This paper is concerned with design of a deviation correction control system for vertical drilling process. Notice that only inclination angle is considered by traditional deviation correction systems, which may cause that the drilling trajectory extends around the wellhead's plumb line or gets away from the line. In this paper, focusing on the drilling trajectory itself, a deviation correction control scheme is provided to improve the vertical precision of the vertical drilling while maintaining small inclination angles. A hybrid modeling method for establishing the trajectory extension model and a model predictive control strategy based on the model are integrated in the scheme. It is expected that the phenomenon of spiral-like drilling trajectory can be attenuated by our control system over the traditional ones.

With the booming installed capacity of permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) for wind energy generation, the grid becomes weaker and the oscillation events are frequently observed in weak-grid-tied large-scale grid-connected PMSG wind farms. Although the impedance-based method is effective to analyze the stability of grid-connected systems, the mathematical relationship between external impedance characteristics and the internal controllers has not been quantitatively analyzed in depth, which is beneficial to the controller design. This paper studies the influence of phase-locked loop (PLL) on the impedance characteristics based on the analytical sequence impedance model of PMSG with typical topology and control structure. The shaping effect of PLL on the impedance characteristics is described so as to clearly describe the relationship between the external impedance characteristics of the wind turbines and the internal controller. Finally, the stability analysis of the grid-connected PMSG wind turbine system is provided in Matlab and simulation results are given to verify the oscillating mechanism caused by PLL. © 2020 IEEE.

In order to improve the accuracy of short-term power load forecasting, an algorithm that simultaneously optimizes SVR parameters and optimizes the selection of input features is proposed. Firstly, the input features are selected by BP neural network. In order to avoid the influence of the randomness of the initial weights and thresholds on the optimization, the GA algorithm is used to optimize the weights and thresholds. Secondly, using GA algorithm to optimize the parameters of support vector regression, a short-term load forecasting model based on GA-BPNN-SVR optimization algorithm is obtained. Finally, the GA-BPNN-SVR model is applied to practical short-term power load forecasting, and the forecasting effect is compared with that of GA-SVM and BPNN-SVR models. The results show that the average absolute percentage error obtained by this method is only 1.74%, which is 1.64% and 3.11% lower than the average absolute percentage error obtained with GA-SVM model and BPNN-SVR. Augmented reality technology is a research hotspot in the field of computer vision in recent years. Tracking registration technology determines the performance of augmented reality systems. The accuracy of tracking registration directly affects the users experience. Therefore, the research of tracking registration technology is of great significance. In this paper, augmented reality and its core tracking registration technology are introduced firstly. Then, the visual tracking registration method based on marker and natural features are elaborated, and the more advanced visual SLAM-based tracking registration method in recent years is summarized. Magnetic sensing platform techniques have been used in many years in an attempt to better evaluate the likelihood of recoverable hydrocarbon reservoirs by determining the depth and pattern of sedimentary rock formations containing magnetic minerals, such as magnetite. Utilizing airplanes, large-area magnetic surveys have been conducted to estimate, for example, the depth of igneous rock and the thickness of sedimentary rock formations. In this case, the vector magnetic survey method can simultaneously obtain the modulus and direction information of the Earth's magnetic field, which can effectively reduce the multiplicity on data inversion, contribute to the quantitative interpretation of the magnetic body and obtain more precise information and characteristics of magnetic field resource, so as to improve the detection resolution and positioning accuracy of the underground target body. This paper presents a state-of-the-art review of the application situations, the technical features, and the development of the vector magnetic sensing platform-technical aspects for different application scenarios, i.e., ground, wells, marine, airborne, and satellites, respectively. The potential of multi-survey sensing platform technique fusion for magnetic field detection is also discussed. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this paper, the fault detection problem has been investigated for networked singularly perturbed systems with time delays under the stochastic communication protocol (SCP). To avoid/alleviate the undesired data collisions, the SCP is introduced to schedule the data transmissions, under which the sensor nodes obtain access to the communication network according to a stochastic sequence with a known probability distribution. Our aim is to design a fault detection filter (FDF) such that, for all external disturbances and the transmitted measurements under the SCP, the error between the residual and the fault is made as small as possible. Based on the discrete Wirtinger-based inequality, a sufficient condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is derived, which guarantees the existence of the desired FDF for any singular perturbation parameter belonging to a predefined interval. When these LMIs are feasible, the parameters of the desired FDF are explicitly given. Visual reasoning between visual image and natural language description is a long-standing challenge in computer vision. While recent approaches offer a great promise by compositionality or relational computing, most of them are oppressed by the challenge of training with datasets containing only a limited number of images with ground-truth texts. Besides, it is extremely time-consuming and difficult to build a larger dataset by annotating millions of images with text descriptions that may very likely lead to a biased model. Inspired by the majority success of webly supervised learning, we utilize readily-available web images with its noisy annotations for learning a robust representation. Our key idea is to presume on web images and corresponding tags along with fully annotated datasets in learning with knowledge embedding. We present a two-stage approach for the task that can augment knowledge through an effective embedding model with weakly supervised web data. This approach learns not only knowledge-based embeddings derived from key-value memory networks to make joint and full use of textual and visual information but also exploits the knowledge to improve the performance with knowledge-based representation learning for applying other general reasoning tasks. Experimental results on two benchmarks show that the proposed approach significantly improves performance compared with the state-of-the-art methods and guarantees the robustness of our model against visual reasoning tasks and other reasoning tasks.

3D human face modeling is one of the most popular research directions in the field of computer stereo vision. On the one hand, the complex physiological structure of human face as well as various expressions and attitude changes bring great challenges to three-dimensional modeling, which makes the modeling method of human face have high research value and reference significance. On the other hand, 3D face reconstruction has a broad application prospect, and the application demand attracts more researchers to invest in it. Based on the 3DMM and 3DDFA method, this paper utilizes regression neural network to realize end-to-end face reconstruction. After that, we build a visualization program with the training model to realize face modeling based on a single face image of any pose or expression. It’s a 3D face reconstruction system which has functions such as face alignment, face rotation and so on.

The demand for stereo garages has been an urgent issue as the number of vehicles in China has been soaring these years. An intelligent control system for networked stereo garages is introduced here. Based on authors’ design, the movement of the parking plate is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC). PLC sends the parking space status, the limit switch state, and the motor running parameters to the acorn RSIC machine (ARM) control system. The ARM control system then uploads the license plate recognition result and the garage operation data to the cloud platform instantly through internal network. The cloud platform would develop corresponding control strategies based on data received from the cloud portal (website and application (APP)) and the ARM controller. The test result of the system indicates that it meets the requirements of relevant technical indicators and the actual needs of users. © 2019 Institution of Engineering and *** rights reserved.
