The pandemic has brought many negative impacts on human life. One of the negative impacts is economic downturn of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) actors in Bangka Belitung Province. To solve this problem, a website-based marketplace platform called Yobagi was created. As we know, a new software product must have a good user experience. By having a good user experience means that the product has met the needs of its users. For this reason, an evaluation of the user experience is necessary. This study aims to measure the user experience of using Yobagi. The evaluation uses the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) tool, which consists of six scales: Attractiveness, Efficiency, Perspicuity, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. There were 40 respondents who were taken from the top of MSME actors. As the UX evaluation results, it is known that the final score of the six scales is above 0.8 and at the excellent level. This means that Yobagi users have a very good user experience in using Yobagi. In addition, Yobagi has met the criteria for good software by having an excellent user experience value.

Indonesia central government policy in managing national level energy plans must be succeeded by the government at the provincial level. Every province has to make its energy planning projection until 2050. This study aims to study the potential of biogas at provincial level. The method taken for this research is based on secondary data that refers to documents issued by the Department of Mines and Energy, data from the Department of Food Security and Livestock of North Sumatra Province as well as data from the Indonesia Statistic Bereau. These data are used as a basis for calculating the biogas energy potential of livestock. This research is limited to biogas particularly biogas from cow/buffalo for household hold energy necessity/cooking. The calculation results show that the biogas potential in 2050 is 1,178 TOE, meanwhile the projection data issued by the Department of Mines and Energy of the Province of North Sumatra in the first projection, namely business as usual (BAU) is 12 TOE and the second projection, namely the Regional Energy General Plan (RUED) is 55 TOE. Based on the result it can be recommended that biogas potential from livestock has to be utilised as much as possible for household energy necessity/cooking. It is reasonable because the result show the value reported by the Department of Mining and Energy BAU 12 TOE and RUED 55 TOE is far from the value resulted from this study where 1,178 TOE. © 2021 IEEE.

Digital image processing aims to improve the quality of an original image so that it can display an image that is relatively better than the original image, so as to obtain the detailed information needed for an analysis need. Quality degradation Biomedical images in computerization usually experience changes in brightness, blur, and contrast stretching. Because of the deterioration in the image quality, doctors and patients cannot obtain the information needed for analysis, therefore the need for biomedical image processing techniques with spatial domain methods to improve the quality and details of information in the image so that it helps doctors in diagnosing. Data analysis is biomedical images like X-ray images, CT-Scan (Computer Tomographic Scan) images, and USG (Ultrasound Graphic) images. A focused study on improving image quality can be done with digital spatial domain image processing techniques. Digital domain image processing is digital image processing based on the manipulation of pixel values in the image directly, in the form of point processing and mask processing. Process testing for each image for Blur level is CT-scan images with a value of 0.98436, ultrasound images with a value of 0.9875, X-ray images with a value of 0.9836. This value is blur level value get near to 1 which means the image becomes clearer. The analysis results prove that the spatial domain method can clarify the object image in this study. The biomedical image quality processing model is proven to be able to improve the quality of the image that is declining due to the digitization process and assist the user in analyzing the biomedical image. © 2021 IEEE.

Good air quality is very important in human health. However, air pollution has been polluted everywhere, whether in the house, in cities. This is caused by a growing industry that produces air pollution. Room air pollution and various cities will contribute to air pollution, which will cause problems for human health. This work measures the carbon monoxide level using the MQ-7 sensor and measures the air's carbon dioxide level with the CCS811 sensor and MH-Z19 sensor. All three sensors are connected to the NodeMCU ESPS266, and we call it a NodeMCU module. Tests are carried out in three rooms in the house, and then three NodeMCU modules are used so that the three modules will send data alternately. Raspberry Pi3 (RPi3) functions as a server that collects data and acquires information data from sensors. Data from the CCS811 (TCOV) sensor, MH-Z19 (co2), will be processed first with fuzzy logic rules to make decisions about CO2, which are right, moderate, nasty conditions. The process is carried out on the Raspberry Pi 3 server with MQTT using publication, customer, fuzzy logic, and broker services. The value of the sensor's measurement results can be accessed via a smartphone and provides good air control values. © 2021 IEEE.

Fabrication of PSf/P84-blended membranes with low P84 content: Characteristics and gas separation performance

The demand for efficient and sustainable gas separation technologies is ever-increasing in various industries, including petrochemicals, natural gas processing, and carbon capture. Polymer-based membranes offer a promising solution due to their potential for high selectivity and energy efficiency. However, achieving optimal gas separation performance often requires overcoming the limitations of individual polymers through modifications such as polymer blending. In this study, PSf/P84 blended membranes with low P84 content were fabricated using the phase separation technique with a mixture of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and tetrahydrofuran as solvents. The effect of varying the mass ratio of PSf to P84 on membrane characteristics and gas separation performance was investigated. Characterization techniques included FTIR, XRD, SEM, TGA, Water Contact Angle (WCA) measurement, and mechanical property testing. Gas permeation tests were conducted with single gases at room temperature and 1 bar pressure. The results revealed that the addition of P84 increased membrane thickness, Young's modulus, and thermal stability, while decreasing d-spacing, dense layer thickness, hydrophilicity, tensile strength, and elongation. The F_index values, indicating the competence of the blended membranes compared to the ideal quality, demonstrated the positive impact of P84 addition on gas separation performance compared to pure PSf membranes. The optimal gas separation selectivity was achieved with the PSf/P84 1:0.025 blended membrane for H₂/CH₄ (11.28, 58 % increase), H₂/CO₂ (6.25, 193 % increase), and H₂/N₂ (5.25, 35 % increase). The highest N₂/CH₄ selectivity (6.29, 253 % increase) was observed with the 1:0.10 composition. Regarding commercially relevant separations based on the 2008 Robeson curve, the PSf/P84 1:0.20 blend showed promise for H₂/CO₂ separation, while the 1:0.

