The global coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has brought great challenges to the power systems due to its limitations on social, economic and productive activities. This paper proposes a short-term load forecasting method during COVID-19 pandemic based on copula theory and eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost). In this method, the coupling relationship among the cross-domain meteorological, public health, and mobility time-series data are fully analyzed based on copula theory, which is used for the short-term power load forecasting based on multi-factor fusion XGBoost algorithm. The proposed method has been fully evaluated and benchmarked on available cross-domain open-access United States data to demonstrate its effectiveness and superiority on short-term load forecasting of COVID-19.

With the development of artificial intelligence, the anomaly detection plays more and more important role in security monitoring field. Because it is difficult to label abnormal data, most of the supervised methods consumed a lot of manpower and obtained low performance and generality. Inspired by this motivation, this paper proposes a semi-supervised method for anomaly detection in video frames based on GAN (Generative Adversarial Network), in which only normal data was used as the training sample. The quality gap between the predicted frame and the ground truth is used as the basis to determine whether it is abnormal. Moreover, the mathematical morphology approach was adopted to locate the anomaly area in the frames. Experiments show that our method can successfully detect abnormal frames in video and can also locate the area where abnormal behavior occurs in frames.

Reinforcement learning (RL) has been widely used in decision-making and control tasks, but the risk is very high for the agent in the training process due to the requirements of interaction with the environment, which seriously limits its industrial applications such as autonomous driving systems. Safe RL methods are developed to handle this issue by constraining the expected safety violation costs as a training objective, but the occurring probability of an unsafe state is still high, which is unacceptable in autonomous driving tasks. Moreover, these methods are difficult to achieve a balance between the cost and return expectations, which leads to learning performance degradation for the algorithms. In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm based on the long and short-term constraints (LSTC) for safe RL. The short-term constraint aims to enhance the shortterm state safety that the vehicle explores, while the long-term constraint enhances the overall safety of the vehicle throughout the decision-making process, both of which are jointly used to enhance the vehicle safety in the training process. In addition, we develop a safe RL method with dual-constraint optimization based on the Lagrange multiplier to optimize the training process for end-to-end autonomous driving. Comprehensive experiments were conducted on the MetaDrive simulator. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves higher safety in continuous state and action tasks, and exhibits higher exploration performance in long-distance decision-making tasks compared with state-of-the-art methods. In the industrial field, compound faults often occur on rolling bearings and it's difficult to diagnose them correctly. To solve this problem, this article proposes a CNN-ELM compound fault diagnosis method based on joint distribution modification. Firstly, considering the complementarity and coupling of data from multiple sensors, a data input trick of multi-sensor data connected in parallel is designed. Secondly, due to the discrepancy of distribution between the compound fault data features and the single fault data features, the marginal distribution matrix and the posterior distribution matrix are used to modify the CNN-ELM network, so that the network can extract more reliable data features for fault diagnosis. Finally, referring to the categories and criteria of bearing damage proposed by Paderborn University, the label code is defined. The corresponding data set is used to verify the proposed algorithm. Experimental results show that the algorithm can accurately obtain detailed fault information such as fault location, fault type, and fault severity. © 2020 IEEE.

Low-grade gliomas (LGG) is the most common primary intracranial tumor, with high incidence rate, high recurrence rate, high mortality rate and low cure rate. Therefore, it is necessary to predict the survival of LGG patients in diagnosis. Considering the complementarity of information, the new proposed algorithm in this study is designed to integrate Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) data and gene expression data using deep learning method to predict the Disease Specific Survival (DSS) of LGG patients. Firstly, MRI data of 44 patients is screened from TCIA database, and then the corresponding gene expression data of 44 patients is searched from TCGA database. Then, 724 image feature data extracted from MRI data are filtered and extracted by deep learning method, and DSS tags are used to train the model; deep learning method is used to extract 20530 features of gene expression data, and DSS tags are also used for training. As a contrast, the deep learning method is used to integrate the two features to train the model. Experiments are evaluated on MRI data, gene expression data and the integration data of MRI and gene expression data, respectively. The results show that by using the integration of MRI data and gene expression data performs better than using single data in terms of the time-dependent receiver operating characteristic(ROC) and the area under the curve (AUC) of the ROC curve criteria.

