Filler serves as a filling for the voids between coarse aggregate and fine aggregate in the AC-WC mixture. The filler has a significant effect on the marshall characteristics of the AC-WC mixture even though it is only as a filler. This study aims to investigate the effect of fly ash, volcanic ash, rice husk ash on marshall characteristics. The research data obtained from secondary data based on previous researchers, (Pratama 2021) for fly ash filler, (Rezi 2021) for volcanic ash filler, (Malacca 2021) for rice husk ash filler. The data is in the form of variations in the percentage of filler (fly ash, rice husk and volcano ash) with the same asphalt content. The sample was processed for statistical testing using SPSS version 26 software to determine the effect of asphalt content and filler percentage on marshall characteristics. Optimum Asphalt Content (OAC) test results obtained 6.1% fly ash, 6.2% volcanic ash, 6.7% rice husk ash. The test results on Marshall showed the most influential filler in the 2% rice husk ash filler with density, stability, Marshall Quontient (MQ) and VMA values, while the Flow value obtained the highest value in 1% volcanic ash filler. For the VFB of fly ash and rice husk ash, there was a decrease in the value of the filler content of 2% and 2.5% and an increase in the filler content of 3%. The results of statistical tests using SPSS show that those that have a significant positive linear influence on the asphalt content and filler percentage are Stability and Marshall Quotient (MQ). A remote telescope system has been established at Universitas Nusa Cendana, Kupang. Bosscha Observatory, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), and the Physics study program at Universitas Nusa Cendana (Undana) collaborated to develop the system. The ITB-Undana Telescope system has a QSI 616 CCD camera and BV RI Bessel filter attached to a 20-cm (f/10) Schmidt-Cassegrain reflector. Several research and public outreach activities have been conducted using the ITB-Undana remote telescope throughout 2023. When establishing a new astronomical observation site, it is imperative to conduct sky characterization and quality assessment. This process involves measuring night sky brightness and atmospheric extinction coefficients. In May 2023, we observed photometric standard stars using the absolute photometry technique with BV RI Bessel filters. We also utilized the Sky Quality Meter (SQM) to measure night sky brightness over three nights from May 24th to May 26th, 2023, to compare the sky brightness values obtained through the absolute photometry method. Our initial measurement shows a first-order extinction coefficient value ranging from kb′ = 0.269 to 0.520, kv′ = 0.216 to 0.297, kr′ = 0.019 to 0.206, and ki′ = 0.127 to 0.163, for B, V, R, and I filter, respectively. Application of extinction coefficient value in the sky field gives a mean sky brightness value in V bandpass, Vsky = 19.431 ± 0.022, with color index (B - V )sky = 0.492 ± 0.039. These night sky brightness values are suitable for measurements using the SQM. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

A total of 37.5 million tons of palm empty fruit bunches(EFBs)produced in Indonesia in 2018 have the potential to be used as an alternative eco-friendly solid ***,a pretreatment process is necessary to increase the heating value and reduce the po-tassium content of *** methods can be employed to improve the characteristics of EFBs as a solid fuel,such as drying and torrefaction to increase the heating value and the leaching process for reducing the potassium content of *** main concept of increasing the heating value is to increase the fuel content,which is *** drying,the carbon ratio can be increased by reducing the moisture content and,through torrefaction,the carbon ratio could be increased due to the decomposition of ligno-cellulose.A simple way to reduce the potassium content of EFBs is the leaching *** types of leaching treatment have been studied before:soaking and stirring *** study reviews those methods to make EFBs more suitable as a solid fuel with a high heating value and less potassium *** the carbon content in EFBs is crucial for enhancing their heating value as a *** and torrefaction decrease the moisture content and modify the chemical structure,resulting in higher carbon *** leaching process effectively reduces the potassium content of EFBs and stirring treatment is more effective than immersion *** positively affects leaching by decreasing the potassium content,while hydrophobicity may hinder leaching by re-pelling *** high moisture content of leached EFBs requires additional energy for evaporation during torrefaction,resulting in a lower energy density yield compared with raw *** may also be required to account for the decreased mineral content,which functions as a torrefaction catalyst in EFBs that have not been leached.

