Traffic sign recognition is an important part of intelligent driving and an important content of intelligent transportation system. However, the current traffic sign detection algorithm has some problems, such as high network complexity, low recognition efficiency, poor recognition accuracy, and difficult edge deployment. Aiming at the above problems, this paper proposes to use YOLOv5 single-stage target detection algorithm to identify and detect traffic signs. The input terminal of YOLOv5 enhances and improves adaptive image scaling through Mosaic data, thus reducing information redundancy, reducing computation and improving target detection speed. The CSP structure of Backbone solves the problem of large amount of calculation in reasoning design from the Angle of network structure design. By adopting FPN + CPN structure, the fusion ability of network features is strengthened. Through hardware and software integration design, YOLOv5s model can be deployed to edge equipment, thus forming a set of traffic sign target detection system with fast inference speed, strong anti-interference ability and high identification accuracy. The results show that the overall identification accuracy of traffic signs is up to 98% by adjusting the parameters and improving the algorithm. Through testing 676 images, the recognition accuracy is 96.15% and the average detection speed is 19 frames/s, which meets the requirements of real-time traffic sign detection. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Detecting overlapping communities of an attribute network is an important and difficult issue in network science. Traditional methods for overlapping community detection generally considered only its topological structure and neglected node attribute so that the detected communities could be inaccurate. Graph neural networks (GNN) have recently gained attention because of their learning representation ability for node attributes and the topology of a graph and demonstrating superior performance in natural language processing, data mining and pattern recognition, etc. However, GNN methods are still less for overlapping community detection. In this paper, we present an overlapping community detection method based on GNN for attribute networks. It applies a variational graph autoencoder based on attentional mechanisms to learn the representation of nodes in the graph and enhances the representation learning capability of GNN through semi-supervised learning. Various real-world networks of publicly available datasets are used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach. In order to solve the problems of complex evaluation process and slow processing speed of existing low-voltage power supply line health evaluation methods, an evaluation method of low-voltage power supply lines health status based on Fuzzy C-Mean (FCM) clustering algorithm and Euclidean distance is proposed. First, the voltage and current values before and after the voltage and current changes are collected according to the equivalent circuit diagram of the low-voltage power supply lines, the loop impedance is obtained by the voltage and current values before and after the change. Then the loop impedance of a single user is clustered using the FCM clustering algorithm to find out the data that may have abnormal health conditions. Finally, based on the Euclidean distance, the above-mentioned data that may have abnormal health conditions are analyzed again to further determine whether the line is abnormal. The results of the case analysis show that this method has the advantages of accurate impedance data measurement, less workload, and ensuring normal power supply for users. © 2021 ACM.

Aiming at the current electric power industry's problems related to the unreasonable configuration of smart meter data collectors and the smart meter measurement technology, this paper proposes a comprehensive analysis method for the optimal configuration of smart meter data collectors based on the PSO-BP neural network prediction model. Through the analysis of historical data in the station area, PSO is used to optimize the index. The database is established to import the BP neural network algorithm and training, and then the prediction of the station area to be configured with the data collector is completed. The experimental case proves that the above steps can reasonably configure the collector in the station area and optimize the data collection of the smart meter. While realizing convenient and effective data transmission, it also guarantees a certain degree of economy. © 2021 ACM.

