Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most prevalent form of dementia, and early diagnosis is crucial for delaying and treating AD. Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI), a widely used medical imaging technique, offers rich temporal and spatial data, which has led researchers to explore various feature extraction methods based on rs-fMRI images for AD identification. However, the related work still suffers from insufficient utilization of temporal and spatial information which leads to unsatisfactory early diagnosis. In this study, we propose a dual-branch fusion model to extract spatial-temporal features from rs-fMRI images. Our proposed model can extract temporal features at different levels. We developed a Class Activation Sequence (CAS) branch, which is a structure that emphasizes the function of each temporal node throughout the whole time series. Additionally, we created a time-domain local branch for local feature extraction. Further, we designed a fusion module for the model to describe temporal contextual relationships and fuse features at various levels. We tested the performance of the model on the ADNI dataset, and the experimental results show that compared with other algorithms, the dual-branch fusion model achieves higher classification accuracy on several classification tasks including early diagnosis, which proves the advantage of the dual-branch fusion model in temporal and spatial feature extraction for rs-fMRI images, and our work also provides a foundation for the temporal domain characterization of rs-fMRI images. © 2024 IEEE.

To regulate the sodium chloride content in Jinhua ham,the impact of NaCl on the activity and conformation of cathepsin B was investigated using spectroscopy and computational *** results showed that the activity of cathepsin B decreased with an increase in Na^(+)cation content and ***,decreasedα-helix content and increasedβ-sheet content were *** increase in sulfhydryl group content was attributed to the breaking of original disulfide bonds in the molecular structure or the release of embedded ***,the surface hydrophobicity gradually declined,which was consistent with the analysis of endogenous fluorescence *** the molecular level,the number of hydrogen bonds formed in NaCl-treated samples decreased,and the interactions between the hydrogen bonding were less powerful,which caused instability in the binding of the protein and *** conformation of cathepsin B accurately characterized its activity,and the structural changes had a macroscopic effect on the decrease in protease activity.

Spatial deployment of large-scale heterogeneous multi-agent systems (HMASs) over desired 2D or 3D curves is investigated in this paper. With assumption that HMASs consist of numerous first-order agents (FOAs) and second-order agents (SOAs) that could obtain local information of desired curves and their positions relative to their closest neighbors, the collective dynamics of large-scale HMASs are modeled as heterogeneous partial differential equations (PDEs). In particular, this paper introduces series-dependent topological weights between neighboring agents, which are more versatile and practical than constant topological weights commonly used in previous studies. A novel single-point control scheme is proposed, where an informed agent is situated between the last FOA and first SOA. This operation could not only ensure successful implementation of spatial deployment, but also guarantee well-posedness of the constructed heterogeneous error PDEs. By utilizing inequality techniques, sufficient conditions for exponential convergence of error system are derived. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate effectiveness of the proposed approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper studies a robust fault compensation and vibration suppression problem of flexible hypersonic *** controlled plant is represented by a cascade system composed of a nonlinear Ordinary Differential Equation(ODE)and an Euler-Bernoulli Beam Equation(EBBE),in which the vibration dynamics is coupled with the rigid dynamics and suffers from distributed faults.A state differential transformation is introduced to transfer distributed faults to an EBBE boundary and a longitudinal dynamics is refined by utilizing T-S fuzzy IF-THEN rules.A novel T-S fuzzy based fault-tolerant control algorithm is developed and related stability conditions are *** robust exponential stability and well-posedness are proved by using the modified l_(0)-semigroup based Lyapunov direct approach.A simulation study on the longitudinal dynamics of flexible hypersonic vehicles effectively verifies the validity of the developed theoretical results.

Kalman filter (KF) is increasingly attracted for sensorless control of surface permanent magnet synchronous motors due to its strong robustness against measurement and system noise. However, the conventional method suffers from poor position and speed estimation accuracy under dynamic conditions and high computational cost. In order to solve these problems, an enhanced sensorless control strategy based on reduced-order linear Kalman filter (RLKF) cooperating with prediction error rolling compensation is introduced in this article. Differing from conventional methods, a reduced-order linear state equation encompassing rotor position, speed, and torque disturbance is constructed. Then, by obtaining the prediction error of system output using the motor current equation in the predictive reference frame, the optimal estimation of rotor position and speed in the KF algorithm is achieved based on the reduced-order model. This not only simplifies the calculation process but also enhances the position and speed estimation accuracy under dynamic conditions. Meanwhile, a prediction error rolling compensation algorithm is developed to minimize the estimation deviations caused by motor parameter variations. In addition, the system's dynamic performance is further improved with an adopted speed controller based on torque disturbance feedforward and acceleration feedback. Finally, experimental results verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed strategy. © 1986-2012 IEEE.

