The paper presents a new type of wire rope safety barrier, which has many posts with C-shaped cross section and 5 ropes, by way of designing the shape of the post, the diameter of the rope, the arrangement and the number of ropes etc., on the basis of the form of structure of the most advanced foreign existing wire rope safety barrier - BRIFEN. And in order to realize that the barrier is designed as A class protective flexible safety fence, a series of finite element models are established, taking the thickness of the steel plate of C-post. After simulation experiment, discussion and analysis, the relation of the maximum dynamic deformation and the thickness of C-post is gotten. The research shows that the flexural strength of C-post increases and the corresponding maximum dynamic deformation decreases with the thickness of C post increases, which providing an important reference for subsequent research and vehicle Crash Test.

To make the crank slider protective devices to meet the requirements of regulation, optimization was carried out to the absorbing thread of the crank-slider-CST protective device. Based on the finite element model in VPG and simulation in LS-DYNA, with the orthogonal optimization design, obtained the parameters of the absorbing thread. The crash speed in these simulations is 50km/h, which is higher than the regulatory speed. The simulation showed that all indexes could meet the regulation very well, and the effectiveness of the device was demonstrated.

To improve the safety protection capability of automobile while driving, and better to play the role of CST in protecting automobile, aiming at some factors affecting road safety, and combined with the design requirements of control system, the article researched the judge method about driving safety level, human-computer interaction response alerts and emergency measures. And by using cooperative control structure mode on multi-system and the centralized cooperative strategy, the article designed the cooperative control scheme on multisystem containing CST for automobile safety. This cooperative control scheme had better real-time performance and simpler design than a single control system.

In order to solve the safety problem of different grades roads and crashworthy capacity of overpass design, to meet the traffic safety requirements under different conditions, by using similar principle, several overpass crashworthy barrier in different levels had been gotten here, and had been proved to have better adaptability. In preliminary work, the optimum structure parameter of SH overpass crashworthy barrier had been gotten through orthogonal test, and this research is also based on the orthogonal test majorization result. During the similarity design, the similarity design for every parameter of barrier would be done through measuring the impact force, and to get the optimum structure parameters of overpass crashworthy barriers in different degrades. Finally, every group similarity majorization result had been checked, and the result showed that different grades crashworthy barrier which based on similarity principle design could meet the safety requirements for different crashworthy grades overpasses. This design not only could reduce cost, but also had better suitability and engineering utility.
