Environmental awareness has recently emerged as one of the most crucial topics. As a result, various groups advocate for these technologies and research ways to promote their usage in various contexts. This study examines the factors influencing the intention and use of green technology among academics. This study integrates Price Value (PV) and Consideration of future consequence (CFC) to Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) as a theoretical basis. Two hundred five valid replies were gathered and processed through statistical analysis. The results of this study partly support the developed hypotheses. Four hypotheses developed from TPB have presented significant relationships. However, PV and CFC were not. The findings indicate that individuals in this study did not consider CFC or PV of green IT products as critical factors in their decision-making process. Findings also suggest that for implementation success, competent parties must consider the campaign to increase individual awareness and provide financial support regarding environmental policy. © 2023 IEEE.

Rukun Makmur is one of the SMEs in the fisheries sector that cultivates freshwater ornamental lobsters. In 2019, the sales of Rukun Makmur MSMEs increased. However, in 2020, Rukun Makmur MSMEs experienced the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic, resulting in a decline in sales. Therefore, this study aims to provide a proposed development strategy for MSMEs in Rukun Makmur. The analytical approach used is the tools in the form of CPM (Competitive Profile Matrix), BCG Matrix (Boston Consulting Group), Grand Strategy Matrix, and IE Matrix (Internal-External). As for the decision-making method, namely QSPM (The Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). The result of this research is that UMKM Rukun Makmur, compared to competitors, is in second place after UMKM C with a score of 3,013. Then, Rukun Makmur’s MSME market growth of -0.339 was in the medium position and the low position for its market share with a relative market share of 0.49. In addition, MSME Rukun Makmur is in the Hold and Maintain quadrant with a total IFE of 2,725 and an EFE of 2,482. The final result is a Development Strategy prioritized for Rukun Makmur SMEs: Market Penetration with TAS 6,587, Related Diversification with TAS 6,067, and Product Development with TAS 5,687.

This research is an approach to intelligent vehicles with a LoRa communication system, LoRaWAN compatible for Long-Range and Outdoor Communication, but in this paper, we will test the ability of LoRa to handle autonomous vehicles, a Blind-Adaptive Data method will be tried on vehicles systems. The system offered is when the vehicle is running, the sensor will send position data in real-time, the number of vehicles is four, and GPS data is sent alternately using the Blind Adaptive Data Rate principle to avoid data collisions, and when the GPS shows a certain position, the value of SF is ascertained, which affects the data rate and ToA, and the output given is RSSI on each car, speed of a car, power consumption of sensor nodes, signal power, SNR, Bit rate or data rate, and sensitivity. With the Blind ADR principle, it is ensured that there is no data collision between car position data that causes packet loss. © 2023 IEEE.

Cognitive dissonance analysis students choosing the higher education program in undergraduate program

Technological developments also affect the development of science. Universities, as one of the media that play an important role in science and discoveries, are also growing rapidly. The varied majors encourage students to be more selective in choosing them. This study examines the formation of cognitive dissonance in The Higher Education program in Undergraduate program students at the Higher Education program (HEP) Indonesia. The dimensions involved of cognitive dissonance were including emotional, wisdom of purchase, and concern over the deal. The emotional dimension is measured by 15-question indicators, the wisdom of purchase dimension is measured by 44-question indicators, and concern over the deal is measured by 3-question indicators. The research sample used 111 students of the 2017 and 2018 batches or third and fourth-year students of the HEP in Undergraduate Level. The analytical technique applied in this study uses factor analysis. The results of cognitive dissonance analysis using factor analysis on emotional variables showed that students were not upset to choose the intended undergraduate level of HEP in Indonesia, on the wisdom of purchase variable, it shows that students felt the need to choose the HEP in Undergraduate program. The concern over the deal variable showed that students did not feel confused in choosing the HEP in the Undergraduate Level.

The service center is one of the important activities in the After Sales Company. Most of the companies make a partnership with the Authorized Service Centers (ASC) to support their business. Performance evaluation to the ASC is the important activities to ensure that the company can satisfy their customer. This study aims to assess the ASCs that can meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) factor, which relate to the readiness, capability and skills from the ASCs. This study applies qualitative and qualitative method. The analysis of the problem indicators that affect the percentage of SLA use the Fault Tree Analysis method. The result finds that the problem of the Out SLA category is the availability of the spare parts, the estimated waiting time is 86400 minutes or equivalent to 60 days.

