The rational design of weighting factors in the cost function for finite control set model predictive torque control (FCS-MPTC) has been a matter of great interest in power electronics and electrical drives. In order to solve this problem, a weighting factors autotuning strategy for FCS-MPTC of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) based on the adaptive multi-objective black hole algorithm (AMOBH) is proposed. In this paper, the design process of the FCS-MPTC algorithm is first analyzed in detail. Then, an AMOBH algorithm that can take into account both population convergence and population diversity is introduced, and based on this algorithm, the design problem of the weighting factors is successfully transformed into a multi-objective optimization problem by means of reconstructing the cost function and designing the motor operation information collected in real time as the objective functions of the multi-objective optimization algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed method can find a set of weighting factor combinations suitable for different working condition requirements, and these weighting factors can effectively improve the operation performance of the PMSM system. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

Termites have always been one of the major hidden dangers to the operational safety of dams. Traditional detection methods such as manual inspection and termite baiting have limitations in terms of efficiency and accuracy. To solve the problems, paper proposes a termite nest detection method based on ground penetrating radar (GPR) and deep learning. First, the simulated GPR data are generated using gprMax software, and the real data are collected using a GPR at several dams. Subsequently, the YOLOv8 deep neural network is employed for termite nest recognition in GPR images. The experimental results show that the proposed model can achieve the mean average precision (mAP) of 0.96 and a detection speed of 53.76 frames per second (FPS). © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This work looks into the quantized impulsive consensus challenges of nonlinear leader-following multi-agent *** graph theory,principle of differential dynamics,logarithmic quantizer,matrix theory,and the Lyapunov function,among other things,are used to investigate the key discoveries on *** appropriate consensus protocols which contain quantized all agents' relative state information and quantized a part of agents' relative state *** the sake of reducing communication consumption and energy,we combine two control strategies and design two control protocols according to the characteristics of quantized control and impulsive *** a series of deductions,we find that under quantized impulsive control,multi-agent systems can achieve consensus as long as certain sufficient conditions are ***,the simulation example demonstrates the validity and correctness of this papers theoretical approach.

In this paper, the consideration of the stability problem for the vehicular platoon system (VPS) with communication delays under proportional differential (PD) control is studied by the Lyapunov- Krasovskii functional (LKF). Firstly, a VPS considering delay is modeled to analyze the influence of delays for the VPS in operation. Then, an error state-space system of the VPS is constructed and transformed into a singular system. As a result, the stability criterion is proposed based on the state decomposition method via the LKF. Finally, the tolerance for delay is calculated for a case of four vehicles with different controller gains. The result shows that the proportional gain is inversely proportional to the time delay and the differential gain is in direct proportion to the time delay meanwhile. Besides, the high-speed vehicular platoon is more affected by the time delay.

The anti-sway issue with crane systems is discussed in this essay. Because cranes are undriveable and nonlinear, implementing anti-sway controllers becomes much more challenging. This work suggests a crane anti-sway controller that uses feedback linearization(FL) in conjunction with the Equivalent-Input-Disturbance (EID) technique to address the issues. to reduce the problem that the feedback linearization largely relies on the model's accuracy. The crane system is first treated as a linear system, after which the unmodeled disturbances, nonlinear components, and external disturbances of the system are treated as the total disturbances of the system, and the effects of these disturbances are then compensated for using disturbance estimation. Finally, simulation experiments confirm that the maximum steady-state fluctuations of the position and angle of the anti-sway controller based on the equivalent input disturbance method and the feedback linearization method are 14 and 6.85 percent, respectively, of those estimated without disturbances. Given the dual robots play a key role for collaborative work. In this paper, an improved method is proposed to find the kinematic positive solution based on its D-H parameters, model the dual SCARA robot in MATLAB environment, and solve the collaborative workspace point cloud map by Monte Carlo method. The proposed method extracts and plots the boundary curves of the collaboration space by improved the α-Shapes algorithm, and obtains the shape of the common region of the collaboration space of the dual SCARA robots and the limit position parameters in the collaboration space. It provides a theoretical basis for the research of path planning, trajectory planning, dynamics analysis, mechanism parameter optimization, self-avoidance, and anti-collision problems of the dual-robot collaborative system. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

Recently, the emotional robot has basic functions of perceiving and expressing emotions, but it still hard to communicate naturally between humans and robots. One major reason is that communication atmosphere is seldom considered in Human-robot Interaction (HRI). We propose Multi-modal (i.e., music background, speech, and semantics) Based Fuzzy Atmosfield (FA), which can not only realize the dynamic adjustment of FA but also dynamically regulate human emotions. In the experiment, a Pepper robot is used and one hundred volunteers are invited for HRI, and soothing piano pieces are used as background music. Questionnaires were filled by the volunteers after the experiments, from which the results show that 90% of the volunteers felt the dynamic changes in the communication atmosphere and 77% of the volunteers felt significant emotional regulation, which demonstrates the effectiveness of our method. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

Infrared target detection technology is one of the most key technologies of current detection systems, which is not only applied to automatic navigation, security protection and surveillance devices in daily life, but also widely used in the military. However, due to the influence of complex background, infrared detection system is often difficult to achieve accurate and fast detection of small targets, so the current small target detection methods still need to be improved. In this paper, an effective algorithm is proposed by complementally combining local contrast and first-order directional derivative algorithms, incorporating human visual characteristics for enhancement. Then according to the different characteristics of the background and small targets in infrared images, for the problem of excessive redundant information in infrared weak small target images, the high real-time and low leakage rate of LCM is used to find out the information-rich suspicious blocks, and then the low false alarm rate of FODD is used to find out the targets in the suspicious area. Through a lot number of experiments, and comparing with a variety of other algorithms. The results show that the detection algorithm proposed in this paper is significantly better than other algorithms in terms of low false alarm rate and can maintain good real-time performance. © 2019 IEEE.

An alarm flood is a situation where the alarm rate is too high and exceeds the operator's management ability. The occurrence and propagation of an alarm flood cause difficulties for the operators to respond to critical alarms in time, which may make the situation further deteriorate into an industrial accident. In this paper, a semi-supervised method is proposed for root cause identification of alarm floods via graph-based manifold regularization. A vector representation method for industrial alarm event data is presented based on word embedding for alarm textual encoding. A semi-supervised method is proposed to identify root causes of alarm floods based on both labeled and unlabeled alarm flood sequences. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by a case study with data generated by a public industrial simulation model. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.
