Deepfake detection has gained increasing research attention in media forensics, and a variety of works have been produced. However, subtle artifacts might be eliminated by compression, and the convolutional neural networks (CNNs)-based detectors are invalidated for fake face images with compression. In this work, we propose a two-stream network for deepfake detection. We observed that high-frequency noise features and spatial features are inherently complementary to each other. Thus, both spatial features and high-frequency noise features are exploited for face forgery detection. Specifically, we design a double-frequency transformer module (DFTM) to guide the learning of spatial features from local artifact regions. To effectively fuse spatial features and high-frequency noise features, a dual-domain attention fusion module (DDAFM) is designed. We also introduce a local relationship constraint loss, which requires only image-level labels, for model training. We evaluate the proposed approach on five large-scale benchmark datasets, and extensive experimental results demonstrate the proposed approach outperforms most SOTA works. © 2024 IEEE.

Fake Face Detection Based on Fusion of Spatial Texture and High-Frequency Noise

The rapid development of the Internet has led to the widespread dissemination of manipulated facial images, significantly impacting people's daily lives. With the continuous advancement of Deepfake technology, the generated counterfeit facial images have become increasingly challenging to distinguish. There is an urgent need for a more robust and convincing detection method. Current detection methods mainly operate in the spatial domain and transform the spatial domain into other domains for analysis. With the emergence of transformers, some researchers have also combined traditional convolutional networks with transformers for detection. This paper explores the artifacts left by Deepfakes in various domains and, based on this exploration, proposes a detection method that utilizes the steganalysis rich model to extract high-frequency noise to complement spatial features. We have designed two main modules to fully leverage the interaction between these two aspects based on traditional convolutional neural networks. The first is the multi-scale mixed feature attention module, which introduces artifacts from high-frequency noise into spatial textures, thereby enhancing the model's learning of spatial texture features. The second is the multi-scale channel attention module, which reduces the impact of background noise by weighting the features. Our proposed method was experimentally evaluated on mainstream datasets, and a significant amount of experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in detecting Deepfake forged faces, outperforming the majority of existing methods.

Web services have been integrated with all walks of life in society. Abnormalities in the network and services seriously affect user experience and company revenue. The system log records various information of the system, and the information-rich log messages usually show different anomalies. It is particularly important to accurately and timely identify the anomalies of the log messages and classify the anomalies. In addition, most of the current existing work only detects anomalies and does not classify them, and a few existing works require anomaly labels to classify anomalies. Based on these potential challenges, we propose an unsupervised hypersphere-based log message anomaly detection and classification method, LogADCH. We use the hypersphere loss function to let the BERT model learn compact representations of log messages and perform anomaly detection. Finally, K-Means clustering is performed on the semantic feature vectors detected as anomalies to form clusters of different types of anomalies. Compared with other works, LogADCH further classifies the abnormal types after detecting the abnormal logs, helping the operation and maintenance personnel to quickly locate the fault. We compare our method with other methods on two public datasets, and the experimental results show that LogADCH has superior performance in anomaly detection as well as anomaly classification. © 2023 IEEE.

Increasingly complex systems contain large numbers of devices that generate great number of multivariate time series that are monitored and recorded. For anomaly detection of these complex time series, deep learning technology is often used to build a learning model for anomaly detection. The method based on deep learning usually takes a long time to train data in practice, and the online service system is deployed or changed very frequently, which makes the online service system need to frequently spend a lot of time updating the anomaly detection model. To overcome this challenge, this paper proposes a fast multivariate time series anomaly detection (FMAD) approach based on matrix completion. After sampling the primitive low-rank matrix, FMAD uses matrix completion to reconstruct the original low-rank matrix to detect anomalies in multivariate time series. We conducted related experimental analysis and discussion. The experimental results on three real data sets show that FMAD has improved the problem of too long model training time and improved the detection efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

Recently,Siamese-based trackers have achieved excellent performance in object ***,the high speed and deformation of objects in the movement process make tracking ***,we have incorporated cascaded region-proposal-network(RPN)fusion and coordinate attention into Siamese *** proposed network framework consists of three parts:a feature-extraction sub-network,coordinate attention block,and cascaded RPN *** exploit the coordinate attention block,which can embed location information into channel attention,to establish long-term spatial location dependence while maintaining channel ***,the features of different layers are enhanced by the coordinate attention *** then send these features separately into the cascaded RPN for classification and *** to the two classification and regression results,the final position of the target is *** verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,we conducted comprehensive experiments on the OTB100,VOT2016,UAV123,and GOT-10k *** with other state-of-the-art trackers,the proposed tracker achieved good performance and can run at real-time speed.

