This paper investigates the cooperative output regulation (COR) of nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs) with long input delay based on periodic event-triggered mechanism. Compared with other mechanisms, periodic event-triggered control can automatically guarantee a Zeno-free behavior and avoid the continuous monitoring of triggered conditions. First, a new periodic event-triggered distributed observer, which is based on the fully asynchronous communication data, is proposed to estimate the leader information. Second, a new distributed predictor feedback control method is proposed for the considered nonlinear MASs with input delay. By coordinate transformation, the MASs are mapped into new coupled ODE-PDE target systems with some disturbance-like terms. Then, we show that the COR problem is solvable. At last, to further save the communication resource, a periodic event-triggered mechanism is considered in the sensor-to-controller transmission in every agent. A new periodic event-triggered filter is proposed to deal with the periodic event-triggered feedback data. The MASs with input delay are mapped into coupled ODE-PDE target systems with sampled data information. Then, Lyapunov-Krasovskii functions are constructed to demonstrate the exponential stability of the MASs. Simulations verify the validity of the proposed results. © 2024, CC BY-NC-ND.

In order to reduce the shallow detection blind zone and improve the shallow detection accuracy, this paper presents a shallow transient electromagnetic direct forward modeling method based on ramp turn-off current. The main idea is to obtain the spectrum of the ramp turn-off current signal by Fourier transform at first, then using Maxwell’s equation to solve the propagation process of the electromagnetic signal in the medium, thus obtaining the early signal of transient electromagnetic *** theory, this method is more suitable for the detection of shallow subsurface media than the ideal step signal. Simulation experiments on the ramp step signals with different turn-off times show that the complete ideal coincidence with the traditional ideal step signal when the turn-off time approaches zero, indicating the correctness of the algorithm. At the same time, compared with the current element superposition forward method, the forward curve obtained by this method is closer to the actual situation,and the calculation speed is much faster than the current element superposition method. The research results in this paper are of great value to reduce the detection blind zone, improve the detection accuracy and real-time performance of the transient electromagnetic detecting.

For the power supply of spaceborne cameras on two-body satellites, an improved magnetic coupling resonant wireless power transfer system(WPT) is proposed. By establishing the equivalent circuit model of WPT system, the influence of topology model and high-Q repeating coil on system performance is analyzed. Finally, the correctness of theory and analysis was verified by experiments. The experimental results show that when the transmission distance of the improved WPT system is 11 cm, the load can receive 18.66 W of power and the transmission efficiency is 69%. Compared with the traditional two-coil WPT system,the system has a significant improvement in transmission distance, transmission power, and transmission efficiency, and can meet the technical requirements of spaceborne cameras in transmission distance, transmission power and transmission efficiency.

In this paper, a deep residual network based on convolutional block attention module (CBAM) is proposed, which is utilized for feature extraction of partially occluded face expression data. The proposed method overcomes the problem of localized occlusion face feature extraction by focusing on the regions and channels containing important information in the occluded face data through CBAM. Multi-task cascaded convolutional networks (MTCNN) are firstly utilized to localize the key regions of face emotion, and then deep emotion features are extracted by CBAM-ResNet network. The final emotion labels are generated. The effectiveness of this paper's method is verified on the RAF-DB dataset and the occluded CK+ dataset. The experimental accuracy in the RAF-DB dataset is 76.3%, which is 3.74% and 1.64% higher than the accuracy produced by the method of RGBT, and the WLS-RF, respectively. Application experiments are carried out in the real teaching scenario, which verifies the applicability of the algorithm in the real teaching scene.

