Graph neural networks(GNNs) have shown great popularity and achieved promising performance on various graph-based tasks in the past years. However, there is little work that explores the information fusion mechanism, which plays an import role in GNNs. Besides, datasets in the real world often have noises, which make the information fusion difficult. In this paper, we give an information-theoretic explanation. Specifically, we focus on how the information from topological structures and node features fuses and how different information contributes to the downstream task. Furthermore, we propose a general framework named M-GCN to express the fusion process in GNNs. Graph embeddings and feature graph are introduced to extract the information from topological structure and node features separately in M-GCN. Extensive experiments are conducted on several benchmark datasets and experimental results show that our proposed models are more robust and outperform state-of-the-art methods.

With the proposal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality targets and the construction of a new power system, improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions have become the key to the sustainable development of industrial boiler generator sets. However, the current load scheduling of gas boiler power plants is mainly based on manual experience, which limits achieving more efficient and stable operation. Accurate short-term load forecasting can help dispatchers to make reasonable production schedules. Therefore, this paper proposes a hybrid load forecasting model for generator sets based on convolutional neural networks combined with long short-term memory networks. First, the Isolation Forest algorithm eliminates anomalies in the historical data set. Then, variables related to unit load are selected by combining mechanistic analysis with the Spearman algorithm. Considering the multiple operating conditions and high complexity of unit loads, the CNN-LSTM network is used to fully extract the spatial and temporal characteristics to build the load prediction model. Finally, experiments are conducted using actual production data, showing that the proposed method is effectiveness. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

With rapid progress of artificial intelligence (AI) , it is urgent to promote educational reform to improve comprehensive competence level of primary and secondary school students (CCLPSSS). However, educational reform is a system engineering involving multiple and intertwined factors. In this research, a system dynamics-based model of education reform is developed. Then, based on this model, a series of simulation experiments are carried out to find main factors affecting improvement of CCLPSSS. Results show that: 1) this model could simulate trends of CCLPSSS under different educational reform measures; 2) Measures including teaching mode reform, development and application of AI-based new teaching method, implementation of Double Reduction in compulsory education, implementation of deepening education evaluation reform policy, and development and application of AI-based education evaluation technology could play significant roles in promoting CCLPSSS and further strengthening cultivation of AI compound talents.

Style transfer has received much attention, and Chinese character style transfer is an important application. In the previous Chinese character style transfer methods, most of the methods separately establish a mapping from source font to target Chinese character for each specific target font. It is impossible to extend a single model to other styles. The model training is based on the amount of Chinese character data from a single font, and the demand of the character is greater. In fact, different font style transfer tasks have certain commonalities. Therefore, we use multiple fonts in the data set and combine these fonts into multiple sets of Chinese character style transfer tasks. These tasks will be trained at the same time, instead of that only one font style transfer task training is achieved at a time like the previous work. In order to achieve the purpose of extracting and fusing the content features and style feature, we propose a style transfer network composed of content encoder, style encoder, feature fusion module, and decoder, based on the fusion of multi-scale content and style features. Through the experimental results, it can be found that, using our method, training the style transfer of multiple fonts at the same time can help any one of them to generate better results with only a few samples.

Aiming at the problems of traditional transient electromagnetic signal noise reduction methods that have poor noise reduction effects and excessive noise reduction to varying degrees,a transient electromagnetic signal noise reduction algorithm based on VMD and ICA is *** use VMD decomposition to adaptively decompose the original signal into multiple intrinsic mode functions（IMF）,select the noise component according to the autocorrelation criterion,and then use the independent component analysis algorithm based on kurtosis maximization to achieve transient electromagnetic signal best *** with the traditional EMD noise reduction method,we found that the method proposed in this paper not only has a good noise reduction effect,but also retains more signal *** algorithm proposed in this paper is an effective method for noise reduction of transient electromagnetic signals,and it has important value for transient electromagnetic detection to improve detection accuracy.