We study the partial search order problem (PSOP) proposed recently by Scheffler [WG 2022]. Given a graph G together with a partial order on the set of vertices of G, this problem determines if there is an S-ordering that is consistent with the given partial order, where S is a graph search paradigm like BFS, DFS, etc. This problem naturally generalizes the end-vertex problem which has received much attention over the past few years. It also generalizes the so-called F-tree recognition problem which has just been studied in the literature recently. Our main contribution is a polynomial-time dynamic programming algorithm for the PSOP of the maximum cardinality search (MCS) restricted to chordal graphs. This resolves one of the most intriguing open questions left in the work of Scheffler [WG 2022]. To obtain our result, we propose the notion of layer structure and study numerous related structural properties which might be of independent interest. © Guozhen Rong, Yongjie Yang, and Wenjun Li

Recently,object detection based on convolutional neural networks(CNNs)has developed *** backbone networks for basic feature extraction are an important component of the whole detection ***,we present a new feature extraction strategy in this paper,which name is *** this strategy,we design:1)a sandwich attention feature fusion module(SAFF module).Its purpose is to enhance the semantic information of shallow features and resolution of deep features,which is beneficial to small object detection after feature fusion.2)to add a new stage called D-block to alleviate the disadvantages of decreasing spatial resolution when the pooling layer increases the receptive *** method proposed in the new stage replaces the original method of obtaining the P6 feature map and uses the result as the input of the regional proposal network(RPN).In the experimental phase,we use the new strategy to extract *** experiment takes the public dataset of Microsoft Common Objects in Context(MS COCO)object detection and the dataset of Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)image classification as the experimental object *** results show that the average recognition accuracy of COVID-19 in the classification dataset is improved to 98.163%,and small object detection in object detection tasks is improved by 4.0%.

Drug repositioning is a vital area of biomedicine, where confirming interactions between drugs and specific targets is essential for establishing the efficacy of pharmaceutical agents. Traditional in vitro screening methods have limitations, prompting the use of computer simulations as an effective alternative for predicting drug-target interactions (DTI). This approach has gained significant attention in the scientific community. In this study, we introduce MFCM-DTI, a DTI prediction model that employs multimodal features to accurately capture the intricate interactions between drug molecular structures and key amino acids of target proteins. Our results demonstrate that MFCM-DTI outperforms existing models in prediction accuracy and robustness. Furthermore, MFCM-DTI has been successfully used to predict interactions between key SARS-CoV-2 proteins and existing drugs, providing a solid foundation for developing therapeutic agents against SARS-CoV-2 infection. This study underscores the broad applicability and strong predictive capabilities of MFCM-DTI in drug-protein interaction prediction, opening new avenues for research. The predicted drug targets and interaction data offer valuable insights for future experimental validation and clinical trials, potentially driving innovation in the biomedical field. © 2024 IEEE.

Bioinformatics is a rapidly growing field that involves the application of computational methods to analyze and interpret biological data. One important task in bioinformatics is predicting the drug-target affinity (DTA), which plays a significant role in drug discovery through virtual screening. Effectively predicting the association between drug molecules and target molecules can speed up the drug discovery process. The DTA can be quantitatively measured. This quantifiable affinity is more precise than a simple binary relationship. In this study, we propose a deep learning model for DTA prediction that utilizes the encoder module of the Transformer architecture. Our proposed model utilizes Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and the encoder module of Transformer to characterize protein and drug sequences. The model outperforms some methods such as KronRLS, SimBoost and DeepDTA as evidenced by superior evaluation metrics such as Mean Squared Error (MSE), Concordance Index (CI), and Regression toward the Mean Index (rm2). These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the Transformer's encoder in extracting meaningful representations from sequences, thereby improving the accuracy of DTA prediction. Deep learning models for DTA prediction can accelerate drug discovery by identifying drug candidates with high binding affinity to specific targets. Compared to traditional methods, the use of machine learning technology enables more effective and efficient drug discovery. © 2023 IEEE.
