Abstract In nonlinear filtering, special types of Gaussian mixture filters are a straightforward extension of Gaussian filters, where linearizing the system model is performed individually for each Gaussian component. In this paper, two novel types of linearization are combined with Gaussian mixture filters. The first linearization is called analytic stochastic linearization, where the linearization is performed analytically and exactly, i.e., without Taylor-series expansion or approximate sample-based density representation. In cases where a full analytical linearization is not possible, the second approach decomposes the nonlinear system into a set of nonlinear subsystems that are conditionally integrable in closed form. These approaches are more accurate than fully applying classical linearization.

Based on the current development of Model Driven Architecture (MDA) in Enterprise Information System (EIS), the paper proposes a DMDA, a new development architecture to improve EIS development speed and quality. The basic idea of the DMDA is to take advantage of formal description, decomposition and re-use on EIS development process to let computer understand development demands of developers and then consequently generate some business models having nothing to do with specific technical realization, combine with specific technical basic platform to finally generate the EIS meeting actual demands based on data model. The practice proves the architecture is capable of simplifying EIS development difficulty, expediting application and development speed, improve development quality and achieve the rapid development purpose.

In this paper, we propose a peripheral region enhancement method for geometrically compensated images from a fisheye lens. The proposed method provides a novel filtering method based on the degradation model of a fisheye lens. More specifically, we first present a space-variant image degradation model using generic Gaussian function with geometric distortion. We then apply the truncated constraint least squares (TCLS) filter for restoring the peripheral region of the image in the real-time, space-adaptive manner. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can enhance the peripheral region while keeping the high-quality center region.

For Gaussian Assumed Density Filtering based on moment matching, a framework for the efficient calculation of posterior moments is proposed that exploits the structure of the given nonlinear system. The key idea is a careful discretization of some dimensions of the state space only in order to decompose the system into a set of nonlinear subsystems that are conditionally integrable in closed form. This approach is more efficient than full discretization approaches. In addition, the new decomposition is far more general than known RaoBlackwellization approaches relying on conditionally linear subsystems. As a result, the new framework is applicable to a much larger class of nonlinear systems.

The event-triggered H_(infinity) control design is investigated for networked control systems with uncertainties and transmission delays. A novel event-triggering scheme is proposed, which has some advantages over traditional ones with a continuous detector. Considering the effect of the transmission delay, a delay system model for the analysis is firstly constructed. Then, based on the model and Lyapunov functional method, criteria for the stability with an H_(infinity) norm bound and criteria for the co-design of both the feedback gain and the trigger parameters are derived. In order to solve the feedback gain and the trigger parameters, the linear matrix inequality technique is employed. From the simulation example, it can be concluded that the proposed event-triggering scheme is superior to some other event-triggering schemes in some existing literature.
