Detection of scab in wheat ears using in situ hyperspectral data and support vector machine optimized by genetic algorithm

A new method was proposed to extract sensitive features and to construct a monitoring model for wheat scab based on in situ hyperspectral data of wheat ears to achieve effective prevention and control and provide theoretical support for its large-scale *** sensitive features were selected through correlation analysis and wavelet *** features were as follows:three original bands of 350-400 nm,500-600 nm,and 720-1000 nm;three vegetation indices of modified simple ratio(MSR),normalized difference vegetation index,and structural independent pigment index;and two wavelet features of WF01 and *** combining the selected sensitive features with support vector machine(SVM)and SVM optimized by genetic algorithm(GASVM),a total of 16 monitoring models were built,and the monitoring accuracies of the two types of models were *** ability of the monitoring models built by GASVM to identify scab was better than that of SVM algorithm under the same characteristic *** the 16 models,MSR combined with GASVM had an overall accuracy of 75%and a Kappa coefficient of *** can be used to monitor wheat scab and its application can improve the accuracy of disease monitoring.

Background: Network pharmacology has become crucial for elucidating the mechanisms underlying traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). However, challenges persist in processing and visualizing complex data related to TCM network pharmacology (TCMNP). To address this, we developed ''TCMNP'', a specialized database and R package within the R environment, aimed at enhancing data processing and visualization capabilities for TCM research. Methods: ''TCMNP'' integrates data from prominent databases, including DrugBank, TCMSP, ETCM, DisGeNET, and OMIM, to establish a comprehensive relational framework connecting TCM prescriptions, medicinal materials, bioactive ingredients, therapeutic targets, and associated diseases. Leveraging packages such as ''dplyr'', ''clusterProfiler'', ''ggplot2'', and ''circlize'', we created a suite of functions that facilitate streamlined data analysis and advanced visualizations within R. Results: ''TCMNP'' supports comprehensive analysis and visualization workflows for TCM compounds, individual herbs, active ingredients, molecular targets, and biological pathways. The database comprises 571 TCM herbs, 17,118 unique ingredients, 10,013 diseases, and 15,956 targets, enabling automated processes from compound component screening to target and pathway enrichment analysis. Additional features include protein-protein interaction mapping and transcription factor-gene target analysis, complemented by a user-friendly interface for generating TCM network pharmacology visualizations. ''TCMNP'' is accessible at https://***/tcmnp, and the package available at https://***/tcmlab/TCMNP. Conclusion: ''TCMNP'' database and package provide user-friendly visualization tools for analyzing the components of TCM formulas and their potential therapeutic effects on diseases. We anticipate that ''TCMNP'' will help to explore the mechanism of TCM to treat diseases. © 2024

Bike-Sharing Systems (BSSs) have become a popular solution to urban sustainability concerns, providing affordable and environmentally friendly transportation. However, modeling and predicting shared-bike flow patterns are essential for developing intelligent transportation systems and facilitating city management. Despite the existence of several inflow and outflow prediction models, certain unresolved issues remain, including the inability to differentiate and capture heterogeneous dynamic relationships within daily flows, and the suboptimal utilization of historical flow data for forecasting. To address these limitations, we propose MVRC (Multi-View Relational Framework based on Clustering), a novel deep-learning framework for precise inflow and outflow prediction. The MVRC framework models three types of heterogeneous dynamic flow relationships during different periods of the day. Initially, we introduce a novel clustering method to group nearby stations exhibiting similar patterns, followed by creating a dynamic memory module to store and update edge attributes based on the time of day. Furthermore, the dynamic edge fusion mechanism effectively integrates heterogeneous, time-evolving flow features, capturing their varying impacts. To further enhance the model's capabilities, an offline component that leverages historical data is incorporated, improving performance during testing. Extensive experiments conducted on real datasets from New York City and Washington, D.C., demonstrate the superior prediction efficiency and framework effectiveness of the MVRC framework compared to existing state-of-the-art techniques. These results highlight the practicality and efficacy of MVRC in terms of prediction accuracy and stability. © 2025

Dual Consistent Constraint via Disentangled Consistency and Complementarity for Multi-view Clustering

Multi-view clustering can explore common semantics from multiple views and has received increasing attention in recent years. However, current methods focus on learning consistency in representation, neglecting the contribution of each view’s complementarity aspect in representation learning. This limit poses a significant challenge in multi-view representation learning. This paper proposes a novel multi-view clustering framework that introduces a disentangled variational autoencoder that separates multi-view into shared and private information, i.e., consistency and complementarity information. We first learn informative and consistent representations by maximizing mutual information across different views through contrastive learning. This process will ignore complementary information. Then, we employ consistency inference constraints to explicitly utilize complementary information when attempting to seek the consistency of shared information across all views. Specifically, we perform a within-reconstruction using the private and shared information of each view and a cross-reconstruction using the shared information of all views. The dual consistency constraints are not only effective in improving the representation quality of data but also easy to extend to other scenarios, especially in complex multi-view scenes. This could be the first attempt to employ dual consistent constraint in a unified MVC theoretical framework. During the training procedure, the consistency and complementarity features are jointly optimized. Extensive experiments show that our method outperforms baseline methods. © 2025, CC BY.

