The Effect of Nd^(3+) Concentration on Upconversion Luminescence in Yb^(3+)/Tm^(3+)/Nd^(3+) Tripledoped b-NaGdF_(4) Nanocrystals

Nd^(3+)-doped NaGdF_(4):Yb,Tm nanocrystals were synthesized by an improved high-temperature thermal decomposition method,and the effects of doping concentrations on the crystal structure,phase composition,and upconverted fluorescence intensity were also *** results reveal that the introduction of Nd^(3+) ions does not cause the transformation of the crystal phase,but induce the change of the unit cell ***,the fluorescence intensity of the synthesized nanocrystals when co-doped with 3 mol%Nd^(3+) is the strongest under the excitation of 980 nm laser,which is 3.9 times that of the Nd^(3+)-free doped nanoparticles,and the average size is 62.9 *** it is located in the blue area of the CIE coordinate diagram,and the corresponding color purity is 91.81%under the same experimental *** resulting nanocrystals show the potential as excellent fluorescence labeling and in vivo imaging probes.

Precise estimation of Lithium-ion battery capacity is critical for the battery management system (BMS). This paper proposed an innovative method that combinates convolutional neural network and feature curves which are incremental capacity analysis (ICA) and differential thermal voltammetry (DTV). Rather than extracting feature parameters of the IC curve as done in available research, the present method uses the whole IC and DTV curves in a certain range of voltage as the input to avoid complicated annual feature extraction and correlation analysis. The result shows that the max error of capacity estimation is less than 4.46 %, the mean absolute percentage error is less than 1.29 % for each battery, and overall MAPE is below 1.19 %. © 2024 The Authors.

Both a conventional flow distributer and an improved one with a flow buffer were applied respectively during the high pressure die casting(HPDC)process,and samples of AZ91D magnesium alloy with different microstructure mainly consisting ofα-Mg grains,β-phase and porosities were *** to the grain orientation analysis,the predominant deformation behavior inα-Mg grains was dislocation slip,supplemented by deformation *** slip was more difficult to occur in the samples with the improved flow distributer on account of the fact that the size ofα-Mg grains in the microstructure was finer and more *** the in situ tensile deformation test,cracks were observed to initiate from gas-shrinkage pore and island-shrinkage,and two main crack propagation mechanisms,porosity growth and coalescence were found *** the crack was in contact with theβ-phase,it would pass through and fracture the networkβ-phase,whereas bypass the islandβ-phase by detaching it from the surroundingα-Mg *** property tests showed that the samples with relatively more homogeneous microstructure would perform higher mechanical properties,which was the combined effect of matrixα-Mg grains,β-phase,and porosities.

Metal components inevitably generate residual stress during the manufacturing process, which has a significant impact on the performance and safety of the components. This article proposes a high-precision residual stress laser ultrasonic detection method based on line source excitation & dual-point receiving. Finite element simulation models of point source and line source laser excitation ultrasonic surface waves are established, and the propagation and energy attenuation laws of surface waves under these two excitation modes are analyzed. A residual stress detection model based on line source excitation & dual-point receiving is derived, and a residual stress detection system is constructed. Taking 6061 aluminum alloy sheet as the object, the detection model was calibrated through standard tensile tests, and multiple sets of tensile tests were conducted to verify the reliability of the model. The error between the calculated value of the stress detection model and the theoretical value of the tensile test was within ± 11.57MPa. A U-shaped test block was designed to obtain the different stress distribution conditions, and residual stress detection experiments were conducted using the proposed method. The detection results accurately reflected the stress gradient distribution state of the U-shaped test block along the top center downwards, and had good consistency with the finite element simulation results. This provides a method for high-precision non-destructive testing of residual stress in metal parts. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

