Deepfake detection has gained increasing research attention in media forensics, and a variety of works have been produced. However, subtle artifacts might be eliminated by compression, and the convolutional neural networks (CNNs)-based detectors are invalidated for fake face images with compression. In this work, we propose a two-stream network for deepfake detection. We observed that high-frequency noise features and spatial features are inherently complementary to each other. Thus, both spatial features and high-frequency noise features are exploited for face forgery detection. Specifically, we design a double-frequency transformer module (DFTM) to guide the learning of spatial features from local artifact regions. To effectively fuse spatial features and high-frequency noise features, a dual-domain attention fusion module (DDAFM) is designed. We also introduce a local relationship constraint loss, which requires only image-level labels, for model training. We evaluate the proposed approach on five large-scale benchmark datasets, and extensive experimental results demonstrate the proposed approach outperforms most SOTA works. © 2024 IEEE.

Fake Face Detection Based on Fusion of Spatial Texture and High-Frequency Noise

The rapid development of the Internet has led to the widespread dissemination of manipulated facial images, significantly impacting people's daily lives. With the continuous advancement of Deepfake technology, the generated counterfeit facial images have become increasingly challenging to distinguish. There is an urgent need for a more robust and convincing detection method. Current detection methods mainly operate in the spatial domain and transform the spatial domain into other domains for analysis. With the emergence of transformers, some researchers have also combined traditional convolutional networks with transformers for detection. This paper explores the artifacts left by Deepfakes in various domains and, based on this exploration, proposes a detection method that utilizes the steganalysis rich model to extract high-frequency noise to complement spatial features. We have designed two main modules to fully leverage the interaction between these two aspects based on traditional convolutional neural networks. The first is the multi-scale mixed feature attention module, which introduces artifacts from high-frequency noise into spatial textures, thereby enhancing the model's learning of spatial texture features. The second is the multi-scale channel attention module, which reduces the impact of background noise by weighting the features. Our proposed method was experimentally evaluated on mainstream datasets, and a significant amount of experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in detecting Deepfake forged faces, outperforming the majority of existing methods.

Strong noise is one of the biggest challenges in controlled-source electromagnetic (CSEM) exploration, which severely affects the quality of the recorded signal. We develop a novel and effective CSEM noise attenuation method that integrates a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) with a high-quality sounding curve screening mechanism. This method first uses a DCNN to learn the large-scale noise characteristics of CSEM measured data and build a DCNN denoising model for attenuating the noise. Because some impulse noise remains after DCNN denoising, the high-quality sounding curve screening mechanism is innovatively applied to optimize the DCNN denoised data. The core of this method is the smoothness value (SV), which quantitatively evaluates the smoothness of the sounding curve (apparent resistivity curve). In effect, the mechanism segments the overall DCNN denoised data and calculates the corresponding sounding curve and its SV for each segment. The highest-quality sounding curve can be screened out by comparing the SVs of all curves as well as obtaining the highest-quality data segment present in the overall DCNN denoised data. Finally, our method is validated with synthetic and field data, demonstrating its feasibility and effectiveness in attenuating large-scale CSEM noise. The quality of CSEM data, which is heavily affected by noise, is significantly improved after processing by our method. © 2025 Society of Exploration Geophysicists. All rights reserved.

With the increase of enterprise informatisation, database security and compliance operation management have become increasingly important. Therefore, it is essential to design an efficient database proxy approval system. In this paper, we develop a database proxy approval system based on the MySQL protocol for fortress machines, which provides a real-time customised configuration scheme for high-risk commands, designs a real-time approval process for six types of high-risk commands, and creates a simple and efficient matching algorithm for high-risk commands. We designed a large number of experiments to test the system’s connection success rate, operation stability, response time, CPU resource consumption, matching algorithm performance, and other aspects. The experimental results show that this database proxy approval system has good configuration flexibility, high accuracy, and good time performance. This system has a wide range of applications in electric power, finance, petroleum, and other fields. © 2025 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

A Bi-selection Method Based on Consistent Matrix for Large-Scale datasets

Biselection (feature and sample selection) enhances the efficiency and accuracy of machine learning models when handling large-scale data. Fuzzy rough sets, an uncertainty mathematics model known for its excellent interpretability, are widely used in machine learning, particularly for feature selection. While the consistent matrix has significantly improved the computational efficiency and scalability of feature selection, like most fuzzy rough set-based methods, it focuses only on feature selection and seldom incorporates sample selection. This feature-centric approach can limit classification performance, particularly in noisy and large-scale datasets where both features and samples require judicious selection. To overcome these limitations, this article explores the integration of sample selection with feature selection. First, we introduce a β-consistent granulation method to generate more accurate and concise fuzzy information granules, reducing the impact of noisy samples. In addition, a novel membership function is employed to distinguish noise while simultaneously evaluating both features and samples. As a result, a biselection algorithm with linear computation complexity is proposed to select high-quality features and samples. Numerical experiments demonstrate that, compared to eleven representative algorithms, our proposed method achieves an average accuracy improvement of 9.66% and a 933-fold increase in efficiency. © 2025 IEEE.

