In this paper, a new 4-D hyperchaotic system with one equilibrium point is first introduced. It contains ten terms with three quadratic nonlinearities. Of particular interest is that this novel system can generate periodic attractor, quasi-periodic attractor, four-scroll chaotic attractor and four-scroll hyperchaotic attractor with the variation of one of its parameters. Major dynamical properties of the new system are investigated such as sensitivity to the initial conditions, dissipativity, equilibrium point stability, Kaplan-Yorke dimension, Lyapunov exponents spectrum and bifurcation diagram. In addition, an equivalent electronic circuit schematic is implemented using Multisim software;the obtained results confirm the feasibility of the proposed system. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The occurrence of landslides in the hills of Walahir, Kidang Pananjung village, Cililin subdistrict. Bandung in May 2004 needed attention and research so that the causes of the landslide could be identified. This landslide took many lives and property, heaped around 5 hectares of rice fields and residents' villages below and claimed 15 lives. Based on geotechnical investigations, the slip plane is at a depth of 4 meters from the ground surface and the area of the landslide ranges from 30,000 m2 leaving weathered rock beneath. Is the opening of agricultural land and fields followed by the use of chemical fertilizers is one of the causes of landslides? This study aims to determine the effect of a single chemical fertilizer (Urea, Za, SP36) and compound (Green Giant NPK, MKP) on the soil under conditions of optimum water content and water saturation or soaked which are carried out at the Chemical Laboratory of the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of Bandung and Mechanics Laboratory Bandung Institute of Technology. Research on the influence of chemical fertilizers which is carried out using percentages of 1%, 2% and 3% with a relatively short ripening time intends to analyze the extent to which chemical fertilizers have an effect. Research is limited to the identification of minerals and chemical elements of original soil, soil physis properties, Atterberg boundaries, soil index properties, soil classification, soil elastic modulus. Hypothesis;The chemical content of fertilizers in the soil causes changes in soil characteristics. The method of taking original soil is by drilling original soil around the area where landslide disaster occurred at the same height as the height of the landslide slope, soil samples taken from depths of 1 meter and 3 meters from the surface of the land or the base layer between soil and rocks based on ASTM D-1452, 1587, 1586. Tourists must plan a schedule for seeing tourist sites when visiting a tourist destination. This is necessary since each tourist attraction has numerous alternative tourist destinations that might be visited. One of the districts in Indonesia that is a tourist destination is the Rembang district. Rembang district is visited by many domestic and foreign tourists and has many tourist points which include heritage tourism, nature tourism, special interest tourism (culture, agriculture, crafts), museums, and shopping tours. By having a variety of alternative tourist destinations, tourists need to make an itinerary or a travel plan. This principle can be solved by involving aspects of user experience, and direct observation from researchers on tourism objects. The purpose of this study is to design a recommendation for a user experience-based tourist itinerary using K-Means Clustering. 20 tourist destinations are used in this study. According to the study's findings, the clustering approach and the K-means algorithm can solve the problem of grouping the itinerary on the trip package. There are five types of tour packages. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the clustering method and the K-means algorithm can solve the problem of grouping the itinerary on the tour package.

Many megaprojects in the world fail. The complexity is considered as one of the causes of megaproject failure. However, the complexity concept in megaproject is still not been clear yet. This study is clarifying and providing an overview of how to overcome the complexity in megaproject context from the complexity theory perspective. The qualitative study approach based on literature exploration succeeds in expanding the complexity theory in organizational and project into the megaproject context. The complexity is a matter related to the relationship of activities, processes, and entities with varying levels of linearity and uncertainty. The megaproject complexity system consists of complicated, complex, chaotic, or even all three conditions occurred. In order to overcome the complexity, the megaproject management need be adjusted under its condition. © 2019 IEEE.

Generating hydrogen from renewable energy sources is widely recognized as an effective strategy for addressing critical challenges in the energy sector while contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. This study aims to assess the wind energy potential for electricity and hydrogen production in five locations on Sumba Island using 10 years (2011–2020) of data from the NASA's POWER Project. A wind variability assessment was performed on five wind turbines ranging from 500 kW to 1.5 MW and using electrolysis technology. The results indicated a hydrogen production potential of 25–57 tons per year. Economic analysis of hydrogen production for Haharu reveals an attractive internal rate of return (IRR) of 43% with a payback period (PBP) of 2.25 years and a net present value (NPV) of 1.3 MM USD, the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) of 0.0241 USD/kWh, and the levelized cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) of 1.01 USD/kg. Sensitivity analysis underscores the critical influence of investment and revenue on project profitability, highlighting their substantial impact on determining a project's success or failure. These findings emphasize the potential of Sumba Island as a hub for sustainable energy production to meet the growing demand for clean and renewable energy sources. © 2024 Hydrogen Energy Publications LLC