Parallel cyber-physical attacks (PCPA) refer to those attacks on power grids by disturbing/cutting off physical transmission lines and meanwhile blocking transmission of measurement data to dwarf or delay the system protection and recovery actions. Such fierce hostile attacks impose critical threats to the modern power grids when there is a fusion of power grids and telecommunication technologies. In this paper, we investigate the fault diagnosis problem of faulty transmission lines under a broader spectrum of PCPA for a linearized (or DC) power flow model. The physical attack mechanism of PCPA includes not only disconnection but also admittance value modification on transmission lines, for example, by invading distributed flexible AC transmission system (D-FACTS). To tackle the problem, we first recover the information of voltage phase angles within the attacked area. Using the information of voltage phase angle and power injection of buses, a graph attention network-based fault localization (GAT-FL) algorithm is proposed to find the locations of the physical attacks. By capitalizing on the feature extraction capability of the GAT on graph data, the fault localization algorithm outperforms the existing results when under cyber attacks, e.g., denial of service (DoS) attacks. A line state identification algorithm is then developed to identify the states of the transmission lines within the attacked area. Specifically, the algorithm restores the power injection of buses within the attacked area and then identities the state of all the transmission lines within the attacked area by solving a linear programming (LP) problem. Experimental simulations are conducted on IEEE 30/118 bus standard test cases to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed fault diagnosis algorithms. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. In this paper, a fuzzy PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller is introduced to suppress the stick-slip vibration present in the drilling process. First, the dynamical model of stick-slip vibration is composed of the multi-DOF (Degree-Of-Freedom) drill-string model and the Karnopp model describing the interaction of the drill bit with the rock. Then, stability analysis is made for the initial PID parameters of our controller. To suppress the stick-slip vibration and at the same time mitigate the effects of the stratigraphic environment variation on the control performance, the fuzzy adaptive algorithm is chosen as the method of optimization controller parameters. From the experimental results, it is clear that our controller has good control performance in the complex and changing stratigraphic environment.

In this paper, the actuator saturation of drill-rig is considered in the mitigation of stick-slip vibration of the drill-string system. Firstly, the dynamic of stick-slip vibration is described by the combination of a multi-degree-of-freedom drill-string model and a bit-rock interaction model. To suppress stick-slip vibration while reducing the effect of saturation on control performance, a dynamic output feedback controller with an anti-windup compensator is introduced. Then, stability analysis of the resulting closed-loop system is carried out. By solving an optimization problem, the gain matrix of the anti-windup compensator is obtained. Finally, a case study is used to show the effectiveness of the method.

The process of blast furnace ironmaking is com-posed of several sub-processes. The process of blast furnace smelting is complicated and the data of each sub-process are scattered and not concentrated. The traditional working mode of subjective judgment based on manual experience is not conducive to the stable production of the blast furnace. Therefore, this paper develops a big data system for the production process of blast furnace, which is of great significance to realize the digital production and intelligent production of blast furnace. According to the system architecture of blast furnace ironmaking, this paper mainly designs and develops the data acquisition layer, data storage layer, data analysis layer and data application layer of the big data system.

Anomaly detection is essential to ensure the safety of industrial processes. This paper presents an anomaly detection approach based on the probability density estimation and principle of justifiable granularity. First, time series data are transformed into a two-dimensional information granule by the principle of justifiable granularity. Then, the test statistic is constructed, and the probability density and cumulative distribution functions of the test statistic are calculated. Next, the confidence level determines the test threshold. Finally, the time series data of a key parameter in the sintering process is used as a case study. The experimental result demonstrates that the proposed approach can detect abnormal time series data effectively, providing an accurate and effective solution for detecting time series anomalies in industrial processes.

Model management is a critical component in data-driven surrogate-assisted evolutionary optimization. It is mainly used for selecting candidate samples to be evaluated using exact functions to balance the exploration and exploitation of algorithms. However, there are some potential limitations for typical infill sampling criteria. An adaptive model management strategy is proposed to overcome the limitations. It adaptively adjusts the selection probability of candidate samples, and avoids potentially unreliability and the burden of selecting parameters of typical infill sampling criteria. The comparison results on benchmark problems demonstrate the competitiveness of the strategy in solving data-driven optimization problems.
