The algorithm PRINCE proposed in ASIACRYPT 2012 is a lightweight cipher, currently suitable for the implementation on RFID Smart Card of the Io T. It's studied to achieve the optimal implementation of PRINCE encryption algorithm, and to add a fixed random mask to enhance the anti power attacking ability of PRINCE. In this paper, we constructed the same operations into a module called Prince Round, and used counter to control the Prince Round module, while the same round operation runs repeatedly. As a result, it can save registers and effectively reduce the amount of computation. Furthermore, we used a special method by adding the random mask to S-box. The experimental results show that the optimized PRINCE occupies area 9.8% fewer than original PRINCE on FPGA and the encryption with a fixed random mask can run correctly. Last but not least, our research is the first one about the implementation of PRINCE algorithm on FPGA, and can serve as a reference for further application of IOT encryption.

Asymmetric doping dependence of superconductivity between hole- A nd electron-doped triangular-lattice superconductors

Within the framework of kinetic-energy-driven superconductivity, the asymmetric doping dependence of superconductivity between the hole- A nd electron-doped triangular-lattice superconductors has been studied. It is shown that although the superconducting transition temperature has a dome-shaped doping dependence for both the hole- A nd electron-doped triangular-lattice superconductors, superconductivity appears over a wide doping of range in the hole-doped case, while it only exists in a narrow range of the doping in the electron-doped side. Moreover, the maximum superconducting transition temperature around the optimal doping in the electron-doped triangular-lattice superconductors is lower than that of the hole-doped counterparts. The theory also shows that the asymmetric doping dependence of superconductivity between the hole- A nd electron-doped cases may be a common feature for a doped Mott insulator. Due to the diversification of software and hardware resources in cloud and ever-changing demand for deployment, Hadoop deployment is faced with great challenges in difficulty and complexity. Most of present researches lie in environment configuration and parameter setting of deployment, they do not take into account diversification of infrastructure and scalability issues in cloud. In order to quickly customize, deploy and expand Hadoop services according to the demand, a model-driven approach to Hadoop deployment is proposed in the paper. Firstly, Hadoop demand and deployment models are presented. Secondly, the transformation method from the demand model to the deployment model is proposed. Thirdly, the bidirectional synchronization between Hadoop deployment model and running system is realized based on runtime model.

Scan design is a widely used design-for-testability (DFT) technique that improves the controllability and observability of integrated circuits (ICs) resulting in the facilitation of the testing. However, it can also be used to access secret information of crypto chips, and thus threaten dramatically the security of the cipher keys. In this paper, we propose a secure scan DFT architecture to thwart scan-based side-channel attacks. This architecture provides the scan chain reset mechanism, and thus can prevent these attacks based on mode switching. Meanwhile, the secret key is isolated from scan chains of an advanced encryption standard (AES) design in the test mode. Therefore, it can also halt the test-mode-only scan attacks. The proposed secure scan DFT technique ensures the security without compromising the testability of original chip. Most important of all, the secure scan test is implemented with extremely low hardware overhead.

In order to provide guidance for the development of high performance millimeter-wave complementary metal oxide semiconductor (MMW-CMOS) integrated circuits (IC), this paper provides a survey of key technologies on MMW-CMOS IC. Technical background of MMW wireless communications is described. Then the recent development of the critical technologies of the MMW-CMOS IC are introduced in detail and compared. A summarization is given, and the development prospects on MMW-CMOS IC are also discussed.

The tremendous parallel computing ability of cloud computing encourages investigators to research its drawbacks and advantages on processing large-scale scientific applications such as workflows. The current cloud market is composed of numerous diverse public clouds and a local private cloud, and workflow scheduling is one of the biggest challenges on hybrid clouds due to the highly fragmented cloud market with respect to service provisions, pricing models, and bandwidths. In this paper, we propose an online-scheduling strategy for continuous submitted scientific workflows on hybrid clouds, which aims to complete the deadline-constrained applications as more as possible at a lower price. Firstly, a hierarchical iterative application partition (HIAP) algorithm is proposed to partition the application into a set of dependent tasks. Moreover, many online-scheduling algorithms cooperated with HIAP are presented to finish the workflows with a low average payment. Our strategy takes into account the basic characteristics on hybrid clouds such as bandwidth constraints, data transfer cost and computational cost. Various well-known workflows are used for evaluating the multiple scheduling algorithms and the results show that the MLF_ID approach can achieve a promising performance. XGRouter： high-quality global router in X-architecture with particle swarm optimization

This paper presents a high-quality very large scale integration （VLSI） global router in X-architecture, called XGRouter, that heavily relies on integer linear pro- gramming （ILP） techniques, partition strategy and particle swarm optimization （PSO）. A new ILP formulation, which can achieve more uniform routing solution than other formu- lations and can be effectively solved by the proposed PSO is proposed. To effectively use the new ILP formulation, a partition strategy that decomposes a large-sized problem into some small-sized sub-problems is adopted and the routing re- gion is extended progressively from the most congested re- git）n. In the post-processing stage of XGRouter, maze rout- ing based on new routing edge cost is designed to further optimize the total wire length and mantain the congestion uniformity. To our best knowledge, XGRouter is the first work to use a concurrent algorithm to solve the global rout- ing problem in X-architecture. Experimental results show that XGRouter can produce solutions of higher quality than other global routers. And, like several state-of-the-art global touters, XGRouter has no overflow.

In the study of social networks, analyzing node influence and identifying influential nodes in social networks is of great theoretical and practical significance. To effectively evaluate node influence, a novel concept of influence label is introduced, which can measure node influence through two label attributes called influence level and node degree. Then, a novel influence model called LDM (Level and Degree Model) is proposed. LDM updates the influence label of each node iteratively by the quality of neighbors and the number of neighbors. A gain function that conforms to power-law distribution is also introduced to further optimize the accuracy of LDM. In the experiment part, to prove the effectiveness of LDM, LDM is compared with other typical methods by employing IC model to simulate the information diffusion process on four real-world social networks. Experimental results show that LDM can rank node influence more accurately than other methods.

Signature verification is an important part of digital forensics. In order to solve the shortcomings of manual identification in technical accuracy and subjectivity, this paper proposed an off-line signature identification method based on Support Vector Machine (SVM). A powerful feature set is collected by extracting grid features and global features of a signature picture. The method is applied for identifying different writing systems and the highest correct probability of identification arrives at 100%. The results indicated that the method is workable and can be an effectively technical support for digital forensics.
