In 2022, Indonesia initiated a pilot project to transition from liquid petroleum gas (LPG) stoves to induction stoves, targeting 8.2 million households by 2025. While LPG is considered a clean cooking fuel by the World Health Organization due to its low PM2.5 emissions, this program aims to further reduce CO2 emissions from cooking activities, aligning with Indonesia’s clean energy transition and 2060 Net Zero Emission goals. Throughout the program, doubts and criticisms arose among various sectors of society, particularly concerning the sustainability of this program. This research aims to determine and analyze the driving factors that support the sustainability of the induction stove transition program. Five sustainability aspects, namely, economic, social, environmental, technical, and institutional, were analyzed. A total of 315 Indonesian citizens participated as respondents in this research survey. The Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model (PLS–SEM) method was utilized as the analytical approach for the study. The results revealed that nine factors significantly influenced program sustainability, with the strongest impacts from technology costs (path coefficient = 0.859), contextual factors (0.803), electrical infrastructure (0.792), and community perception (0.773). Economic sustainability was driven by technology costs and business opportunities (0.643), while environmental sustainability was strongly influenced by electrical infrastructure. Post-installation support (0.307) and financial management (0.391) significantly impacted technical and institutional sustainability respectively. These empirical findings improve previous research on the sustainability of an energy transition program, which provides insights for researchers and stakeholders in the energy management field, especially in developing countries, for policy determination and decision-making. © 2025, Aalborg University Press. Aluminum production requires raw materials with fluctuating prices. The procurement of raw materials must be executed with the least possible cost, subject to demand fulfillment. Currently, the Indonesian aluminium producer aims to minimize procurement costs for the three primary raw materials: alumina, calcified petroleum cokes (CPC), and coal tar pitch (CTP) which are used to produce aluminum. This study conducted procurement planning by minimizing the purchasing value of the future price of raw materials, as well as ensuring the adequacy of raw materials to meet the needs of aluminium production. The product demand and raw materials price is obtained by time-series forecasting using the ARIMA method with predictors. The final results show the monthly procurement quantity for each raw material subject to the predicted demand. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2023.

Organizational resilience is about combination of operational and strategic resilience to sustain company's performance. In the time of turbulence like COVID-19 pandemic era, this resilience is extremely needed for any organizations not only to bounce back from its disruption but also ensures its sustained performance. However, knowledge related to this ability is still lacking and developing to cover especially factors needed to develop resilience for organization. Thus, this paper is proposing an organizational resilience model that covers what factors known so far. For this research, 100 organizations were invited for the research using questionnaires as its instrument. Among these invited organizations, only 47 organizations have given their responses at rate of 47%. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method using SmartPLS 3.0 was utilized for data processing. This confirms that organization should promote its resilience through operational dan strategic resilience to sustain its performance especially in times of turbulence especially during COVID-19 pandemic era. © 2022 IEEE.

SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference) model is a tool for diagnosing Supply Chain Management (SCM) that allows users to understand all processes in a business organization. This study aimed to analyze activities related to Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM), especially in the palm oil sector, and to determine the performance of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) at PT. Sutopo Lestari Jaya using the green score model. The results showed that the highest Green Objectives (GO) weight in environmentally friendly garden management was located on protected forest land used as plantation land by 38.82%, while waste minimization was found in Crude palm oil water content of 48%. Meanwhile, in minimizing and handling greenhouse gas emissions, the highest weight is found in the amount of fuel used in Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) shipments of 54.07%. For plantation management and palm oil management mills, the highest weight is in the percentage of water use per ton of FFB in PPKS 60.7%, while in waste management, the highest percentage lies in the standardized wastewater Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) of 38.8%. In maximizing the use of new and renewable energy, the highest weight lies in renewable energy per tonne of FFB and the use of solid waste (empty shells and shells) as a substitute for fossil fuels of 45.5% each. © 2022

Tourists must plan a schedule for seeing tourist sites when visiting a tourist destination. This is necessary since each tourist attraction has numerous alternative tourist destinations that might be visited. One of the districts in Indonesia that is a tourist destination is the Rembang district. Rembang district is visited by many domestic and foreign tourists and has many tourist points which include heritage tourism, nature tourism, special interest tourism (culture, agriculture, crafts), museums, and shopping tours. By having a variety of alternative tourist destinations, tourists need to make an itinerary or a travel plan. This principle can be solved by involving aspects of user experience, and direct observation from researchers on tourism objects. The purpose of this study is to design a recommendation for a user experience-based tourist itinerary using K-Means Clustering. 20 tourist destinations are used in this study. According to the study's findings, the clustering approach and the K-means algorithm can solve the problem of grouping the itinerary on the trip package. There are five types of tour packages. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the clustering method and the K-means algorithm can solve the problem of grouping the itinerary on the tour package. © 2022 IEEE.

