PTS algorithm is an effective method to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio of OFDM system. However, it needs a special channel to transmit side information. So, grouped phase control method based on PTS technology has been proposed to improve it. In order to replace the PTS side information, the new algorithm inserted phase control coding sequences into grouped sub-carries at the transmitter, and at the same time it used pseudorandom sequence mapping method to group these subcarriers. At the receiver, phase rotation factors of every subcarrier were correctly recognized by the inserted phase control information. The new method simplified PTS-OFDM system construction, saved frequency resource and reduced bit error rate. Simulation results showed that new algorithm could not only enhance the reliability of the system, but also could improve peak-to-average power ratio performance. © 2011 IEEE.

This paper proposes that we can improve the accuracy of the distance between ZigBee with the algorithm of BP neural network. Firstly, we analyze the wireless signaling path loss model, the principle of measuring distance based on RSSI, and the algorithm of BP neural network fully. Secondly, we get the experimental data from the hardware platform of ZigBee. Finally, we use the algorithm of BP neural network to emulate and analyze the experimental data. Based on the results of the emulation and analysis, the maximum error of the distance prediction within 120m is 7.62%, with the prediction accuracy improved significantly. © 2011 IEEE.

There are characteristics of high noise, big attenuation, the big impedance variation and the uneven frequency response on low-voltage power line channel. Firstly, this paper proposes the combination the adaptive technology with the OFDM technology to realize the reliable and high-speed data transmission channel. It is a key to study the channel estimation of the OFDM technology and the channel allocation of the adaptive technology. Then, we put forward to the algorithm of comb-type pilots Unscented Kalman Filter, and we use the time-frequency domain estimation algorithm to improve the channel estimation accuracy. Lastly, we take the improving particle swarm algorithm to solve the problem of the channel allocation and the bit allocation, realize the sub-carrier bits and the power allocation in multiuser adaptive OFDM system, save running time, reduce the transmitted power and enhancing the efficiency of spectrum. © 2011 IEEE.

A data fusion algorithm was established for estimating the state of target tracking system with multi-type sensor. Through Kalman filter regarding the multi-sensors to computer goal estimated value, it can obtain estimation value of goal at moment. And mean square deviation of fusion estimation value was smaller than single sensor's mean square deviation. The simulation results indicated that synchronisms data fusion method was effective to the multi-target tracking problem. Asynchronous multi-sensor fusion process can obtain good control effect in the practice control process. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

A distance measuring system based ultrasonic sensors and infrared sensors was presented. It can real-time handle sensor information. And through date fusion, the obstacles in the environment can be detected. This can be used to model the environment for mobile robot's path planning and other tasks. Experiment was shown that the system can be complementary in function of multi-sensor, while providing more accurate distance information. © 2011 IEEE.

The objectives of this study were to investigate the measurement methodology of the protein content in skimmed milk by laser light scattering(LLS). There was a definition that the ratio of the scattering light(at 90°scattering angles, relative to the incident beam direction) intensity to the transmitted light intensity, which was called scattered transmitted ratio(STR). Using the STR theory, we constructed a sensing system to measure the protein content. The sensing system contains a laser beam of 658nm wavelength, sample reservoir and two photodiodes which measure the scattered light and transmitted light respectively. Through data analysis, the relationship model was established between the protein content and the STR. Comparing with Kjeldahl determination of nitrogen, the STR method described in this study can also accurately measure the protein content. © 2011 IEEE.

A frequency stabilization control system based on confocal F-P interferometer for semiconductor lasers is introduced to realize a stable frequency output. The system consists of the MCU MSP430, F-P confocal interferometer, current control and temperature control system. Giving an audio scanning voltage to the interferometer can make the laser power modulation. Then frequency offset can be got with the Lock-in Amplifier. Through the work of the servo system controls the working temperature and drive current of laser, frequency stability can be achieved. This method is not only simple in structure, but not band limit, and the frequency stabilization reaches 10 -8. © 2011 IEEE.

With the development of the gear measurement technology, there are more and more profile error measuring methods. In this paper, using measuring theory of profile error of gear measuring center, we study the rectangular coordinate measuring method of profile error. The eccentricity error is processed by the coordinate transformation and Least Squares. The experimental results show that the method is feasible and eccentric error is effectively compensated. © 2011 IEEE.

Aiming at the low utilization rate of SPWM voltage, numerous harmonics, and complex structure of general space voltage vector SVPWM(space vector pulse width modulation), an improved SVPWM system is designed in this paper. In our design, two orthogonal sinusoidal input voltage Ux and Uy are processed with simple addition and subtraction, as well as logic operations to determine the sector of the synthetic vector, and the action times of basal synthetic vector in this sector can be gotten by looking up a table. By means of the MATlab./ simulink platform, the functions of each module are achieved, and SVPWM simulation is completed. Simulation results have shown that system design is correct and response is fast. © 2011 IEEE.