Spatiotemporal estimation and local driver analysis of fractional vegetation coverage in the Three-North region, China

Understanding the spatio-temporal dynamics of fractional vegetation coverage (FVC) and its driving factors is imperative for advancing ecological management and fostering sustainable development. Towards the Three-North region of China, five distinct nonnegative matrix factorization models were employed to estimate FVC. The quadratic optimization derived from improved constrained nonnegative matrix factorization, IC-NMF 2 , was implemented to refine FVC estimation from 2000 to 2022. The spatial evolution pattern and change trend analysis were performed. The global and local drivers of FVC were analyzed using optimal parameter-based geographic detector (OPGD) and geographically weighted random forest (GWRF) model. The findings indicated that the IC-NMF 2 model outperformed other models in estimation accuracy and stability. FVC in the Three-North region had notable directional and regional characteristics, with a predominant tendency of either improvement or relative stability. However, localized degradation was observed, particularly in the Tianshan Mountains and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Both OPGD and GWRF analyses consistently identified average relative humidity and accumulated precipitation as the primary global drivers of FVC, which showed a bi-enhance interactive effect. Average relative humidity was the first local influencing factor of FVC in most regions, showing strong spatial alignment with FVC distributions. By integrating local factor importance with trend analysis, more precise recommendations for ecological protection and management for sub-regions can be formulated. This study demonstrates great potential for application in other regions, especially in monitoring vegetation ecosystems and their dynamic responses to global climate changes in desert areas.

In this study, the data of laws and regulations in the discipline inspection and supervision field were firstly obtained from the latest "Regulations on Discipline Punishment of the Communist Party of China"(fourth edition), and the knowledge graph of laws and regulations in the discipline inspection and supervision field was constructed after pretreatment. Secondly, based on the knowledge graph of discipline inspection and supervision laws and regulations, the core semantic matching algorithm of the question answering system is tested and the TF-IDF model with the highest accuracy in TOP1 is selected to finally realize the question answering system of discipline inspection and supervision laws and regulations. © 2021 ACM.

Aiming at the k-winners-take-all(kWTA)operation,this paper proposes a gradient-based differential kWTA(GDk WTA)*** obtaining the network,theorems and related proofs are provided to guarantee the exponential convergence and noise resistance of the proposed GD-kWTA ***,numerical simulations are conducted to substantiate the preferable performance of the proposed network as compared with the traditional ***,the GD-k WTA network,backed with a consensus filter,is utilized as a robust control scheme for modeling the competition behavior in the multi-robot coordination,thereby further demonstrating its effectiveness and feasibility.

As a unique local dialect, Waxiang dialect carries rich regional culture and historical information. By constructing the 'Xuewatong' APP- Waxiang dialect digital protection platform, based on cloud storage technology, digital resource display, multimedia integration and other technologies, and providing learning resources through big data analysis of user needs, it can effectively promote the digital recording and preservation of Waxiang dialect language resources, and significantly improve the dissemination and educational effect of Waxiang dialect culture, showing the great potential of digital technology in dialect protection. © 2024 IEEE.

Optimizing the spatial organization of rural settlements based on life quality

Optimizing rural settlements is an important measure to cope with rural decline, and improve the quality of rural life and attractions. This study introduces the "life quality theory". Based on the mechanisms governing the interactions between rural settlement space and life quality, this study examines how to optimize the spatial organization of rural settlements. Three aspects are evaluated – the integration of rural settlement spatial functions, optimization of spatial structure, and regulation of spatial scale – with the objective of building an optimization mode and framework for the spatial organization of rural settlements with high life quality. Our results suggest the following:(1) The settlement is the spatial carrier of life quality, which is an essential settlement component, and these two aspects influence and improve each other. Therefore, reasonable rural settlement space is an important precondition for higher life quality.(2) The spatial function types of rural settlements can be divided into those that maintain livelihoods, develop industry, and upgrade life quality. Optimizing spatial organization of rural settlements based on life quality requires promoting the maintenance of livelihood, integration of industrial development, and implantation in quality improvement.(3) There are two important components of optimizing the spatial organization of rural settlements. One is promoting the organic concentration of living, agricultural, and industrial spaces, the reasonable distribution of social intercourse, recreational, and services spaces, and the organic balance of living, production, and ecological spaces, so as to reasonably optimize the combination of internal spatial types in settlements. The other is forming a functional structure level of a "comprehensive village–featured village" and building spatial organization settlement modes connected by rural roads by relocating and adjusting the function of villages.