Building-Integrated Photovoltaic(BIPV)on vertical façades is a potential PV application in today’s *** performance of BIPV on façades is significantly influenced by the façade *** tropical cities,the optimum façade orientation,in terms of maximum energy yield and daylight performance,cannot be simply determined,due to relatively symmetrical sun path throughout the *** study therefore aims to determine the optimum orientation for BIPV on tropical building faç*** achieve the objective,experiment,modelling,and computational simulation are conducted to evaluate the BIPV energy yield and to predict the indoor daylight performance in a scale-model building with a 105Wp monocrystalline silicon PV,facing each cardinal orienta-tion in Bandung,*** South orientation yields practically zero ASE_(1000,250),providing the best annual daylight performance,and yielding the most desirable value in four out of five daylight *** greatest annual energy yield is at the North orientation,providing 179-186 kWh(95%prediction interval)per year,but with larger uncertainty compared to that at the South,due to direct sunlight *** on three different objective functions,the South orientation is considered optimum for placing the BIPV panel on the prototype façade in the location.

Indonesia, as one of the largest coffee producers and exporters in the world, has experienced significant growth in the number of coffee shops, driven by increasing consumer demand for ready-to-drink coffee. This study aims to enhance sales performance at Authen Café and Space through the implementation of a menu bundling strategy. By utilizing data mining techniques and the Apriori algorithm, customer purchasing patterns were analyzed to identify optimal menu combinations. The data was collected directly at Authen Cafe during the period from April to August 2028. The analysis revealed that bundling strategies, such as combining Ayam Rica-Rica with Es Kopi Susu Karamel, are effective in increasing sales volume and product popularity among consumers. Furthermore, this study evaluated the impact of offering discounts on bundled packages on the café's profitability, demonstrating that this approach can boost net profit without sacrificing profit margins. This research provides significant insights into the application of data-driven marketing strategies within the café'industry and offers guidance for more effective managerial decision-making.

One of the problems causing low quality of essential oils is the high content of solvent resulting from traditional extraction process employing low purity metallic components. This extracted oil therefore requires further process to improve the patchouli alcohol content of the oil by removing unwanted components. One of the process is by mixing the oil with bentonite and zeolite. In this study, a sieve shaker is designed to be used at an integrated equipment for patchouli oil refining process. In order to have a dynamically stable shaker, it is necessary to investigate the effect of various components for the stability, particularly the spring stiffness. The simulation was conducted using Autodesk Inventor using a one degree of freedom model. It is shown from the result that, for the defined condition, the sieve shaker shown a stable condition for the spring stiffness value at least 10 kN/m. Spring stiffness lower than the value could cause detachment of the roll follower from the cam, resulting in impact between the components. © 2023, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Enhancing industry engagement in vocational education is a crucial strategy for refining the quality of graduates to meet the continuously evolving job market needs. This article conducts a systematic review of the existing literature to identify the challenges and opportunities in industry involvement in vocational education. Through in-depth analysis of various sources, the article reveals that the skill gap between the vocational education curriculum and industry needs remains a significant issue. This challenge is exacerbated by assessment and certification systems that often do not accurately reflect the actual competencies required by the industry. Furthermore, the article explores opportunities through internship and work placement programs that enable students to gain relevant experience, as well as strategic partnerships between educational institutions and industries to develop responsive curricula. The article also recommends enhancing the synergy between vocational education and industry through policies that support this integration, which will not only improve the quality of vocational education but also expand employment opportunities for graduates. This research indicates that more integrated and sustained cooperation between vocational education and the industrial sector is key to ensuring the relevance of education with the dynamics of the global job market.

This research explores the impact of blockchain-based financing strategies on the coffee supply chain, focusing on improving financial procedures, increasing transparency, and refining supply chain management methodologies. Implementing blockchain technology in the supply chain leads to a more efficient, secure, and collaborative financial system in the coffee industry. Our study categorizes existing research into four stages: summarization, synthesis, comparison, and critique. Findings indicate that blockchain integration can significantly address transparency, fair trade, and trust issues within coffee supply chains. This paper proposes modifications to existing models better to fit the unique requirements of coffee supply chain processes, highlighting areas for future research.