An improved method for spectral reflectance reconstruction from the RGB response of the digital camera is proposed by deep convolution neural network. The proposed method learns a fusion mapping theory that represents the basic characteristics of spectral reflectance, including spectral nonlinear mapping and spatial similarity. The deep residual network greatly deepens the network structure and improves the performance of the model, enabling the recovery network to make full use of the sample structure information to accurately recover the spectral reflectance. The performance of the method is compared with several existing methods in the cases of the same experimental data set. Experimental results show that the proposed method has the best accuracy in estimating spectral reflectance and colorimetric values in most cases in comparison with existing methods.

Introduction of virtual reality technology enriches the expression of traditional games and greatly improves the sense of substitution and interactive experience of users. Realization of virtual reality is inseparable from artificial intelligence technology. In order to improve immersion and interactivity of virtual reality games, it is necessary to propose more intelligent solutions to existing technologies. This paper aims to discuss some intelligent methods of virtual reality games. Firstly, it discusses artificial intelligence means to enhance the virtual reality experience, which can improve the tracking and force / tactile interaction system of existing virtual reality games from software and hardware aspects; Then it proposes the concept of human-machine hybrid enhanced intelligence: by introducing human cognitive model to improve perception and decision-making ability of virtual reality games, so as to make interaction of virtual reality games more friendly and more real.

This paper studies the problem of trajectory tracking control for directional drilling in underground coal mine by devising a robust model predictive control method. First, a directional drilling trajectory extension model is obtained by the linearization of a drilling tool kinematic model through the Taylor series expansion in the borehole depth domain. Then, in view of the influence of the uncertainty of the drilling tool slope and external interference, a robust model predictive control method is introduced in the form of an optimal control problem. A sufficient condition is obtained to calculate the corresponding controller gain matrix on the premise of satisfying the stability of the closedloop control system and the H∞ performance index. At last, the effectiveness of our method is illustrated through simulation analysis. Compared with model predictive control, robust model predictive control directly incorporates the uncertainty of the drilling tool slope and external interference into the control design, enabling it to better adapt to the complex and variable underground coal mine environment. © 2025 IEEE.

Using multimodal technology to infer learners’ cognitive processes is an important means to support personalized learning. Previous cognitive process analysis is more about subjective reasoning, and less about combining physiological signals. With the rapid development of virtual reality technology, new requirements and more immersive schemes for learner’s cognitive process inferring have been proposed. Based on this, this paper proposes an immersive learning system with multimodal cognitive processes inference, which is composed of macro, mesoscopic and micro environments. The system analyzes learner’s actions, emotions and attention to infer learner’s cognitive process through more comprehensive and objective multimodal data. The system also combines eye movement, brainwaves and other data, and proposes a multimodal data acquisition and analysis scheme using HMD-based VR. This paper also provides an immersive learning cognitive processes inference scheme for individual online learning, offline classroom learning scenarios.

Distributed Cooperative Search Method for Multi-Uav with Unstable Communications

In search-attack and search-rescue tasks performed by multi-UAV, cooperative search plays an important part. The majority of approaches in use today assume that the UAV swarm's communication network is complete. However, these links are susceptible to environmental changes or adversary interference. Aiming at cooperative search in search-attack and search-rescue tasks, we propose a distributed cooperative search method for multi-UAV with unstable communications (DCS-UC), which is developed based on ant colony optimization (ACO). In this method, three algorithms are presented to enable the UAV swarm to conduct online cooperative search efficiently and safely. Firstly, an algorithm of pheromone matrix consensus update used in ACO is designed under switching and connected topology graphs, which can make the pheromone matrix maintained by each UAV achieve consensus, so that the cooperative efficiency of the UAV swarm is improved. Then, a position consensus update algorithm is presented where the position vector, including the positions of all the UAVs in each UAV, can achieve consensus under switching and connected topology graphs. Finally, to tackle the collision avoidance of all the UAVs, an algorithm of collision avoidance between UAVs is designed by using the obtained consistent positions of all the UAVs, which can make the UAV swarm conduct cooperative search safely. Extensive physical simulation results carried out in Gazebo verify the advantages of our multi-UAV cooperative search method. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.
