 37% reduction in energy usage, with a possibility for savings of 68% if consistently the plan is implemented, demonstrating that the machine learning method helps lower emissions.

Statistics Extraction and Integration from unstructured EHRs pose a giant venture in healthcare. Unstructured EHRs derive much of their cost from the substantial amounts of facts that they contain. However, these records are saved in a ramification of formats, making extracting and integrating with other facts resources difficult. Tons of the existing generation for extracting and integrating unstructured facts is confined by scientific understanding, natural language processing (NLP) techniques, and the capability to discover sequence editions in the records. For instance, that allows you to correctly pick out patterns in an affected person's health records; NLP algorithms must pick out essential medical concepts in free-text descriptions within the EHRs. Additionally, sequence editions, which could range appreciably in period and complexity, require unique interest to discover the correct diagnostic codes appropriately.

With the application of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) in the field of transportation and energy, operation efficiency, dynamic response quality and stability of PEMFC are increasingly required. The problems of decoupling control of air pressure and flow under the changing load and surge of air compressor seriously limit the efficient and safe application of PEMFC. To solve these problems, a novel feedback linearization sliding mode decoupling and fuzzy anti-surge compensation based coordinated control approach for PEMFC air supply system is proposed. Firstly, the net output power of PEMFC system is analyzed, and the optimal operating points of different load currents, namely the optimal references of oxygen excess ratio (OER) and cathode air pressure, are calculated. Then, an extended state observer is designed to estimate the cathode pressure in real time, a feedback linearization sliding mode based decoupling controller is designed to enhance OER and pressure tracking control performance and robustness. A fuzzy logic based anti-surge compensator is designed to prevent air compressor from surge by compensating PEMFC cathode air flow and pressure. The proposed control approach is is implemented in PEMFC air supply control experiments and the results demonstrates its effectiveness. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

There is abundance of resume builder tools used to design the resume of the job seeker in the simplest way but still their resume cannot get shortlisted. By keeping this in mind so many professionals are still working on it to build the resume in the smartest way. In our proposed system, we have designed a prototype which uses the voice of the jobseeker. We have proposed a desktop application in which user is not responsible for resume format rather the application interacts with user like an assistant and collects the data from the user using voice. Our tool is based on Speech-To-Text (STT) and Text-To-Speech (TTS) and other APIs which we will discuss in the paper. © 2021 IEEE.

Assessing the impact of river water on concrete properties is an important aspect of the construction industry, especially in regions with significant exposure to riverine environments, like Bangladesh. This study investigated the applicability of river water in concrete manufacturing regarding its compressive strength and density. Water samples were collected from two major rivers (the Padma and the Shitalakshya) in Bangladesh and analyzed for thirty water quality parameters. 168-cylinder specimens were cast and tested for compressive strength after curing for 7, 14, and 28 days. The investigation was also carried out with two different coarse aggregates (brick and stone chips) in the mix design. Curing was performed with fresh and river water separately. Therefore, ten different experimental conditions were explored. The compressive strength of concrete using river water compared to freshwater decreased from 0 to 24%, except for three cases, where strength increased by 4.2%, 7.3%, and 8%. The variation in water quality between the two rivers significantly influenced the reduction in compressive strength. higher values of pH, total suspended solids, total solids, ammonia, total hardness, alkalinity, and conductivity in the Padma River water led to a greater reduction in compressive strength than using the Shitalakshya River water. The type of coarse aggregate used also had an impact on strength. Both rivers’ water met the concrete production standards; nevertheless, a pre-treatment process is recommended. Successfully using river water in concrete production could reduce the demand for freshwater resources, contributing to the construction industry’s sustainability.
