2D Nb_(2)CT_(x) MXene/MoS_(2) heterostructure construction for nonlinear optical absorption modulation

Two-dimensional(2D)nonlinear optical mediums with high and tunable light modulation capability can significantly stimulate the development of ultrathin,compact,and integrated optoelectronics devices and photonic elements.2D carbides and nitrides of transition metals(MXenes)are a new class of 2D materials with excellent intrinsic and strong light-matter interaction ***,the current understanding of their photo-physical properties and strategies for improving optical performance is *** address this issue,we rationally designed and in situ synthesized a 2D Nb_(2)C/MoS_(2) heterostructure that outperforms pristine Nb2C in both linear and nonlinear optical *** agreement between experimental and theoretical results demonstrated that the Nb_(2)C/MoS_(2) inherited the preponderance of Nb_(2)C and MoS_(2) in absorption at different wavelengths,resulting in the broadband enhanced optical absorption *** addition to linear optical modulation,we also achieved stronger near infrared nonlinear optical modulation,with a nonlinear absorption coefficient of Nb_(2)C/MoS_(2) being more than two times that of the pristine Nb_(2)*** results were supported by the band alinement model which was determined by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)experiment and first-principal theory *** presented facile synthesis approach and robust light modulation strategy pave the way for broadband optoelectronic devices and optical modulators.

HRAM-VITON: High-Resolution Virtual Try-On with Attention Mechanism

The objective of image-based virtual try-on is to seamlessly integrate clothing onto a target image, generating a realistic representation of the character in the specified attire. However, existing virtual try-on methods frequently encounter challenges, including misalignment between the body and clothing, noticeable artifacts, and the loss of intricate garment details. To overcome these challenges, we introduce a two-stage high-resolution virtual try-on framework that integrates an attention mechanism, comprising a garment warping stage and an image generation stage. During the garment warping stage, we incorporate a channel attention mechanism to effectively retain the critical features of the garment, addressing challenges such as the loss of patterns, colors, and other essential details commonly observed in virtual try-on images produced by existing methods. During the image generation stage, with the aim of maximizing the utilization of the information proffered by the input image, the input features undergo double sampling within the normalization procedure, thereby enhancing the detail fidelity and clothing alignment efficacy of the output image. Experimental evaluations conducted on high-resolution datasets validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Results demonstrate significant improvements in preserving garment details, reducing artifacts, and achieving superior alignment between the clothing and body compared to baseline methods, establishing its advantage in generating realistic and high-quality virtual try-on images.

Quantum Fisher information(QFI)associated with local metrology has been used to parameter estimation in open quantum *** this work,we calculated the QFI for a moving Unruh-DeWitt detector coupled with massless scalar fields in n-dimensional spacetime,and analyzed the behavior of QFI with various parameters,such as the dimension of spacetime,evolution time,and Unruh *** discovered that the QFI of state parameter decreases monotonically from 1 to 0 over ***,we noted that the QFI for small evolution times is several orders of magnitude higher than the QFI for long evolution *** also found that the value of QFI decreases at first and then stabilizes as the Unruh temperature *** was observed that the QFI depends on initial state parameterθ,and Fθis the maximum forθ=0 orθ=π,Fφis the maximum forθ=π/*** also obtain that the maximum value of QFI for state parameters varies for different spacetime dimensions with the same evolution time.

Trajectory tracking control of autonomous heavy-duty mining dump trucks with uncertain dynamic characteristics

The proportion of mines using autonomous mining trucks is still very low at present. To promote the development of intelligent mining, it is urgent to proceed with the drive-by-wire modification to common mining trucks and design a motion control algorithm considering uncertain dynamic *** paper proposes a trajectory tracking control method for autonomous heavy-duty mining dump trucks(AHMDTs) with uncertain dynamic characteristics. In this method, a driving/braking force compensation algorithm based on an inverse dynamic model is designed to guarantee accurate longitudinal control with less control gain tuning. Using road curvatures, a modified rear-wheel position feedback control method is proposed to deal with reverse-path tracking, which can simultaneously reduce the lateral error and yaw angle error. A modified Stanley controller considering the collaborative preview based on speed and curvature is constructed to achieve accurate path tracking in the forward gear. Moreover, the proposed method focuses on the practice of trajectory tracking control in an open-pit mine condition with the adverse effects caused by uncertain vehicle dynamics, huge variable load, and large actuator lag. Real vehicle tests show that the proposed methodology can control AHMDTs with a low tracking error.