An Unsupervised Malicious Web Request Detection based on Transformer and Contrastive Learning

The World Wide Web (Web) is a crucial part of the Internet. Web attacks are becoming more and more serious and complex. Malicious Web request detection aims to rapidly and accurately identify abnormal attacks on the network. Deep learning is being applied to malicious Web request detection, resulting in high detection performance. However, most deep learning-based methods are supervised and ignore special characters, which are hard to detect unknown malicious Web requests. The labels of Web request are fewer and Web request data is insufficient. Therefore, we propose an unsupervised malicious Web request detection based on transformer and contrastive learning (UTCDetector). UTCDetector exploits preprocessing and 2-gram word segmentationto preserve special characters, extracts semantic feature by Transformer, and leverages hypersphere loss function and contrastive learning to handle insufficient Web data without abnormal label. Since the public Web request datasets (CSIC 2010, CSIC TORPEDA 2012, and ECML/PKDD 2007) were created before 2012, we collected Web requests from a university Web application server in 2023 to build a private dataset named School 2023. This dataset contains more modern and complex attacks. The experimental results on the four datasets demonstrate that our method achieves a higher F1-score than other existing methods and ablation variants. © 2004-2012 IEEE.

Aim to countermeasure the presentation attack for iris recognition system,an iris liveness detection scheme based on batch normalized convolutional neural network(BNCNN)is proposed to improve the reliability of the iris authentication *** BNCNN architecture with eighteen layers is constructed to detect the genuine iris and fake iris,including convolutional layer,batch-normalized(BN)layer,Relu layer,pooling layer and full connected *** iris image is first preprocessed by iris segmentation and is normalized to 256×256 pixels,and then the iris features are extracted by *** these features,the genuine iris and fake iris are determined by the decision-making *** normalization technique is used in BNCNN to avoid the problem of over fitting and gradient disappearing during *** experiments are conducted on three classical databases:the CASIA Iris Lamp database,the CASIA Iris Syn database and Ndcontact *** results show that the proposed method can effectively extract micro texture features of the iris,and achieve higher detection accuracy compared with some typical iris liveness detection methods.

Recently,Siamese-based trackers have achieved excellent performance in object ***,the high speed and deformation of objects in the movement process make tracking ***,we have incorporated cascaded region-proposal-network(RPN)fusion and coordinate attention into Siamese *** proposed network framework consists of three parts:a feature-extraction sub-network,coordinate attention block,and cascaded RPN *** exploit the coordinate attention block,which can embed location information into channel attention,to establish long-term spatial location dependence while maintaining channel ***,the features of different layers are enhanced by the coordinate attention *** then send these features separately into the cascaded RPN for classification and *** to the two classification and regression results,the final position of the target is *** verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,we conducted comprehensive experiments on the OTB100,VOT2016,UAV123,and GOT-10k *** with other state-of-the-art trackers,the proposed tracker achieved good performance and can run at real-time speed.

For solving the problem that PPG signals were usually corrupted by motion artifact, a comprehensive approach for heart rate monitoring of real-time wearable devices was proposed in this paper. This method was based on the adaptive noise cancellation technique. Firstly, PPG signals and acceleration signals were pre processed through a band-pass filter. Acceleration signals and red PPG signals would be regarded as a set of noise reference signal. Next, an adaptive filtering algorithm was used to remove the motion artifacts. Finally, the heart rate could be extracted from the denoising PPG signals by using peak to peak value estimation method. The simulation results show that, compared with traditional LMS algorithm and FFT algorithm, the proposed method is more accurate, less error. And the method has the advantages of real-time, high efficiency and simplicity to monitor heart rate in different motion states. © 2018, Springer International Publishing AG.

This paper designs a module of attention regions in SSD detector for accurate and efficient object detection (RSSD). Different from previous one-stage detection method like SSD which just simply applied the multi-scale head-features and directly extracted from backbone network, for classification and regression, our method aims to strengthen the characterization of head-features further. The parallel encode-to-decode structure is constructed and a computation method of regional distribution on features (R-Softmax) is proposed. What's more, in order to reduce time-costs, the down-sampling layers are shared with the multi-scale layers from backbone network. Our detector performs better on PASCAL VOC datasets (e.g., 78.4% mAP V.S. SSD 76.4% on VOC 07test) and costs 0.001s per image more than SSD. © 2019 IEEE.