Robust H∞ Analysis and control of Fractional-Order Systems With Ellipsoidal Parametric Uncertainty

In the domain of systems control, the robust control of fractional-order systems (FOSs) with ellipsoidal parameter uncertainty has received scant attention, even though ellipsoidal uncertainty is significant for quantifying and modeling parameter uncertainties. This paper addresses the gap by focusing on (Formula presented.) analysis and control of FOSs with ellipsoidal parametric uncertainty, where the fractional order is delimited to the range (Formula presented.). Two distinct categories of ellipsoidal parameter uncertainty models are considered: one corresponding to FOSs with uncertain zero positions and the other to FOSs with uncertain pole and zero positions. First, sufficient conditions for the (Formula presented.) performance analysis of FOSs with ellipsoidal parametric uncertainty are established by extending the (Formula presented.) bounded real lemma for FOSs. Next, the problems of (Formula presented.) controller synthesis are analyzed, and the state feedback (Formula presented.) controllers are designed, along with the establishment of sufficient conditions for stabilization. These conditions are given in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Lastly, several numerical examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed results. © 2025 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

MULTI-SCALE RESNET INTEGRATED WITH ATTENTION MECHANISM FOR ENHANCED WHEAT FRESHNESS DIAGNOSIS BASED ON BIOPHOTONICS

Background. Accurate detection of wheat freshness is important for ensuring the quality and safety of wheat products, thereby protecting the health and interests of consumers. Material and methods. This study integrates biophoton emission technology with advanced deep learning frameworks to transform the process of wheat freshness assessment. Leveraging the powerful feature extraction capabilities of the ResNet architecture, we employ a multi-scale framework integrated with the Gaussian Context Transformer (GCT) attention mechanism. The MS-GCT-ResNet method presents a groundbreaking approach that not only enhances the accuracy and efficiency of wheat freshness discrimination but also demonstrates the potential for combining biophysical phenomena with cutting-edge Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for precision agriculture and food quality control. Results. This model enhances detection accuracy and adaptability, offering a powerful technique for the rapid and precise evaluation of wheat freshness. Its effectiveness is validated using years of wheat sample data. Based on the experimental results, MS-GCT-ResNet achieves a recognition accuracy of 93.6%. Compared with traditional CNN and ResNet models, the recognition accuracy increases by 1.9% and 1.1%, respectively. Conclusion. MS-GCT-ResNet is a highly promising, non-invasive, and efficient technological advancement capable of quickly and accurately assessing wheat freshness. Whale optimisation algorithm with role labour division for multimodal optimisation

The multimodal optimisation problem challenges the balance between diversity and convergence, which poses a great degree of challenge to traditional population-based intelligence optimisers. The whale optimisation algorithm has the limitation of easily falling into local optimum when facing multimodal optimisation. To address this problem, this paper proposes a whale optimisation algorithm with role labour division (WOA-RDL). In WOA-RDL, a multi-stage role division of labour mechanism is designed to divide the optimisation process into two stages of group hunting. In the first stage, the task allocation in the hunting process is considered as two types of search tasks: exploration and exploitation. The external environmental stimulus of the task and the internal response threshold of the individual were designed to allow individuals to switch between exploration and exploitation tasks flexibly. In the second stage, the distribution mechanism of different roles was designed to simulate the 'strong to weak' distribution rule for the distribution of results after the hunt. The elite roles are selected to further strengthen their capabilities or remain robust, while the inferior roles are predicted and eliminated to improve the overall optimisation of the population and reduce the risk of falling into a local optimum. The results of the optimisation experiments using multimodal, unimodal, CEC2017 combined functions and CEC2009 dynamic functions to validate the effectiveness of the algorithm. We can focus on the challenges posed by traditional registration algorithms and the limitations of U-Net-based architectures in capturing sufficient semantic information due to their shallow coding layers with small receptive fields. We want to explore how newer architectures or modifications to existing ones could address these limitations. Inspired by introduced deformable convolutional networks, we plan to fuse deformable convolution into our proposed network structure. Building on its success in 2D target detection, we apply deformable convolution to 3D image registration networks. The Deform U-Net proposed in this paper can compensate for the shortcomings of existing registration networks by obtaining more semantic information with unsupervised training without Introduction of additional features. We conducted evaluations on two publicly available human brain MRI, specifically LPBA40 and IBSR18. On the LPBA40 and ISBR18 datasets, the DSC reached 68.82, 62.30, respectively. The experimental results show that the Deform U-N et image registration method outperforms the VoxelMorph image registration method. © 2024 IEEE.

The key for bulldozers to realize automatic operation in mine scenes is whether they can accurately identify and accurately segment the retaining walls, however, because the point cloud dataset of the mine site is too few, resulting in the deep learning-based identification and segmentation algorithm cannot be applied in this scene. At the same time, because of the rugged road surface of the mine scene, the existence of a lot of dust, numerous disturbances, retaining wall features are not obvious and other problems, the algorithms proposed by previous scholars are not perfect enough to solve the problem. We propose a point cloud recognition and segmentation algorithm based on clustering and evaluation function of integrated features. Ours firstly compensates the skew of the point cloud map with RANSAC and down samples the data by gridding the point cloud. Then reduces the influence of dust and truck materials in the scene by normal vector and variance information. Finally, screens out the candidate target class by density clustering, and identifies and segments the retaining wall by integrated feature. Our proposed algorithm is validated in several different real mine scenarios and the results show that ours has high accuracy and strong robustness. © 2023 IEEE.
