In order to make up for the shortcomings of a single inertial sensor,which is easily disturbed and unable to directly describe the periodic characteristics of gait,a novel gait events detection algorithm is proposed which is based on the invariant characteristics of hip joint *** healthy volunteers conducted a walking experiment over the ground,who were equipped with motion capture device and insole with *** hip angle derived from motion capture device were applied to detect gait events,heel stride(HS) and toe off(TO).And the gait events detected by ground reactor force(GRF) were taken as the reference *** mean absolute difference of HS is 28±42 ms,and the mean absolute difference of TO is 27 ± 43 ms. And the confidence levels of the two gait events are 97.5% and 99.2%,*** results demonstrate that the proposed gait events detection algorithm is reliability and has potential clinical application value.

The self-oscillating loop is an important part of the optically pumped cesium magnetometer, and its working characteristics directly determine the accurate measurement of external magnetic field. The design of the self-oscillating loop has been discussed in this paper, including a signal conditioning circuit, a phase shifter and a frequency meter. It can be used to precisely improve the accuracy of resonance signal in a wide range of frequencies from 50 kHz to 350 kHz. The relative error of our system is less than 0.5×10-6 and it has a good prospect in the optically pumped cesium magnetometer. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In sequential recommender systems, the main problems are the long-tailed distribution of data and noise interference. A Contrastive Framework for Sequential Recommendation (CFSeRec) is proposed to solve these two problems respectively. Token shuffling and adversarial attack data augmentation methods are used in the framework to improve the quality and quantity of training data, so that the long-tailed problem is mitigated. Through the application of projection head method, the sequence representation becomes more general and robust, rather than just adapted to the task of contrastive learning. Therefore, the impact of noise on sequence recommender systems is effectively alleviated. Experiments on four public datasets show that CFSeRec achieves state-of-the-art performance in the metrics of hit ratio and normalized discounted cumulative gain, when comparing to the seven previous frameworks.

In the past, most robots used rigid structures. With the development of intelligent materials, more and more soft materials began to be used in the manufacture of robots. Magnetic-driven soft robot is one of its important branches. Because of the flexibility of magnetoelastic composite robots and the harmlessness of magnetic field to human body, a magnetically-controlled soft robot has broad application prospects in medical fields such as disease diagnosis and treatment in human body. A small lamellate magnetic soft robot is designed in this paper with the advantages of small volume, light weight, high deformation, fast and simple manufacture. And it can be driven without wire under the control of the magnetic field formed by the three-dimensional Helmholtz coil. The robot can walk and crawl on the surface of magnetically-controlled. The motion characteristics of the magnetic soft robot such as crawling step length and bending height are analyzed. The data are collected through experiments to analyze the relationship between the control signal and the motion characteristics.

In this paper, a deep residual network based on convolutional block attention module (CBAM) is proposed, which is utilized for feature extraction of partially occluded face expression data. The proposed method overcomes the problem of localized occlusion face feature extraction by focusing on the regions and channels containing important information in the occluded face data through CBAM. Multi-task cascaded convolutional networks (MTCNN) are firstly utilized to localize the key regions of face emotion, and then deep emotion features are extracted by CBAM-ResNet network. The final emotion labels are generated. The effectiveness of this paper's method is verified on the RAF-DB dataset and the occluded CK+ dataset. The experimental accuracy in the RAF-DB dataset is 76.3%, which is 3.74% and 1.64% higher than the accuracy produced by the method of RGBT, and the WLS-RF, respectively. Application experiments are carried out in the real teaching scenario, which verifies the applicability of the algorithm in the real teaching scene. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, a new fourth-orders memristor chaotic system is obtained by introducing a smooth memristor model as the feedback term based on the modified three-orders chaotic system. The system can generate double-wing, four-wing chaos or hyperchaos for different parameters and initial conditions. Through the analysis of Lyapunov exponent and other dynamics, we can see that the system has complex chaotic, hyperchaotic, and continuous chaotic. Other dynamical behaviors such as multistability and extreme multi-stability are found by comparing phase and bifurcation diagrams, and equilibrium point calculations. Finally, the chaotic behavior is successfully verified by circuit simulation. © 2021 IEEE

In this paper, a modified artificial potential field (MAPF) method was proposed for general mobile robot navigation system. This MAPF method can effectively solve the unreachable goal problem and the local minima problem of traditional APF method. The first key idea of MAPF method is to modify the repulsive force function and thus optimize the direction of total repulsive force;the second key idea is to generate a serials of subgoal points around obstacles with specific method, so as to help the robot escape from or keep away from local minima area. By comparing with other similar algorithms in simulation environment, the MAPF algorithm can generate shorter paths efficiently. More importantly, it also can generate effective paths in multi-obstacle environment where other algorithms cannot. Finally the simulation results verified the reasonability and practicability of the proposed MAPF method. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This paper proposes a distributed optimization algorithm based on alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) for the distributed optimization problem of multi-agent systems, called ADMM with adaptive penalty terms and conditional communication (for short, AAPCC), by using the local information of agents to update the adaptive penalty terms to speed up the convergence speed while by restricting the communication conditions of agents to reduce the communication cost of agents in the iterative process. Thus, the communication cost of the system is reduced while the convergence speed is ensured. Numerical simulation experiments show that in a multi-agent system, compared with the classical ADMM, AAPCC can better balance the convergence speed and communication cost, suitable for multi-agent systems that require fast convergence speed and less communication cost. © 2021 IEEE

In landslide susceptibility prediction using machine learning (ML) models, the selection of appropriate negative samples significantly impacts the accuracy of the predictions. Many existing studies tend to randomly choose negative samples from the entire research area or specific attribute areas such as low slopes, leading to inaccuracies and biases that decrease the reliability of susceptibility mapping. To address this issue, this paper proposes an ML model based on the coupled information value (IV) method for susceptibility modeling. In this approach, the attribute values of environmental factors are transformed into information values, representing their contribution to landslides, using the information quantity method. Very low and low prone areas are then identified based on these information values, and random points are selected from these areas as negative samples for training and verifying subsequent machine learning models, which include the Random Forest (RF) model and Support Vector Machine (SVM) *** study focuses on the Three Gorges reservoir area in the Zigui-Badong area as an example. The comparative analysis of models trained using traditional sampling methods reveals that the RF model and SVM model, which were sampled using the information value method, achieve accuracies of 95.33% and 91.13%, respectively. In contrast, models trained using traditional sampling methods achieve accuracies of 90.43% and 88.69%, respectively.