Red Kupang (Musculista senhausia) is one of the fisheries resources included in the bivalve class. Red Kupang is commonly found in the waters of Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Pasuruan, and the coast of the Madura Strait. The nutritional components contained in red mussel meat include 75.48% water content, 1.93% ash content, 15.02% protein, 6.17% fat, and 1.41% carbohydrate. The nutrient content of red mussels that can be utilized is protein. So that red mussels can be used as an alternative source of animal protein. For this reason, this research is carried out namely isolation of proteins against red mussels. Isolation can be carried out by means of extraction, where the pH and time of extraction affect this process. The research began with washing and drying the red mussels at 40oC until a constant weight ( 6 hours) was obtained. The second stage is making red mussel flour with 60 mesh particle size. The third step is the isolation of red mussel protein by extraction process that is 50 grams of red mussel flour homogenized in aquadest with a ratio of 1:10 w / v, then extraction is carried out at an alkaline pH (pH: 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13). at a temperature of 40 oC using a hot plate stirrer for 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 minutes. The results obtained the best conditions at pH 11 and 50 minutes extraction time with a protein content of 72.70%. © 2021 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Aims this study to analyze rehabilitation exercises using sensor data embedded in smartphones is widely used to recognize human activities regularly to gain a better understanding of human behavior. However, it is rarely used to measure accelerators of patient movement in hospital wards. This paper proposes an optimized neural network-based feature extraction approach based on the Long Short Term Memory technique to recognize human activity using data from a tri-axial accelerometer. The activity to be measured is the Range of Motion for patient rehabilitation, and rehabilitation exercises are one of the most important steps for recovery. The results of the softmax regression trained on the dataset set have 1, 076, 105 records and 12 class attributes (class distribution). The experimental results on the SAR dataset show that our Long Short Term Memory-based approach is practical and successful, with an accuracy of 89.74%. © 2021 IEEE.

Artificial support material was examined to determine the removal capacity of organic pollutants and nutrients on laboratory scale using PFR system. The experiment was performed using artificial water with similar characteristics to Cikapayang River in three PFRs of 10.78 L. The PFRs were made of PVC pipes filled with an inert chemical substrate as an artificial support material. The process of pollutants removal in the PFR relies on a biological layer (biofilm) grown on the surface of the material support. Three type of C:N:P ratio used in this study were 30:15:1, 75:25:2, and 180:35:3. The results showed that the maximum removal efficiency of TSS, TN, TP, and COD in the preliminary tests were 85%, 87%, 71% and 79%, respectively. Moreover, the maximum water absorption capacity result was up to 30.8%. Organic substrate removal rate compared with first order and Strover-Kincannon substrate removal models prediction. The best fit model for this experiment was Stover-Kincannon model, with the average correlation coefficient up to 90% for all of the three reactors. SEM analysis shown that the microorganisms shape is coccus with the average size of 5 μm. © 2020 The Authors, published by EDP Sciences.

Increasing aquaculture cultivation produces large quantities of wastewater. If not handled properly, it can have negative impacts on the environment. Constructed wetlands (CWs) are one of the phytoremediation methods that can be applied to treat aquaculture effluent. This research was aimed at determining the performance of Cyperus rotundus in removing COD, BOD, TSS, turbidity, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate from the batch CW system. Treatment was carried out for 30 days with variations in the number of plants (10, 15, and 20) and variations in media height (10, 12, and 14 cm). The result showed that aquaculture effluent contains high levels of organic compounds and nutrients, and C. rotundus can grow and thrive in 100% of aquaculture effluent. Besides that, the use of C. rotundus in CWs with the effect of numbers of plants and media height showed performance of COD, BOD, TSS, turbidity, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate with 70, 79, 90, 96, 64, 82, 92, and 48% of removal efficacy, respectively. There was no negative impact observed on C. rotundus growth after exposure to aquaculture effluent, as indicated by the increase in wet weight, dry weight, and growth rate when compared to the control. Thus, adding aquaculture effluent to CWs planted with C. rotundus supports the growth and development of plants while also performing phytoremediation. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

Used cooking oil is the largest waste that can be converted into biofuel as a renewable alternative energy source with catalytic cracking process. In this study, used cooking oil was cracked using a Cr-Carbon catalyst. The charcoal was produced from solid waste (shell) of oil palm industry. Three different chromium concentrations (1, 2, and 3%) were used for the ion-exchange process of Cr-charcoal to produce the catalyst. These catalysts were used for the catalytic cracking of used cooking oil at three levels of temperature (450, 500, and 550°C). X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis were used for catalyst characterization. SEM-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) analysis indicates that Cr was successfully adsorbed into the catalyst. The highest oil fraction was obtained from catalytic cracking of used cooking oil at 450°C using Cr-charcoal catalyst synthesized using 1% Cr solution. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
