This paper introduces a microwave filter with pentagram grooves, which belongs to an artificial surface plasmon (SSPPs) type microwave bandpass *** filter adopts a two-stage structure. The first section is a slot-line waveguide section, and one side of this section adopts an exponential curve structure to prevent sudden changes in electromagnetic impedance and achieve a good connection with the second *** second segment is the SSPPs segment, which adopts a novel mirror-symmetric pentagram-shaped groove air gap structure. By adjusting the geometric size of the pentagram-shaped groove, the microwave subwavelength confinement effect can be further improved,making the SSPPs filter more excellent in pass-band characteristics and anti-space electromagnetic *** filter can be applied to the civil microwave communication system of L~1/4S band. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper introduces a broadband microwave bandpass filter. The structure of the filter is a filter cavity formed by two balanced dielectric sheets. On the two dielectric sheets, the relative face of the microwave input end and the microwave output end is symmetrically provided with a guided wave surface, the middle face is symmetrically provided with a filter groove surface for filtering, and the surface of an exponential curve structure is arranged along the microwave transmission direction, A plurality of arc-shaped filter grooves are arranged on the opposite surface of the dielectric sheet perpendicular to the microwave transmission direction. This special structure is analyzed and calculated by the finite difference time domain method. The results show that the filter can fully improve the subwavelength binding effect in microwave band and make the anti electromagnetic interference ability of the filter better. © VDE VERLAG GMBH ∙ Berlin ∙ Offenbach.

In this paper, we investigate the leader-following consensus of second-order multi-agent systems with nonlinear dynamics and time delay by employing periodically intermittent pinning control. All member agents and the virtual leader share the same nonlinear dynamics relating to the velocity and delayed velocity information. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, we obtain a novel criterion that is independent of the time delay and control width to guarantee the second-order consensus of multi-agent systems with time delay and periodically intermittent controllers. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the theoretical results. © 2015, Springer Science+Business Media New York.

The traditional experimental teaching method is single, and students lack learning initiative and creativity, which leads to the problem of insufficient teaching quality. Therefore, this paper proposes a virtual experiment online teaching system of university economics and management based on virtualization technology. Firstly, optimize the system hardware structure and improve the allowable effect of system equipment configuration. Then, the three-tier structure of customer layer, application service layer and data layer is used to optimize the system software functions, and simplify the working principle and multi-layer architecture of the online virtual experiment system based on B/S mode, so as to achieve the online teaching goal of economic and management virtual experiment in colleges and universities. The experimental results show that the system has high practicability, can effectively improve the teaching quality, and fully meet the expected requirements of the research. © 2022, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Infrared image-based object detection is challenging due to inherent low resolution and scarce details, especially when locating small objects that cover minimal region in the image. We present a methodology for detecting small objects in infrared imagery captured by UAVs, emphasizing the use of attention mechanisms to increase detection precision. Using YOLOX as our baseline network, we integrated a modified Recursive Feature Pyramid (RFP) to enhance vehicle detection in the VisDrone-Vehicle dataset. To amplify the spatial details of these smaller objects, we incorporated an attention module and sigmoid function, bridging the connection between the primary and secondary Feature Pyramid Networks (FPNs). The sigmoid function further refines the RFP outputs by filtering out background noise. Comparative experiments demonstrate that the proposed network outperforms the baseline in detecting vehicles in infrared images.

The accuracy of weighing systems is easily affected by sensors, conversion circuits, temperature, and other factors. Aiming at the problem of significant temperature impact during the operation of the weighing system, which leads to a decrease in weighing accuracy. This article proposes a BP neural network method for temperature compensation of the weighing system to further improve the weighing accuracy. Firstly, a weighing system is built based on STM32 to collect system temperature and weighing data. Then, a BP neural network is built using MATLAB, and the calibration data is imported to train the optimal model of the BP neural network. Finally, the model parameters are imported into an embedded system to achieve real-time temperature compensation for the STM32 weighing system. The experimental results show that the accuracy and stability of the weighing system have been improved, and it has good application value. © 2024 SPIE.

In this paper, a novel microwave bandpass filter with L-shaped structure is introduced, which belongs to a kind of artificial surface plasmon polaritons (SSPPs) type microwave bandpass *** filter adopts a symmetrical three-stage structure. The first section is a slot-line waveguide section, which realizes the input/output of microwave signals. The second section is a transition section, which adopts the impedance gradient structure to achieve a good connection with the third section. The third section is the SSPPs section composed of periodic symmetric trapezoidal groove structure and 90 degree bend structure. The passband width and stopband characteristics of the filter can be adjusted by adjusting the geometric size of the trapezoidal groove and its air gap, also the microwave subwavelength binding effect can be further improved, which makes the SSPPs filter more excellent in resisting spatial electromagnetic interference. The filter can be used in L~S band civil microwave communication system. © 2022 SPIE.

This paper focuses on the robust semi-global coordinated tracking of general linear systems subject to input saturation together with input additive disturbance and dead zone. A fully distributed algorithm which relating only with the number of the following agents and the relative state information of its neighbors is first constructed, and then sufficient conditions guaranteeing the robust semi-global consensus tracking and the robust semi-global swarm tracking are provided, respectively, on the basis of the low-and-high feedback technique. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. © 2017

Recently, the various low-light enhancement methods have been proposed for consumer electronic devices. Although the existing methods provide the better brightness enhancement results, these methods generate the flicker effects during the video enhancement process. Flicker effects are caused by ignoring the correlation information between adjacent frames (i.e. inter-frames). To minimize the flicker effects, the proposed method uses the patch-similarity and adaptive accumulation in the inter-frames domain, and it makes the mean brightness values of enhanced video frames be preserved. The experimental results show that the proposed method can better improve the video frames without flicker effects than existing enhancement methods, and it can be applied to the image signal processing (ISP) chain for consumer electronic devices.