With the industry becoming larger and more complicated, the technology of fault diagnosis becomes more and more important. Due to the strong coupling and non-stationarity of the compound fault, the existing fault diagnosis methods cannot accurately identify all single faults’ detailed information contained in the compound fault. This paper proposes a compound fault separation and diagnosis method based on FSACNN and DAN. Firstly, in order to highlight certain frequency segments, frequency segment attention module is added to CNN. Secondly, a compound fault feature separation framework based on DAN is proposed, which can separate compound fault to two fault components accurately. Thiredly, a signature matrix is introduced into ELM to improve the performance of the classifier. Finally, ablation experiments are designed to prove the advantage of the proposed method.

With the rapid development of sequencing technology, researchers can obtain a large number of single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data which is useful for analysis of cell fate decision and growth process at individual cell resolution. But due to the limitations of sequencing technology, the data acquired has dropouts which may affect the results of down-steam analysis. Therefore, many algorithms have been proposed to impute the data before clustering, here in, imputation and clustering are considered as two separate processing stage. In this paper, we adopt a clustering algorithm—Incomplete Multiple Kernel k-means Clustering with Mutual Kernel Completion (MKKM-IK-MKC) to analyze scRNA-seq data. It unifies imputation and clustering into a process. Comparing with some existing "two stage" (imputation +clustering) algorithms, the experimental results on five scRNA-seq datasets from various species demonstrate the effective performance of our new proposed method.

Heat dissipation is extremely important for electronic component such as CPU or GPU of the computer. Now most researchers only design optimal heat sink for CPU for better heat dissipation, while few of them consider waste heat recycling of CPU. The CPU can be used as the heat source, while the original system has fan and heat sink as the cooling system. Thus, the original CPU working condition is very suitable for thermoelectric power generation and will bring great benefit to system itself. However, adding thermoelectric generator will increase the temperature of CPU, which will decrease the performance of the computer. It is necessary to reduce the hot side temperature while generating energy as much as possible. To achieve this, this paper designed a kind of intelligent waste heat generation system based on thermoelectric power generator. Three different shape heat sinks are designed, contrasted, and tested. By building experimental platform and establishing simulation model, the power of thermoelectric power generation and temperature change of the three heat sink structures are compared. The fin shaped heat sink is considered has the best output performance while keeping the hot side temperature within the acceptance range. The maximum output power is 10.67mW, and the maximum hot side temperature is 72°C during the experiment.

Modern industrial devices often use multiple sensors to detect the status of system,which produce a large amount of multivariate time *** to the complex temporal dependency of intra-channel and inter-correlations among different channels,few of proposed algorithms have addressed these challenges for anomaly detection in multivariate time ***,previous work does not consider future dependency,which has been shown to be critical for sequential data *** this paper,we develop an unsupervised anomaly detection algorithm TransAnomaly,which integrates Transformer,variational autoencoder(VAE) and nonlinear state space *** not only reduces the computational complexity and allows for more parallelization but also provides explainable *** the best of our knowledge,it is the first model that combines VAE and Transformer for multivariate time series anomaly *** experiments on several public real-world datasets show that TransAnomaly outperforms state-of-the-art baseline methods while training cost is reduced by nearly 80%.

In the field of electric power distribution network operation, most tasks involve contact operations. A key technology to enable the flexible operation of robots in live distribution network tasks is the installation of six-dimensional force sensors on the robot's end flange. These sensors allow the robot to perceive external environmental contact forces. However, the presence of the end load interferes with the accurate perception of external forces. Aiming at the gravity compensation of robot end load, an optimization algorithm of gravity compensation based on particle swarm optimization is proposed. In this method, the optimal solution model is established with the objective of minimum sum of squared errors, and the particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to estimate the mounting declination angle of the force sensor and improve the precision of gravity compensation. The experiments show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the maximum gravity compensation error and the average gravity compensation error in each direction after optimization, in which the maximum gravity compensation error of the resultant force is reduced by 9.11% and the average gravity compensation error of the resultant force is reduced by 12.34%.
