Block-Based Projection Matrix Design for Compressed Sensing

The objective of optimizing a projection matrix is to decrease the mutual coherence between a projection matrix and a basis matrix. In this paper, a novel block-based method is proposed to design a projection matrix in compressed sensing. Here, the projection matrix is divided into two blocks. The relationship between the two blocks was obtained by reasoning and proving. Theoretical analysis demonstrates that the mutual coherence between the whole projection matrix and the whole basis matrix keeps as good as the mutual coherence between the block matrix and blocked basis matrix. Experimental results show that the proposed method obtains better performance compared to existing methods.

The Inner Product Masking(IPM)scheme has been shown to provide higher theoretical security guarantees than the BooleanMasking(BM).This scheme aims to increase the algebraic complexity of the coding to achieve a higher level of *** previous work unfolds when certain(adversarial and implementation)conditions are met,and we seek to complement these investigations by understanding what happens when these conditions deviate from their expected *** this paper,we investigate the security characteristics of IPM under different *** adversarial condition,the security properties of first-order IPMs obtained through parametric characterization are preserved in the face of univariate and bivariate *** implementation condition,we construct two new polynomial leakage functions to observe the nonlinear leakage of the IPM and connect the security order amplification to the nonlinear *** observe that the security of IPMis affected by the degree and the linear component in the leakage *** addition,the comparison experiments from the coefficients,signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the public parameter show that the security properties of the IPM are highly implementation-dependent.

SFGA-CPA: A Novel Screening Correlation Power Analysis Framework Based on Genetic Algorithm

Correlation power analysis(CPA)combined with genetic algorithms(GA)now achieves greater attack efficiency and can recover all subkeys ***,two issues in GA-based CPA still need to be addressed:key degeneration and slow evolution within *** challenges significantly hinder key recovery *** paper proposes a screening correlation power analysis framework combined with a genetic algorithm,named SFGA-CPA,to address these ***-CPA introduces three operations designed to exploit CPA characteris-tics:propagative operation,constrained crossover,and constrained ***,the propagative operation accelerates population evolution by maximizing the number of correct bytes in each ***,the constrained crossover and mutation operations effectively address key degeneration by preventing the compromise of correct ***,an intelligent search method is proposed to identify optimal parameters,further improving attack *** were conducted on both simulated environments and real power traces collected from the SAKURA-G *** the case of simulation,SFGA-CPA reduces the number of traces by 27.3%and 60%compared to CPA based on multiple screening methods(MS-CPA)and CPA based on simple GA method(SGA-CPA)when the success rate reaches 90%.Moreover,real experimental results on the SAKURA-G platform demonstrate that our approach outperforms other methods.

Improved Security for Android System based on Multi-Chaotic Maps using a Novel Image Encryption Algorithm

Aimed at the unsatisfactory effect of security in mobile cloud computing, we propose a novel image encryption algorithm by using the Improved Fruit Fly Optimization Algorithm-Artificial Bee Colony (hereafter referred to as IFOA-ABC). First, the feature of task scheduling function in mobile cloud computing is described to set up the task scheduling function;second, the population of fruit fly optimization algorithm is initialized by using orthogonal array and quantitative techniques, and the boundary of fruit fly optimization algorithm is processed, the step size in search is adjusted dynamically, and the artificial bee colony algorithm is used to help fruit fly optimization algorithm develop the global optimal solution;in the simulation experiment, the IFOA-ABC algorithm has obvious advantages over other intelligent algorithms in the comparison of four indicators of mobile cloud task scheduling, which means that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the privacy and efficiency of cloud computing scheduling. © 2019 Totem Publisher, Inc. This paper presents a parallel artificial immune model termed as tower master-slave model (TMSM) for solving optimising problems. Based on TMSM, the parallel immune memory clonal selection algorithm (PIMCSA) is also proposed. TMSM is a two level coarse-grained parallel artificial immune model with distributed immune response and distributed immune memory. In PIMCSA, vaccines are extracted and migrated between populations rather than individual migration as has been done in parallel genetic algorithms. It is a good balance between population diversity and the convergent speed. Experimental results on the numerical optimization and TSP problems show that PIMCSA achieves good performance in terms of both solution quality and computation time. © 2009 IEEE.

Mimicking synaptic plasticity based on TiO 2 /MgO film resistive switching device

The TiO 2 /MgO composite film was prepared via atomic layer deposition, exhibiting superior resistive switching (RS) performance compared to pure MgO film, including a higher resistance ratio (R off /R on ) and enhanced retention. The Ag/TiO 2 /MgO/ITO device exhibited gradual RS characteristics, making it suitable for neuromorphic applications. The device also displayed excellent multilevel RS properties analogous to synaptic plasticity. When a series of positive or negative scanning voltages with progressively increasing amplitudes were applied, the resistance of the device switched and remained at correspondingly higher or lower states, effectively mimicking synaptic potentiation or depression in an amplitude-dependent manner. Furthermore, long-term potentiation and depression behaviors were observed under the time-dependent stimulation. As the pulse voltage amplitude increased, fewer pulses were required to set the device to a specific state. Conversely, lower voltage necessitated more pulses to facilitate Ag ions migration and conductive filament formation. This dynamic mimics synaptic weight modulation, where the evaluation of filaments over time corresponds to synaptic adjustment. Therefore, applying higher or lower amplitude voltages for longer or shorter durations aligns with the observation, where varying stimuli to the presynaptic membrane modulate synaptic weight, thereby strengthening (and weakening) the synaptic signal. The pulse amplitude and duration thresholds modulate the RS behavior of the composite TiO 2 /MgO film effectively mimic the learning and forgetting processes of human brain memory.

Whole genome sequences are generally accepted as excellent tools for studying evolutionary relationships. Due to the problems caused by the uncertainty in alignment, existing tools for phylogenetic analysis based on multiple alignments could not be directly applied to the whole-genome comparison and phylogenomic studies. There has been a growing interest in alignment-free methods for phylogenetic analysis using complete genome data. The "distances" used in these alignment-free methods are not proper distance metrics in the strict mathematical sense. In this study, we first review them in a more general frame — dissimilarity. Then we propose some new dissimilarities for phylogenetic analysis. Last three genome datasets are employed to evaluate these dissimilarities from a biological point of view. © 2014 Bentham Science Publishers.