随着航空航天工业的迅速发展,对微型化Inconel 718薄板构件的需求越来越大。然而,晶粒尺寸显著影响金属薄板的塑性变形行为,在很大程度上限制了Inconel 718薄板构件的生产和应用。本文对不同晶粒尺寸的Inconel 718薄板进行了一系列单轴拉伸试验和扫描电镜实验,研究了晶粒尺寸对其塑性变形行为的影响。通过EBSD技术表征了晶粒尺寸、晶粒取向和晶粒平均取向偏差,阐明了晶粒尺寸效应的变形机制。研究结果表明,随着晶粒尺寸的增大,在拉伸应力作用下,晶粒旋转和协调变形机制减弱,取向转变为<232>的晶粒数量逐渐减少,从而导致屈服强度和最大抗拉强度显著降低;此外,随着晶粒尺寸的增大,晶粒内部的塑性变形明显减弱,晶界滑动逐渐成为拉伸过程中主要的变形机制,导致断裂应变减小,韧性断裂特征减弱。本文综合考虑晶粒尺寸和应变量影响,建立了能够应用于Inconel 718薄板的微成形研究的混合材料本构模型。

There are certain problems of vibration reduction and isolation relevant to the working stability of diaphragm air pumps. To make the diaphragm air pump meet the use requirements, a sandwich-constrained damping gasket is designed and prepared in this paper. The research focuses on examining the impact of varying damping layer thickness on the efficacy of damping gaskets in reducing and isolating vibrations. Meanwhile, with the increase of the damping layer thickness, the total vibration severity of the diaphragm air pump body continues to increase, indicating a weakened performance of vibration reduction, while the vibration isolation performance is gradually improved. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. The commercial deployment of unmanned vehicles remains impeded by safety concerns, with failures in the steering angle sensor (SAS) of the steer-by-wire (SBW) system posing significant risks to operational safety. This paper addresses the gaps in the existing literature regarding the analysis of the hazards associated with SAS failures and the deficiency in research on fault injection strategies during experimental validation. By conducting a thorough examination of the typical faults and their consequences in SAS, we have developed a software-based fault injection strategy for the purposes of testing the efficacy of fault-tolerant control (FTC) systems. Experimental results from a real vehicle platform confirm the validity of the proposed fault injection strategy and the robustness of the FTC system. © 2024 SPIE.

Addressing the issue of insufficient real-vehicle validation in the current research on fault-tolerant control of steer-by-wire (SBW) system sensors, an experimental platform for fault-tolerant control of unmanned vehicle SBW sensors was designed based on the Robot Operating System (ROS), Controller Area Network (CAN) communication, and serial communication. The platform was utilized to validate the effectiveness of the fault-tolerant control system for autonomous vehicle SBW sensors through experimental testing and analysis of the results. The outcomes demonstrated that the designed platform successfully accomplished various functions, including the installation and configuration of analytical redundant sensors, software fault injection, actuation of SBW, the implementation of analytical redundancy and fault-tolerant control systems. © 2024 SPIE.

The hydraulic bushing is a common vibration isolator, and its dynamic characteristics influence the ride comfort of the vehicle. Aiming at a suspension hydraulic bushing with inertia components, a one-dimensional model of the hydraulic bushing is established based on Amesim. Secondly, a parameter identification method is proposed, and the equivalent piston area of the hydraulic bushing and the diaphragm strain stiffness are identified by this method. Finally, the identified parameters are input into the Amesim model, and the data results are compared with the experimental results after processing with Matlab. The results show that the dynamic characteristic curve of the hydraulic bushing calculated by this method is consistent with the test curve and can well predict the dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic bushing with inertia elements. © 2023 Institute of Physics Publishing. Fe-doped CuCrO_(2) catalyst CuCr_(1-x)Fe_xO_(2) series were prepared by the sol-gel method with different Fe *** structure and properties of the catalysts were investigated by XRD(X-ray diffraction),SEM(scanning electron microscope),and XPS(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy)and the purification effect on NO_(x) and PM was measured through simulated emission *** results indicate that CuCrO_(2) catalyst has good catalytic activity,the maximum NO_(x) conversion rate can be up to 28.15%,and the ignition temperature of PM can be reduced to 285℃.When the molecular ratio of Cr:Fe=9:1,the catalyst can achieve better catalytic effect,the maximum NO_(x) conversion rate will be up to 30.25%and the PM ignition temperature can be reduced to 280℃.In addition,the catalytic activity of catalyst supported on different carriers was also *** results show that catalyst on SiC foam ceramic carrier has better catalytic activity than that on cordierite honeycomb ceramic *** maximum NO_(x) conversion of CuCrO_(2) and CuCr_(0.9)Fe_(0.1)O_(2) can be increased by 0.72%and 1.33%respectively,and the PM ignition temperature can be further reduced by 15 and 5℃respectively.
