Traffic congestion in metropolitan areas has become more and more serious. Over the past decades, many academic and industrial efforts have been made to alleviate this problem, among which providing accurate, timely and predictive traffic conditions is a promising approach. Nowadays, online open data have rich traffic related information. Typical such resources include official websites of traffic management and operations, web-based map services (like Google map), weather forecasting websites, and local events (sport games, music concerts, etc.) websites. In this paper, online open data are discussed to provide traffic related information. Traffic conditions collected from web based map services are used to demonstrate the feasibility. The stacked long short-term memory model, a kind of deep architecture, is used to learn and predict the patterns of traffic conditions. Experimental results show that the proposed model for traffic condition prediction has superior performance over multilayer perceptron model, decision tree model and support vector machine model.

Past chemical industry accident cases include volume valuable information like precursor, equipment involved, relevant causes and experiences of emergence response. In-depth analysis and fully utilization of these information play an important decision-making role in controlling risk and enhancing safety performance in chemical industry. In this work, a survey of use of accident data is conducted around the world and the result shows that the detailed use of these information play an important role in preventing accidents. However, in China there much more needs to be done in the application of accident data. According to the needs of safety management of chemical plants, a simple and effective method of the use of chemical accident cases is proposed based on collecting and analyzing of a large number of chemical accident cases. And finally, a utilization system of chemical industry accident cases is implemented through Microsoft access 2010. The result shows that the system can realize the effective management and use of past chemical accident information.

Social computing, as the technical foundation of future computational smart societies, has the potential to improve the effectiveness of opensource big data usage, systematically integrate a variety of elements including time, human, resources, scenarios, and organizations in the current cyber-physical-social world, and establish a novel social structure with fair information, equal rights, and a flat configuration. Meanwhile, considering the big modeling gap between the model world and the physical world, the concept of parallel intelligence is introduced. With the help of software-defined everything, parallel intelligence bridges the big modeling gap by means of constructing artificial systems where computational experiments can be implemented to verify social policies, economic strategies, and even military operations. Artificial systems play the role of ＂social laboratories＂ in which decisions are computed before they are executed in our physical society. Afterwards, decisions with the expected outputs are executed in parallel in both the artificial and physical systems to interactively sense, compute, evaluate and adjust system behaviors in real-time, leading system behaviors in the physical system converging to those proven to be optimal in the artificial ones. Thus, the smart guidance and management for our society can be achieved.

With the rapid development of Chinese economy and automotive industry,urban traffic congestion has become increasingly ***,how to effectively alleviate the traffic congestion and improve the efficiency of vehicles has become the main *** signal control is one of the effective ways to solve urban traffic *** this paper,a traffic signal control method based on Action-Dependent Heuristic Dynamic Programming(ADHDP) is *** control algorithm is simulated on two intersections,both of which have two phases with four entrance *** computer simulation results show that the control method has the better ability of on-line learning compared with traditional Fix-Time control,and can effectively improve the average speed of vehicles,and reduce travel time and alleviate the traffic pressure.

Piezoelectric actuator(PEA) is widely applied in micro/nano positioning system. However, its inherent hysteresis limits its application. Modeling of hysteresis plays an important role in solving this problem. Linear play operators (LPO) adaptive hysteresis model is introduced in this paper. LPO operators are used to replace delay operators of adaptive transversal filter to compose a new serial structure of adaptive transversal filter model, and LMS (Least Mean Square) algorithm is used to adjust the weight values. As hysteresis loop of piezoelectric actuator is asymmetric and LPO operator is symmetric, a modified LPO (MLPO) adaptive filter is proposed for asymmetric hysteresis effect. At last, the two LPO filters are applied to model hysteresis characteristic of Piezoelectric actuator, and the modeling effect is verified via a micro-positioning system experiment platform based on Piezoelectric actuator. Experimental results show that the modified LPO filters can achieve better accurate hysteresis modeling. © (2015) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The state estimation of general nonlinear systems is investigated through a parameter-dependent approach. This paper adopts the polytopic approximation for the nonlinear systems, which facilitates the application of analytical approaches for resultant convex-bounded linear systems into the given nonlinear systems. The design of a high performance H2state estimator is firstly determined by solving a convex optimization problem constrained by relaxed linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The tensor product (TP) model transformation is then adopted to obtain the polytopic linearization. Specifically, A new process is presented to correct the result of the TP model transformation such that a necessary condition to solve the state estimation problem is assured. Finally, a numerical simulation is performed to illustrate the design process and verify the performance. © 2015 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

In recent years, the rapid development of network and E-commerce technologies, promotes the development of human body big data. New technologies, such as 3D scanning and 3D printing will improve our life quality. The new socialized manufacturing network composed of Io T, advanced logistics network and 3D printers. Everyone is allowed to have chance to participate in any process of the whole production manufacturing lifecycle by some ways, such as crowdsourcing. Boosts the creation, production and consumption patterns of individuation, real-time transformation and E-commerce, possibly will lead to a new industrial revolution. In this revolutionary change wave, public concerns focus on the human body big data used for social manufacturing of wearable products or personalized medical treatment. Although many scholars have done a lot of research work, the collection of the human body shape big data still faces many challenges. There is no complete, separated theoretical research works in progress, it should be summarized and improved systematically. In this paper, we review that big data for human body shape is gaining momentum. The 3D scanning and 3D modeling of human body shape are summarized and concluded. The main applications of these big data are analyzed.

In recent years, the Information Technology develops rapidly. With the development of the Information Technology, the social manufacturing, a new mode of manufacturing, has been proposed. The social manufacturing combines the Internet technology, the three-dimensional scanning technology and the virtual reality technology, and is used in the apparel industry and other fashion industries for the mass customization. The three-dimensional scanning technology and the virtual fitting mirror technology are inseparable from the depth camera. Depth cameras play an important role in the social manufacturing. Manufacturers use depth cameras to obtain three-dimensional models of the body of customers to design suitable clothes. Customers can visually see the effect of clothes by using a virtual fitting mirror which is based on the depth camera. The social manufacturing makes mass customization possible, and the depth camera help develop the social manufacturing. This paper introduces the principles of depth cameras, and the application of depth cameras in the social manufacturing.

The rapidly growing amount of social interaction makes geographical names an important and indispensable medium for people in social and economic exchanges. Especially in today's information age, the frequency of usage of name information has increased greatly. In this paper, a method for the construction of a cities' names database is proposed. This will include the processing of the outcome data from the names pilot survey, the consolidation into the database, the development of the cloud service and management system based on the geographical names and zoning database, and the construction of a relatively complete set of the public service system of geographical names based on a website and touch screen interface. The method has been applied in San Ya, China successfully, and very good results have been obtained. The platform can provide not only accurate and convenient services of geographical names, but also promote its economic development and social progress.
