This paper investigates the performance of DCS1800/CD-MA-EVDO dual-mode dual-link (DM-DL) UE and presents an effective solution which is based on our designed high isolation antenna for the UE local electromagnetic interference (EMI). To this end, a DCS1800/CDMA-EVDO DM-DL UE model is firstly brought out, together with its system model, interference analysis and performance evaluation. Simulated results show that the DCS1800 (CDMA-EVDO) local interference will cause a sharp deterioration of the CDMA-EVDO (DCS1800) receiving sensitivity. To solve this problem, then, a compact and high isolation double-band handset antenna is given with its structure designed and performance validated by measurement. On the basis of this antenna and existing UE bandpass filter, we introduce a solution called "passive isolation to eliminate the local interference. Finally, the performance of DCS1800/CDMA-EVDO DM-DL UE is researched again by our solution, simulated results indicate that the isolation effect is quite good and the DM-DL UE can work normally.

A well-defined three-dimensional (3-D) reconstruction of bone-cartilage transitional structures is crucial for the osteochondral restoration. This paper presents an accurate, computationally efficient and fully-automated algorithm for the alignment and segmentation of two-dimensional (2-D) serial to construct the 3-D model of bone-cartilage transitional structures. Entire system includes the following five components: (1) image harvest, (2) image registration, (3) image segmentation, (4) 3-D reconstruction and visualization, and (5) evaluation. A computer program was developed in the environment of Matlab for the automatic alignment and segmentation of serial sections. Automatic alignment algorithm based on the position's cross-correlation of the anatomical characteristic feature points of two sequential sections. A method combining an automatic segmentation and an image threshold processing was applied to capture the regions and structures of interest. SEM micrograph and 3-D model reconstructed directly in digital microscope were used to evaluate the reliability and accuracy of this strategy. The morphology of 3-D model constructed by serial sections is consistent with the results of SEM micrograph and 3-D model of digital microscope.

Camera calibration is the essential step of obtaining 3D information from 2D views in the field of computer vision, which is widely used in the area of 3D reconstruction, navigation, visual supervision, etc. A camera self-calibration method based on dual constraints of multi-view images is proposed to make calibration possible when there is no reference calibration block or the movement of camera is arbitrary. In this method, multi-view images are preprocessed first to select three images which are most suitable for camera self-calibration, then we use the method based on the genetic algorithm, the camera parameters are finally estimated by using epipolar geometry matching error and reprojection error as fitness functions as two steps. Experimental results show that the proposed camera self-calibration method is correct and effective.

Recently, cell separation is introduced into tissue P systems, which enables systems to generate an exponential workspace in a polynomial time. In this work, the computational power of tissue P systems with cell separation is investigated.