The continued role of the green management supply chain has become a parameter of the company’s sustainability. The role that is realized is to provide effectiveness in terms of reducing risks arising from the supply chain. Risks that arise deserve to be identified by the achievement of reducing supply chain risks that occur. The purpose of this study is to model the risks of green supply chain management using the house of risk method. This method as an integration of FMEA-QFD. The product used as a case is snail chips from PT. QRP. Due to the ineffective supply chain, various risks arise where this risk in addition to harming the company also harms the snail material supply vendors. Identification of risks by occurrence and risk agents totaling 22 types. The findings serve as a basis for constructing potential risks modeled with a causal diagram. It was found that the highest case parameter was that there was poor communication with long responses, one of which was. As a result of this case, the prevention action indicator can be clearly known with consideration of 6M (man, machine, material, measurement, method and mother nature). That the preventive action relationship with 6M can create a green supply chain design according to existing conditions. The virtues of the design formed are considering 6M supported by the role of ISO.

Indonesia has a high tendency of having landslides. Bogor is one of regency which is very prone to landslide disaster due to high rainfall. Landslides are a very dangerous threat to public safety. The preparedness can build disaster resilient communities that can support the national resilience. Sociodemographic characteristic and disaster experience are determining factors for the success of preparedness. The purpose of this research is to develop a model of the influence of sociodemographic characteristics and disaster experience toward household preparedness for facing landslide. This research is done in Cibadak Village, Sukamakmur Bogor. This research uses a quantitative approach with 100 sample of households. Multiple linear regression technique is used for analyzing the model. The results of the research showed that household preparedness is significantly influenced by sociodemographic characteristics which is education (p = 0.000), meanwhile age, income and the number of family member don't significantly influence. Beside that the household preparedness is also greatly influenced by disaster experience too (p = 0.000). Education influence on household preparedness for facing landslide as much as 38.81% and the disaster experience is 52.85%. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Molten salt has attracted the attention of researchers, especially as a coolant because of its characteristics. This study aimed to analyse the transient and steady-state of the natural circulation system in the molten salt loop with vertical heater and horizontal cooler using computational fluid dynamics. The computational fluid dynamics module in the COMSOL Multiphysics software was used to solve governing equations. Experimental data from several references were used as input data in modelling. The loop was modelled as a rectangular loop with Inconel 625 as the pipe material and molten salt (NaNO3+KNO3) as the working fluid. The variation of heater power was also carried out in modelling. The modelling results showed a good agreement with the experimental results. The results provided that the molten salt natural circulation loop with vertical heater and horizontal cooler showed good flow stability without reversal of flow direction. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The aim of this study is to obtain an essential oil from Allium cepa L. var. aggregatum by the extraction process using the microwave hydrodiffusion-gravity method. The operating parameters are drying pre-treatment, material size, microwave power, and extraction time. The optimal parameter conditions were determined by screening the data using a full factorial design and subsequently optimizing the process using a face-centered central composite design. The oil yield initially increases with the extraction period and then reaches a plateau, showing no further increase. The moisture content reduction resulting from drying methods has a direct impact on the production of essential oils, leading to increased yields. The results show that the highest yield achieved is 2.78 percent, which occurs for a duration of 75 minutes, a power level of 600 W, and a material size of 1 cm. In addition, the onion oil extract also contains cyclohexanol, 5-methyl-2-(1-methylethenyl) and Z-sitral. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The Faculty of engineering, Jenderal Sudirman University, now referred to as the Unsoed engineering Faculty, is one of the faculties at Jenderal Sudirman University. The Unsoed Faculty of engineering has not implemented the ISO 21001:2018 quality assurance system and uses the 2020 SN Dikti standard. The implementation of ISO 21001:2018-based risk management at the General Sudirman University Faculty of engineering is considered to be able to improve the operational performance of an organization. The increasing sources of risk from all aspects and the complexity of the risks that occur are the background for implementing risk identification. This study uses ISO 31000:2018 as a method for risk management. From the research that has been done, it is known that the SN Dikti 2020 still does not fulfill all the clauses of ISO 21001:2018. After identifying risks, there were 17 identified risks at the Unsoed engineering Faculty. The Unsoed engineering Faculty’s response to the identified risks is four avoided risks, six reduced risks, and seven accepted risks. Risk mitigation at the Unsoed engineering Faculty is carried out for stakes, with risk responses being avoided and reduced.