For the features of Zigzag transformation, a Bidirectional Deformed Zigzag (BD-Zigzag) transformation is proposed in this paper, which starts from both sides of the diagonal and crosses in both directions. This method is more complex than the traditional Zigzag transformation method and has better dislocation effect. Then, a Hyperchaotic image encryption algorithm based on BD-Zigzag transformation and DNA coding is proposed. First, the images are processed with multiple rounds of permutations using the BD-Zigzag transformation. Second, a 4D-hyperchaotic Lorenz system is used to produce random numbers to permute the images at the bit level. Finally, DNA encoding is used to diffuse the pixels in the image. The experimental simulations and performance analysis data can prove that the encryption algorithm has high-level security capability. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Aiming at the problem of digital image encryption, an image encryption algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is divided into preparation stage and permutation diffusion stage. In the preparation stage, Arnold algorithm is improved and combined with Logistic chaotic map to generate the necessary sequence for the next stage. In the permutation diffusion stage, the final encrypted image is obtained by permutation, positive XOR operation, shift operation, S-box substitution and reverse XOR operation. The experimental results show that the algorithm can effectively resist the common attacks. For the 128 × 128 Lena gray image, the resistance performance number of pixel change rate (NPCR) is 99.6090, unified average changing intensity (UACI) is 33.4316. In addition, the time consumption of the algorithm is about 0.0055 s, and the experiments show that the algorithm has high security and real-time performance. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Nowadays the security of images is obviously more important. Some scholars have applied Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) algorithm and Chen chaotic system to image encryption. However, the application of the two methods in image encryption can still be explored. In this paper, it proposes an encryption scheme which uses asymmetric cipher RSA encryption algorithm and Chen chaotic system to scramble and diffuse the image. In this encryption scheme, firstly, it applies the RSA algorithm to obtain the public key and uses the specified formula to calculate the initial value of the Chen chaotic system. Secondly, the four chaotic sequences generated by Chen chaotic system are applied to the scrambling stage and the diffusion stage of the image process respectively. In the scrambling phase, it uses Arnold scrambling. It performs forward XOR diffusion and then performs reverse XOR diffusion in the diffusion stage. Finally, the encryption process is all completed and the encrypted image is obtained. Moreover, after appropriate experiments, the encryption algorithm is proved to have a good guarantee for the security of the image. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

With the acceleration of the construction of 'Smart Grid' and 'Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)' worldwide, smart energy meter, as a key sensor and measurement point distributed on the network, should have functions such as communication, load control, online upgrade, parameter protection, legal measurement and non-metering partial isolation in addition to basic energy measurement. To this end, China newly revised JJF 1245-2019 standard fully adopts the 'Active Energy Meter' (IR46) formulated by the International Legal Metrology Organization, and stipulates the software and hardware requirements and type certification of the new generation of smart energy meters. This paper first discusses the requirements of a new generation of smart energy meters, compares the differences between IR46 and Chinese energy meter standard systems, introduces some key technologies of smart energy meters that support IR46 standards, and finally expounds the next research direction and application prospects of IR46 smart energy meters. © 2023 IEEE.

As China continues to strengthen its focus on its “double carbon” development goals, the power industry urgently needs to promote industrial restructuring to improve customer service quality. Among them, trip detection and quick repower work have been essential to customer experience. However, the traditional repower method has high requirements for communication quality and operation and maintenance personnel. Although many existing improvement solutions are feasible, they suffer from high cost and difficult deployment. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a local trip detection and intelligent repower method of smart meters, aiming to achieve a rapid transition to the existing repower architecture. First, the problems of the current trip detection and repower work are introduced. Then, the improvement process and the related service system are designed. Finally, functional testing and analysis were conducted. The results show that the method can effectively improve the user experience of the power-out and repower process.

Within the domain of the smart grid, the conventional procedure involves the utilization of a concentrator to procure power-related data from users, subsequently subjecting this data to analysis for evaluating their electricity consumption behavior. However, this established approach is marred by issues such as the central station being burdened with extensive computational tasks and a notable lack of precision in identifying instances of irregular power consumption. This study seeks to address these shortcomings by introducing an innovative energy information collection and analysis terminal for the power system. In tandem with this, a model for effectively detecting incidents of unauthorized electricity usage is proposed. Notably, the core novelty of this research resides in the strategic integration of the Tiny4412 core board, a cutting-edge platform for edge computing. Leveraging the computational prowess of the Tiny4412 core board, the terminal is adept at promptly discerning and categorizing instances of electricity theft, without overburdening the central station with computational demands. To validate the practical viability of the proposed system, a series of empirical tests are conducted. The results unequivocally underscore the terminal’s proficiency in effectively detecting and flagging potential cases of electricity theft, leveraging meticulous analysis of data acquired from the intelligent energy meter.