Since the growing trend of UAV-based delivery, some major logistic companies initiate to develop a UAV-based delivery service. UAV-based delivery needs to have a long flight range while maintaining the advantage of fly and land in narrow areas. Therefore, hybrid aircraft that combining fixed wing with multirotor configuration is commonly used. In this study, the airframe that is used for analysis is a quadrotor biplane-tailsitter with a wing-shaped fuselage configuration. To create a proper design, understanding the influence of the UAV's body with the air is essential. The purpose of this research comes from the idea that in biplane configuration, both wings affect each other and interacting with the wing-shaped fuselage. This research aims to evaluate the current wing gap configuration, compare the performance with different wing gaps, and investigate the flow patterns. In this paper, aerodynamic performance is analyzed in 4 wing gap variations, namely 2.5 chords, 3 chords, 4 chords, and 5 chords length with the wing chord as the reference value. The flight condition is 25 m/s and the angle of attack is varied from −10 to 26 degrees. The most optimum aerodynamic performance occurs in 4 chords length of the biplane wing gap.

The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on decreasing demand for beef. This condition affects the accumulation of beef stock, which impacts the return of beef products from retailers to distributors. This study aims to develop a model that can reduce risk and optimize costs resulting from returned products. Reverse logistics is a widely used method of handling returned products adding value to the product. In this study, reverse logistic activities are carried out by creating a mathematical model to maximize the product control function by creating a product inspection schedule and a product repair schedule. The formulations used PILP, and the formulations were tested using the LINGO 17.0 software. This study produces a robust model of the change in the amount and quantity of labor returned products and product quantity models with category R. From this study; it is also found the reasons why customers return the delivered meat, namely specifications, product quality, packaging, delivery process, and labor.

Motor speed control system for conveyor applications based on PLC-VSD with 3D visualization

The industry needs the ability of electrical engineers to program PLC-based industrial automation systems. Training this ability requires a simulator to visualize designs/plants in 3D and relate to real industrial contexts. To make teaching participants understand PLC-based control systems more accessible, we created a 3D visualization simulator for the induction motor speed control system as a conveyor drive. This article discusses designing and constructing an induction motor speed control system simulator as a conveyor drive. Conveyor visualization using factory IO software with real input from PLC is connected in a closed loop with VSD, induction motor, and encoder. This simulator teaches how to determine optimal Proportional and Integral (PI) controlling parameters and analysis of system response when there is a change in load on the conveyor. As a result, based on a series of tests, the 3D simulator of the closed-loop system for controlling the speed of the induction motor on the conveyor is functioning correctly. Optimal PI parameters are 20 and 12, respectively. The design responds to load changes to return to the setpoint condition average 11 seconds.

The aim of this paper is to compare the ability of two numerical models to simulate two-dimensional dam-break flows. Dam-break modelling is important in reducing the high-risk of dam failure by determining the water flow movement and its effect on buildings downstream. In this study, the Taylor Galerkin and Forward Time Central Space method is presented to simulate 2-D dam-break flow. The Hansen filter is applied to both methods to reduce numerical instability oscillations in the model. The filters were used for each time step at each computing point. The model is verified by comparing the result simulation with numerical results from previous studies. The result show that Taylor Galerkin numerical scheme with Hansen filter is successful to simulate the problem of 2-D dam-break. Also, the Taylor Galerkin model has better results than the FTCS model. Studies like this are needed for mitigation efforts in the event of dam failure. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This article reports the findings of one pretest-posttest design experiment with the control group and with GeoGebra software learning application to examine the mathematical understanding abilities and responses of students taking Geometry Transformation course. The subjects of this study were 24 students of mathematics education study program in Universitas Langlangbuana. The research instrument consisted of a mathematical comprehension ability test and a student response questionnaire. Based on data analysis using SPSS 2.0.0 and Microsoft Excel 2013, the study found that achievement and improvement in mathematical understanding skills and responses of students who received learning with GeoGebra software were better than achievement and improvement in student's ability who obtain conventional approach for the high, middle and low categories. The study also found a moderate relationship between mathematical understanding ability and student response. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
