The gamma-ray detectors (GRDs) of GECAM-C onborad SATech-01 satellite is designed to monitor gamma-ray transients all over the sky from 6 keV to 6 MeV. The energy response matrix is the key to do spectral measurements of bursts, which is usually generated from GEANT4 simulation and partially verified by the ground calibration. In this work, energy response matrix of GECAM-C GRD is cross-calibrated with Fermi/GBM and Swift/BAT using a sample of Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) and Soft Gamma-Ray Repeaters (SGRs). The calibration results show there is a good agreement between GECAM-C and other reasonably well calibrated instrument (i.e. Fermi/GBM and Swift/BAT). We also find that different GRD detectors of GECAM-C also show consistency with each other. All these results indicate that GECAM-C GRD can provide reliable spectral measurements. This paper mainly analyzes the stability of high-dimensional fractional-order gene regulatory network systems with time delay. Based on the judgment of eigenvalues, this paper proposes sufficient information about the stability of high-dimensional fractional-order gene regulatory network systems with time delay. Conditions, and by analyzing the characteristic equations, the bifurcation conditions of the high-dimensional fractional-order gene regulatory network system with time delay are derived. Finally, the theoretical part of this paper is verified by numerical simulation.

Aimed at the segmentation problem of ultrawideband synthetic aperture radar (UWB SAR) image, a novel algorithm based on polynomial analysis of statistical distribution is proposed in this letter. Firstly, we estimate the probability density function (PDF) for each pixel via sparse decomposition of which the dictionary consists of orthogonal polynomials (OP). Secondly, the weighting coefficients of corresponding OP are used to segment image using their maximum value. The experimental results validate the efficiency of this algorithm. © 2019 IEEE.

The oscillations of a class of impulsive vector hyperbolic partial differential equations with delays are studied. Our approach is to reduce the multi-dimensional oscillation problems to the nonexistence of positive solutions of one-dimensional impulsive delay differential inequalities by applying inner product reducing dimension method and differential inequality technique. Some sufficient conditions for H-oscillation of all solutions of the equations under Dirichlet boundary value condition are established, where H denotes a unit vector. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The second brightest GRB in history, GRB230307A, provides an ideal laboratory to study the mechanism of GRB prompt emission thanks to its extraordinarily high photon statistics and its single episode activity. Here we demonstrate that the rapidly variable components of its prompt emission compose an overall broad single pulse-like profile. Although these individual rapid components are aligned in time across all energy bands, this overall profile conspires to show a well-defined energy-dependent behavior which is typically seen in single GRB pulses. Such a feature demonstrates that the prompt emission of this burst is from many individual emitting units that are casually linked in a emission site at a large distance from the central engine. Such a scenario is in natural consistency with the internal-collision-induced magnetic reconnection and turbulence framework, which invokes many mini-jets due to local magnetic reconnection that constantly appear and disappear in a global magnetically-dominated jet. © 2023, CC BY.

Gravitational-wave high-energy Electromagnetic Counterpart All-sky Monitor (GECAM) is a space-borne instrument dedicated to monitoring high-energy transients, including Terrestrial Gamma-ray Flashes (TGFs) and Terrestrial Electron Beams (TEBs). We implemented a TGF/TEB search algorithm for GECAM, with which 147 bright TGFs, 2 typical TEBs and 2 special TEB-like events are identified during an effective observation time of ∼9 months. We show that, with gamma-ray and charged particle detectors, GECAM can effectively identify and distinguish TGFs and TEBs, and measure their temporal and spectral properties in detail. A very high TGF-lightning association rate of ∼80% is obtained between GECAM and GLD360 in east Asia region. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

As a novel network paradigm, Software Defined Networking (SDN) decouples control logic functions from data forwarding devices, and introduces a separate control plane to manipulate underlying switches via southbound interfaces like OpenFlow. However, it leads to large-scale flow tables and poses serious challenges on their storage resources and lookup performance in OpenFlow switches. This paper is thus motivated to propose an efficient differentiated storage architecture for large-scale flow tables in OpenFlow networks. Firstly, we investigate into the impact of wildcards in match fields on packet-in-batch property within a flow based on network traffic locality. Then, packet flows are dynamically distinguished into active ones and idle ones in terms of their short-term states. Subsequently, we store the match fields of active flows and idle flows respectively in TCAM and SRAM, and the content fields of both types of flows in DRAM, to effectively relieve the insufficiency of TCAM capacity. Finally, we evaluate the performance of our proposed flow table storage architecture with real network traffic traces by experiments. The experimental results indicate that our proposed storage architecture obviously outperforms the traditional one applying the elephant/mice flow differentiation method in terms of TCAM hit rates and average flow table access time. © 2019 IEEE.

This study aims to improve the performance in solder joint image compression and reconstruction. A novel adaptive block compressive sensing with convex optimisation and Gini index (Ad_BCSGB_Gini) methodology for solder joint image compression and reconstruction is proposed. At first, the image is split into square blocks and each block is resized into a row which consists of a new image. Then, the new image is transformed into a sparse signal by an orthogonal basis matrix, and the image reconstruction is handled as a convex optimisation problem. Moreover, a gradient-based method which has fast computational speed is used to reconstruct image. There is a control factor which controls a norm l1 in the optimisation problem. To achieve the best performance, at last, the proposed method adaptively selects the best result by comparing Gini index of the reconstruction results based on different control factor values. Experimental results with different methods indicate that the Ad_BCSGB_Gini method is able to achieve the best performance in quantisation comparison than several classical algorithms, and Ad_BCSGB_Gini has a good robustness. © 2019 Institution of Engineering and Technology.
