In this paper, we consider the exponential stabilization of coupled wave equations with spatially-varying coefficients and internal anti-damping. In contrast to the previous work in the literature, the kernel equations of this system are much more complicated. Using the backstepping method, we verify the kernel equations, which is a system of coupled linear wave equations with spatially-varying coefficients. Then by designing a new characteristic line, the well-posedness of the kernel equations is obtained. Finally we use a Lyapunov function to get the exponential stabilization. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the result.

In this work,we proposed a diffuse-interface model for the dendritic growth with thermosolutal *** this model,the sharp boundary between the fluid and solid dendrite is firstly replaced by a thin but nonzero thickness diffuse interface,which is described by the order parameter,and the diffuse-interface based governing equations for the dendritic growth are *** solve the model for the dendritic growth with thermosolutal convection,we also developed a diffuse-interface multirelaxation-time lattice Boltzmann(LB)*** this method,the order parameter in the phase-field equation is combined into the force caused by the fluid-solid interaction,and the treatment on the complex fluid-solid interface can be *** addition,four LB models are designed for the phase-field equation,concentration equation,temperature equation and the Navier-Stokes equations in a unified ***,we performed some simulations of the dendritic growth to test the present diffuse-interface LB method,and found that the numerical results are in good agreements with some previous works.

In this paper, a multiple-relaxation-time finite-difference lattice Boltzmann method(MRT-FDLBM) is developed for the nonlinear convection-diffusion equation(NCDE). Through designing the equilibrium distribution function and the source term properly, the NCDE can be recovered exactly from MRT-FDLBM. We also conduct the von Neumann stability analysis on the present MRT-FDLBM and its special case, i.e., single-relaxationtime finite-difference lattice Boltzmann method(SRT-FDLBM). Then, a simplified version of MRT-FDLBM(SMRT-FDLBM) is also proposed, which can save about 15% computational cost. In addition, a series of real and complex-value NCDEs, including the isotropic convection-diffusion equation, Burgers-Fisher equation, sine-Gordon equation, heat-conduction equation, and Schr?dinger equation, are used to test the performance of MRT-FDLBM. The results show that both MRT-FDLBM and SMRT-FDLBM have second-order convergence rates in space and time. Finally, the stability and accuracy of five different models are compared, including the MRT-FDLBM, SMRT-FDLBM,SRT-FDLBM, the previous finite-difference lattice Boltzmann method [H. Wang, B. Shi et al., ***. Comput. 309, 334(2017)], and the lattice Boltzmann method(LBM). The stability tests show that the sequence of stability from high to low is as follows: MRT-FDLBM, SMRT-FDLBM,SRT-FDLBM, the previous finite-difference lattice Boltzmann method, and LBM. In most of the precision test results, it is found that the order from high to low of precision is MRT-FDLBM,SMRT-FDLBM, SRT-FDLBM, and the previous finite-difference lattice Boltzmann method.

As deep learning models have made remarkable strides in numerous fields,a variety of adversarial attack methods have emerged to interfere with deep learning *** examples apply a minute perturbation to the original image,which is inconceivable to the human but produces a massive error in the deep learning *** attack methods have achieved good results when the network structure is ***,in the case of unknown network structures,the effectiveness of the attacks still needs to be ***,transfer-based attacks are now very popular because of their convenience and practicality,allowing adversarial samples generated on known models to be used in attacks on unknown *** this paper,we extract sensitive features by Grad-CAM and propose two single-step attacks methods and a multi-step attack method to corrupt sensitive *** two single-step attacks,one corrupts the features extracted from a single model and the other corrupts the features extracted from multiple *** multi-step attack,our method improves the existing attack method,thus enhancing the adversarial sample transferability to achieve better results on unknown *** method is also validated on CIFAR-10 and MINST,and achieves a 1%-3%improvement in transferability.

Among the plethora of IoT(Internet of Things)applications,the smart home is one of the ***,the rapid development of the smart home has also made smart home systems a target for ***,researchers have made many efforts to investigate and enhance the security of smart home *** a more secure smart home ecosystem,we present a detailed literature review on the security of smart home ***,we categorize smart home systems’security issues into the platform,device,and communication *** exploring the research and specific issues in each of these security areas,we summarize the root causes of the security flaws in today's smart home systems,which include the heterogeneity of internal components of the systems,vendors'customization,the lack of clear responsibility boundaries and the absence of standard security ***,to better understand the security of smart home systems and potentially provide better protection for smart home systems,we propose research directions,including automated vulnerability mining,vigorous security checking,and data-driven security analysis.

Network pruning has been extensively studied in model compression to reduce neural networks' memory, latency, and computation cost. However, the pruned networks still suffer from the threat posed by adversarial examples, limiting the broader application of the pruned networks in safety-critical applications. Previous studies maintain the robustness of the pruned networks by combining adversarial training and network pruning but ignore preserving the robustness at a high sparsity ratio in structured pruning. To address such a problem, we propose an effective filter importance criterion, Filter Robustness Estimation (FRE), to evaluate the importance of filters by estimating their contribution to the adversarial training loss. Empirical results show that our FRE-based Robustness-aware Filter Pruning (FRFP) outperforms the state-of-the-art methods by 12.19%∼37.01% of empirical robust accuracy on the CIFAR10 dataset with the VGG16 network at an extreme pruning ratio of 90%. © 2023 IEEE.

Asymmetric scattering behaviors of spin wave dependent on magnetic vortex chirality

We investigate asymmetric spin wave scattering behaviors caused by vortex chirality in a cross-shaped ferromagnetic system by using the micromagnetic *** the system,four scattering behaviors are found:(i)asymmetric skew scattering,depending on the polarity of vortex core,(ii)back scattering(reflection),depending on the vortex core stiffness,(iii)side deflection scattering,depending on structural symmetry of the vortex circulation,and(iv)geometrical scattering,depending on waveguide *** first and second scattering behaviors are attributed to nonlinear topological magnon spin Hall effect related to magnon spin-transfer torque effect,which has value for magnonic exploration and application.
