Glucocorticoid receptor signaling in the brain and its involvement in cognitive function

A new kind of group coordination control problemgroup hybrid coordination control is investigated in this *** group hybrid coordination control means that in a whole multi-agent system(MAS)that consists of two subgroups with communications between them,agents in the two subgroups achieve consensus and containment,*** MASs with both time-delays and additive noises,two group control protocols are proposed to solve this problem for the containment-oriented case and consensus-oriented case,*** developing a new analysis idea,some sufficient conditions and necessary conditions related to the communication intensity betw een the two subgroups are obtained for the following two types of group hybrid coordination behavior:1)Agents in one subgroup and in another subgroup achieve weak consensus and containment,respectively;2)Agents in one subgroup and in another subgroup achieve strong consensus and containment,*** is revealed that the decay of the communication impact betw een the two subgroups is necessary for the consensus-oriented ***,the validity of the group control results is verified by several simulation examples.

Design and characteristic research of a novel electromechanical-hydraulic hybrid actuator with two transmission mechanisms

Servo-hydraulic actuators(SHAs)are widely used in mechanical equipment to drive heavy-duty ***,their energy efficiency is low,and their motion characteristics are inevitably affected by uncertain *** actuators(EMAs)possess superior energy efficiency and motion ***,they cannot easily drive heavy-duty mechanisms because of weak bearing *** study proposes and designs a novel electromechanical-hydraulic hybrid actuator(EMHA)that integrates the advantages of EMA and *** mainly features two transmission *** piston of the hydraulic transmission mechanism and the ball screw pair of the electromechanical transmission mechanism are mechanically fixed together through screw bolts,realizing the integration of two types of transmission *** control scheme of the electromechanical transmission mechanism is used for motion control,and the hydraulic transmission mechanism is used for power ***,the mathematical model,structure,and parameter design of the new EMHA are ***,the EMHA prototype and test platform are *** test results prove that the EMHA has good working characteristics and high energy *** with the valve-controlled hydraulic cylinder system,EMHA exhibits a velocity tracking error and energy consumption reduced by 49.7% and 54%,respectively,under the same working conditions.

Predicting circRNA-Disease Associations by Using Multi-Biomolecular Networks Based on Variational Graph Auto-Encoder with Attention Mechanism

CircRNA-disease association(CDA) can provide a new direction for the treatment of diseases. However,traditional biological experiment is time-consuming and expensive, this urges us to propose the reliable computational model to predict the associations between circRNAs and diseases. And there is existing more and more evidence indicates that the combination of multi-biomolecular information can improve the prediction accuracy. We propose a novel computational model for CDA prediction named MBCDA, we collect the multi-biomolecular information including circRNA, disease, miRNA and lncRNA based on 6 databases, and construct three heterogeneous network among them, then the multi-heads graph attention networks are applied to these three networks to extract the features of circRNAs and diseases from different views, the obtained features are put into variational graph auto-encoder(VGAE) network to learn the latent distributions of the nodes, a fully connected neural network is adopted to further process the output of VGAE and uses sigmoid function to obtain the predicted probabilities of circRNA-disease *** a result, MBCDA achieved the values of AUC and AUPR under 5-fold cross-validation of 0.893 and 0.887. MBCDA was applied to the analysis of the top-25 predicted associations between circRNAs and diseases, these experimental results show that our proposed MBCDA is a powerful computational model for CDA prediction.

This paper introduces D-Fusion SLAM, an advanced VSLAM system based on ORB-SLAM2. D-Fusion SLAM integrates depth information to enhance feature selection, aiming to improve accuracy and speed in visual SLAM applications. The system mainly comprises two modules: an image grid filtering module based on grayscale information and a feature selection module integrating depth information. These modules effectively eliminate redundant and useless features, ensuring high-quality features for pose estimation. We tested D-Fusion SLAM on the TUM dataset and compared it with ORB-SLAM2. Experimental results demonstrate that D-Fusion SLAM outperforms ORB-SLAM2, significantly enhancing the system's accuracy and robustness. © 2025, Politechnica University of Bucharest. In the cement production process, the decomposer outlet temperature control faces challenges such as large time delay and multiple disturbances. A general control system cannot handle time delay and disturbances effectively at the same time. Therefore, in this paper, we consider the problem of disturbances in time-delay systems and suppress the disturbances present in the outlet temperature control of the decomposer by combining equivalent-input-disturbance (EID) and Model Predictive control (MPC), where EID can estimate the disturbances and apply them to the input channels of the system, which do not require any information about the disturbances. Finally simulations are carried out in the catabolizer system and the results indicate that this system is able to suppress the perturbations effectively in time delay systems. © 2024 IEEE.

In the cement production process, the speed of grate coolers directly affects the residence time and cooling effect of cement clinker. Its effective control is of great significance to ensuring cement quality. But the adjustment of grate speed is a complex process, involving moderate cooling air, uniform clinker thickness, regulated output and other constraints. In this study, an Auto-Regressive with exogenous input (ARX) grate cooler prediction model is developed using a data-driven approach based on a company’s cement production line, a model predictive control (MPC) approach is employed for the purpose of optimising the speed of the grate cooler based on the ARX model. The results demonstrate that the method of MPC exhibits greater stability than the method of PID, and that MPC technology has good efficacy and superiority in the adjustment of grate speed. © 2024 IEEE.
