This paper presents a novel rover robot construction progress which is named Patrol-s. The main contribution of constructing this robot is based on reducing the vibrations which are effected on the robot body from the movement surface. In order to achieve this purpose,the design of the proposed robot is classified in three main parts, namely, wheels, middle body and stabilizer parts. The wheels are composed of big circular disks, half circular legs and springs. The springs are installed to reduce the effects of environment strokes on the robot, in the proposed robot, the half circular legs are used in order to facilitate obstacle planning. The stabilizer parts are used in order to prevent the rotation of middle body and upward movement of slope. The controlling of this robot is an open loop control. In order to improve the control performance several sensors are applied on the robot body to provide better information from the situation of the proposed robot. In order to find the compatible material and predict some of the robot reaction in different situation, the dynamic behaviour is simulated in ADAMS MSC software. Finally, the simulation results validated the desired performance of the proposed robot.

This paper presents a novel spherical rolling robot and the design procedure of an adaptive sliding mode controller for the proposed robot. Towards containing the uncertainties, the sliding mode controller is utilized and simulation tests represent the effectiveness of this method. However, the chattering phenomenon in the robot operation is the main insufficiency of this controller. Hence, in order to present a more accurate controller, sliding mode controller is equipped with an identification method which works in an online manner for identifying the exact model of the robot. The provided identification procedure is based on Recursive Least Square approach, which is one of the most promising approaches toward identifying the model. It should be also noted that, this adaptive controller identify the model without taking into account any data from the derived model.

This paper describes a robust template matching algorithm undergoing rotation-scaling-translation (RST) variations via our proposed spiral projection model (SPM). Compared to other model-based methods, the proposed algorithm provides the structural and statistical information about the template in a more general and easier to comprehend format. The well-defined spiral-based projection provides high sensitivity and high scanning efficiency compared with ring projection [1]. It also preserves the inherent spatial information better than the radial projection [2]. In addition, we introduced a novel image warping scheme called the spiral aggregation map (SAM). It not only provides an efficient method for generating the desired projection profiles for matching, it also enables us to determine the rotation angle, and is invariant to scale changes. The experimental evaluation shows that the properties of the algorithm achieved very attractive results.

With the enormous growth of online reviews in Internet, sentiment analysis has received more and more attention in information retrieval and natural language processing community. Up to now there are very few researches conducted on sentiment analysis for Persian documents. This paper considers the problem of sentiment classification for online customer reviews in Persian language. One of the challenges of Persian language is using of a wide variety of declensional suffixes. Another common problem of Persian text is word spacing. In Persian in addition to white space as interwords space, an intra-word space called pseudo-space separates word's part. One more noticeable challenge in customer reviews in Persian language is that of utilizing many informal or colloquial words in text. In this paper we study these challenges by proposing a model for sentiment classification of Persian review documents. The proposed model is based on a lemmatization approach for Persian language and is employed Naive Bayes learning algorithm for classification. Additionally we present a new feature selection method based on the mutual information method to extract the best feature collection from the initial extracted features. Finally we evaluate the performance of the model on a manually gathered collection of cellphone reviews, where the results show the effectiveness of the proposed model.

This paper illustrates three levels of video units for video segmentation from coarse to fine granularity, which include highlights, attentive visual change, and game status change. The boundaries between video shots are commonly known as scene change and the action of segmenting a video sequence into multiple shots is called scene change detection. However, different applications are suitable for different fine granularities of the shot boundary. In this paper, we take the content semantic into consideration to segment the video. In performance evaluation, we choose the sports programs as the testing data, because the sports video entertains large population of audiences and is very popular. The experimental results show the efficiency of the proposed method for sports programs.
