In this paper, we combined the quorum sensing mechanism of bacteria with the Repressilator oscillator to describe the rhythmicity of bacteria. It is found that the transmission of signal molecules between cells produces a star network, and the dynamical equation of the star network is given. Then, the error projection synchronization of star networks is defined and analyzed. A Lyapunov function is constructed to prove that the error system will be close to zero within a certain time under the control of the controller. Finally, a four node star network is used for simulation. In this paper we consider a problem in task execution for multi-robot trajectory planning with collision avoidance in a shared working environment. Consider two or more robots generating trajectories towards their respective goal positions. The collision may occur if their trajectory coordinates are intersecting at a point or follow the same path segment simultaneously. The central planner is introduced to control robot motion in the collision state and to reduce the complexity of the multi-robot path planning system. The global path for every robot is generated by the $\mathrm{A}^{*}$ algorithm in a grid-based environment. The path has presented a sequence of optimal grid numbers and later transformed into Cartesian coordinates for smooth trajectory generation. The central planner takes an optimal grid sequence for every robot to analyze the collision state according to its cost value. It regenerates the trajectories to minimize the complexity cost value and replaces the previous trajectory based on minimum cost value. In the collision state, the central planner allows one robot at a time to pass along the conflict path segment and hold others in queue at a safety offset distance until the previous robot passes safely. The algorithm has been applied to robots working in a shared environment in complex maps and the simulations is performed with MATLAB to calculate the efficiency of this approach for handling collision states in a multi-robot path planning system.

In order to more accurately predict the impact of solid oxide fuel cells to stack life on standby and shutdown, this paper proposes a modeling method based on experimental data. Which is based on Elman neural network(NN). At the same time, a main factor is considered in the modeling process which is the effect of cooling rate on the stack. In the process of modeling, the most obvious cooling rate is used to modeling. There are two different influencing factors on classify, the training set and the verification set respectively. After the reliability of the model, the Solid Oxide Fuel cell (SOFC) stack life prediction is carried out. From the predict results and the experimental results, it is found that the prediction results are good and the high precision.

Solid oxide fuel cell is a device that can convert chemical energy directly into electricity. Its advantages, such as high efficiency, low emission, quiet operation, fuel flexibility, bring about the broad application prospect. However, it is difficult to obtain the temperature distribution in the existing planar cross flow solid oxide fuel cell through the experiment. In this paper, a control orient two-dimensional differential equation model is established for a planar cross flow solid oxide fuel cell based on the finite node method, and an iterative algorithm for calculating the real time voltage of the fuel cell is proposed for the model. Based on the model, the temperature distribution of the fuel cell in the test and system configuration is simulated. The simulation results show that the model can reflect the thermoelectric characteristics of the planar cross flow solid oxide fuel cell, especially the temperature distribution of the fuel cell. The SOFC temperature distribution modeling in this paper is helpful for the development of temperature distribution observers and design related control methods in later studies.

In the intelligent transportation system, vehicle detection is one of the essential technologies in obstacle avoidance and navigation, however the existing vehicle detection methods cannot meet the actual needs. This paper presents a vehicle detection method combines the intensity and distance information of point cloud, which improves the segmentation performance of nearby objects. Specifically, the data of point cloud collected by lidar is preprocessed first. Then the processed point cloud is clustered by combining its coordinate and intensity information. Finally, the clustered suspected targets are fed to the random forest classifier. Our method can efficiently detect and classify targets in large-scale disordered 3D point cloud with high accuracy. In the real-scanned Livox Mid-40 Lidar dataset, our proposed method improves the detection accuracy by 31% compared with the traditional Euclidean clustering.

The multi-point dynamic aggregation (MPDA) is a typical task planning problem. In order to solve the MPDA problem efficiently, a hybrid differential evolution (DE) and estimation of distribution algorithm (EDA) called DE-EDA is proposed in this paper, which combines the merits of DE and EDA. The DE-EDA has been applied to multiple MPDA instances of different scales, and compared with EDA and two versions of DE in convergence speed and solution quality separately. The results demonstrate the DE-EDA can solve the MPDA problem effectively. © 2018 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

This summary addresses the input-to-state stability (ISS) and integral ISS (iISS) problems of impulsive switched nonlinear time-delay systems (ISNTDSs) under two asynchronous switching effects. In our investigated systems, impulsive instants and switching instants do not necessarily coincide with each other. Meanwhile, systems switching signals are not simultaneous with the corresponding controllers switching signals, which will induce instability seriously, and cause many difficulties and challenges. By utilizing methods of Lyapunov-Krasovskii and Lyapunov-Razumikhin, mode-dependent average dwell time approach, and mode-dependent average impulsive interval technique, some stability criteria are presented for ISNTDSs under two asynchronous switching effects. Our proposed results improve the related existing results on the same topic by removing some restrictive conditions and cover some existing results as special cases. Finally, some simulation examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and advantages of our results.

Video target tracking is an important research topic in computer vision, and has been widely used in video surveillance, robot, human-computer interaction and so on. The emergence of large data age and the emergence of in-depth learning methods provide a new opportunity for the study of video target tracking. This paper first analyzes the research problems of video target tracking at present, analyzes the characteristics and trends of video target tracking in the new period, introduces the emerging recursive neural network frame structure, combined with Kalman filterAnd the experimental results show that the accuracy and robustness of the target tracking based on the convolution neural network algorithm are all good.

This paper proposes a coupling matrix element optimization method for microwave filters. The traditional method is more complex and does not directly optimize the filter coupling matrix elements. The firefly algorithm optimization method used in this paper directly optimizes the elements of the N + 2 order coupling matrix. Compared with the traditional method, it has better speed and optimization effect. First, the elements of the specific coupling matrix are introduced into the optimization algorithm to be executed, then the matrix is iterated through the set objective function. Finally, when the optimized data is within the allowable range, the optimization of the elements of the coupling matrix is stopped and optimization is performed. The resulting coupling matrix outputs the response. To prove the effectiveness of the proposed method, three methods were used to optimize the coupling matrix elements of the fourth-order filter and compare the final optimization results.

In modern power systems, load frequency control (LFC) scheme usually operates in the discrete mode, while the most existing LFC schemes are designed in the continuous mode, such that those LFC schemes do not work usually in their best manner in practice. In this paper, a method of state-feedback controller design of load frequency control (LFC) for one-area system is discussed in continuous-discrete mode via sampled-data control scheme. At first, the model of LFC is constructed in continuous-discrete mode by using the input delay method. Then, a new method is present to design a state-feedback controller. Finally, a case study is given to show the effectiveness and the benefits of the proposed method. © 2018 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.
