In this paper, we propose an improved particle filter algorithm for real-time tracking a randomly moving target in dynamic environment with a moving monocular camera. For making the tracking task robustly and effectively, color histogram based target model is integrated into particle filter algorithm. Bhattacharyya distance is used to weight samples by calculating each sample's histogram with a specified target model and it makes the measurement matching and samples' weight updating more reasonable. In order to reduce sample depletion, the improved algorithm will be able to take the latest observation into account. The experimental results confirm that the method is effective even when the monocular camera is moving and the target object is partially occluded in a clutter background.

Vehicle scheduling plays a crucial role in public transport bus companies. An efficient schedule can help bus companies reduce operating costs while being an essential guide to daily operations. However, the precompiled schedule is usually hard to be adhered to in practice due to the diversity of traffic and driving conditions. Therefore, dynamic vehicle scheduling becomes an important supplement to the daily operations. In this paper, a dynamic vehicle scheduling approach based on Hierarchical Task Network(HTN) is proposed. In the approach, two dynamic vehicle scheduling strategies are devised according to the practical scheduling philosophy. The first is to reschedule for individual vehicle independently, the objective is to maximize the execution of the precompiled schedule. The second is to reschedule for multiple vehicles simultaneously, which aims to maintain the scheduled headways. The two strategies are achieved in the HTN planning through different task decomposition processes, which are constrained by vehicle resources currently available. To verify the feasibility, this approach is implemented based on the Simple Hierarchical Ordered Planner 2(SHOP2), which is a domainindependent and state-based forward HTN planner. Experimental results show that the approach has good adaptability to solve dynamic vehicle schedule problem, meanwhile, it can be helpful to deal with the abnormal services agilely and hence to increase the service quality of public transit.

Membrane proteins are an important kind of proteins embedded in the membranes of cells and play crucial roles in living organisms, such as ion channels,transporters, receptors. Because it is difficult to determinate the membrane protein's structure by wet-lab experiments,accurate and fast amino acid sequence-based computational methods are highly desired. In this paper, we report an online prediction tool called Mem Brain, whose input is the amino acid sequence. Mem Brain consists of specialized modules for predicting transmembrane helices, residue–residue contacts and relative accessible surface area of a-helical membrane proteins. Mem Brain achieves aprediction accuracy of 97.9% of ATMH, 87.1% of AP,3.2 ± 3.0 of N-score, 3.1 ± 2.8 of C-score. Mem BrainContact obtains 62%/64.1% prediction accuracy on training and independent dataset on top L/5 contact prediction,respectively. And Mem Brain-Rasa achieves Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.733 and its mean absolute error of13.593. Unlike in the 1D case, it is not always possible to find a minimal state-space realization for a 2D system except for some particular categories. The purpose of this paper is to explore a constructive approach to the minimal Roesser model realization problem for a class of 2D systems which does not belong to the clarified categories. As one of the main results, a constructive realization procedure is first proposed. Based on the proposed procedure, sufficient conditions and explicit construction for minimal realizations of the considered 2D systems are shown. In addition, possible variations and applications of the obtained results are discussed and illustrative examples are presented.