With the increase of enterprise informatisation, database security and compliance operation management have become increasingly important. Therefore, it is essential to design an efficient database proxy approval system. In this paper, we develop a database proxy approval system based on the MySQL protocol for fortress machines, which provides a real-time customised configuration scheme for high-risk commands, designs a real-time approval process for six types of high-risk commands, and creates a simple and efficient matching algorithm for high-risk commands. We designed a large number of experiments to test the system’s connection success rate, operation stability, response time, CPU resource consumption, matching algorithm performance, and other aspects. The experimental results show that this database proxy approval system has good configuration flexibility, high accuracy, and good time performance. This system has a wide range of applications in electric power, finance, petroleum, and other fields. © 2025 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

Face Forgery Detection Based on Fine-Grained Clues and Noise Inconsistency

Deepfake detection has gained increasing research attention in media forensics, and a variety of works have been produced. However, subtle artifacts might be eliminated by compression, and the convolutional neural networks (CNNs)-based detectors are invalidated for fake face images with compression. In this work, we propose a two-stream network for deepfake detection. We observed that high-frequency noise features and spatial features are inherently complementary to each other. Thus, both spatial features and high-frequency noise features are exploited for face forgery detection. Specifically, we design a double-frequency transformer module (DFTM) to guide the learning of spatial features from local artifact regions. To effectively fuse spatial features and high-frequency noise features, a dual-domain attention fusion module (DDAFM) is designed. We also introduce a local relationship constraint loss, which requires only image-level labels, for model training. We evaluate the proposed approach on five large-scale benchmark datasets, and extensive experimental results demonstrate the proposed approach outperforms most SOTA works. © 2024 IEEE.

Laser Additive Manufacturing (LAM) uses laser as an energy source to enable additive manufacturing of materials，which is not limited by the structure of parts and can be used for complex structures, processing, and manufacturing of difficult and thin-walled parts while realizing the manufacture of complex metals. However, some machining defects occurs in the process of LAM would affect the quality of the parts. Thus, accurate detection and feature extraction of the defect location has become an important issue. This paper proposed a hybrid polarization image fusion method for accurate defect detection. This paper is mainly through the convolutional neural network based on the Laplace pyramid and wavelet transform. The experimental results presented that the information entropy of the proposed algorithm is higher than that of the traditional method by 30.5%, the standard deviation is increased by nearly 1 time, and the intersection of the intensity image and polarization feature is realized efficiently. Furthermore, mutual fusion can greatly improve the accuracy and integrity of the target defect detection results, and the similarity reached 80%. © 2024 SPIE.

Learning-based tracking control of AUV:Mixed policy improvement and game-based disturbance rejection

A mixed adaptive dynamic programming(ADP)scheme based on zero-sum game theory is developed to address optimal control problems of autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV)systems subject to disturbances and safe *** combining prior dynamic knowledge and actual sampled data,the proposed approach effectively mitigates the defect caused by the inaccurate dynamic model and significantly improves the training speed of the ADP ***,the dataset is enriched with sufficient reference data collected based on a nominal model without considering modelling ***,the control object interacts with the real environment and continuously gathers adequate sampled data in the *** comprehensively leverage the advantages of model-based and model-free methods during training,an adaptive tuning factor is introduced based on the dataset that possesses model-referenced information and conforms to the distribution of the real-world environment,which balances the influence of model-based control law and data-driven policy gradient on the direction of policy *** a result,the proposed approach accelerates the learning speed compared to data-driven methods,concurrently also enhancing the tracking performance in comparison to model-based control ***,the optimal control problem under disturbances is formulated as a zero-sum game,and the actor-critic-disturbance framework is introduced to approximate the optimal control input,cost function,and disturbance policy,***,the convergence property of the proposed algorithm based on the value iteration method is ***,an example of AUV path following based on the improved line-of-sight guidance is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this study,we analyzed the performance of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)-based mixed Underwater Power Line Communication-Radio Frequency(UPLC-RF)*** this network,a buoy located at the sea is used as a relay to transmit signals from the underwater signal source to the UAV through the PLC *** assume that the UPLC channel obeys a log-normal distribution and that the RF link follows the Rician *** this model,we obtained the closed-form expressions for the Outage Probability(OP),Average Bit-error-rate(ABER),and Average Channel Capacity(ACC).In addition,the asymptotic analysis of the OP and ABER was performed,and an upper bound for the average capacity was ***,the analytical results were verified by Monte Carlo simulation thereby demonstrating the effect of impulse noise and the altitude of the UAV on network performance.