The consumption profile of electrical energy always increases every year due to the highly consumptive and inappropriate lifestyles of modern society. A bad lifestyle such as forgetting to turn off the unused electronic devices when they are leaving home is one of the factors influenced the increasing consumption of electrical energy. This is off course contributing in wasting energy. In the paper, an IoT-based electronic device control system has been successfully constructed. Monitoring and control tasks could be performed remotely and in real time mode using an interface application installed on a smartphone. The system built is equipped with a device operational condition monitoring featured by placing light, temperature, thermal and current sensors, respectively. Through the utilization of the implemented system, users can monitor and control electronic devices easily and can figure out the condition of the device remotely in a real time mode. The control test on the system was successful with an average response time of approximately 3.32 seconds and the accuracy of sensor readings above 89%. With the implementation of this system, users can easily monitor and control electronic devices anywhere and anytime so that the opportunities for efficient and effective use of electrical energy could be further optimized. © 2022. Consumption is an essential aspect of daily life, and fulfilling customer needs requires efficient distribution of goods. Therefore, distributors are needed and they frequently set targets for their employees to achieve, and motivation plays a significant role in employee performance. An organization that distributes goods called CV Karya Prima motivates its employees by offering incentives. However, manual incentive calculation sets out problems such as a lack of progress tracking, irregular payout dates, and probable inaccuracies. This study aims to develop a web-based incentive calculation system using the analytical hierarchy process method and a database for data retrieval. The system utilizes PHP, CodeIgniter, and MySQL and adopts the SDLC prototyping method. The developed system is focused on the sales division and variables like total sales, effective calls, calls, and outlets. The web-based system is capable of solving the issues using the features that were built based on user needs and have already been tested through user acceptance testing. © 2023 IEEE.

The cofiring of biomass and coal may be one of the most effective methods to improve energy utilization efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas *** study aims to investigate combustion performance,interaction and synergistic effects in the cofiring of coal and three types of *** fuel consisting of coal and three types of biomass such as sawdust,rice husk and solid recovery fuel was selected as the research *** and proximate analysis and differential thermogravimetric analysis with heating rates of between 10°C and 40°C/minute are used to analyse combustion *** of combustion in a 600-MWe steam power plant with a Carolina-type boiler is also carried out with the help of computational fluid dynamic(CFD)analysis to see the effect of the interaction and synergy of the mixed fuel on the performance of the steam *** effect on the com-bustion process in the combustion chamber of a steam power plant is also *** on the analysis of several test results of parameters such as ignition temperature,burnout temperature,calorific value of the fuel mixtures as well as CFD simulation,the results of the study show a strong indication of a positive synergy in mixing some of these biomasses as compared with a fuel mix-ture consisting only of coal and one type of *** no power derating of the boiler occurs until the biomass content in the fuel mixture is~30%on a mass *** reduction in greenhouse gas emissions also appears significant from the results of the CFD simulation of this study,which is characterized by a decrease in the fraction of CO_(2) in flue gas from 21.5%for coal alone as fuel to 15.9%in the case of cofiring excluding the CO_(2) attributed to the biomass.

The allure of gaming often leads to excessive engagement, which can result in addictive and problematic behaviors, negatively impacting academic performance and school achievements. While gaming becomes increasingly prevalent, concerns about game addiction have grown, particularly among students. The excessive and obsessive usage of video games that characterizes game addiction can have detrimental effects like academic deterioration, social isolation, and mental health problems. This study seeks to elucidate the complex patterns of game addiction among digital-native students by utilizing advanced machine learning techniques. We employed Random Forest, SVM, Decision Tree, and Naïve Bayes algorithms to classify game addiction data from students. To address the class imbalance, we applied Borderline-SMOTE. Our results demonstrate that decision tree and random forest outperformed other machine learning approaches, achieving an accuracy of 95% in classifying game addiction. These findings contribute to the expanding body of knowledge on game addiction. Furthermore, in order to provide real-time monitoring and intervention for students who are at risk of developing a game addiction, future research may investigate incorporating these findings into educational platforms or applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Stunting in toddlers is a chronic nutritional issue that affects the physical and cognitive development of children, with serious long-term consequences such as reduced cognitive function and an increased risk of chronic diseases in adulthood. Therefore, early identification and prevention efforts for stunting are crucial. Classifying toddlers into categories of at-risk for stunting or not is essential to provide timely and appropriate interventions. This study employs data mining techniques using the decision tree algorithm to expedite the stunting detection process and improve the accuracy of nutritional status classification in children. The results indicate that the constructed decision tree model can classify children's nutritional status with an accuracy of 83.26%. The decision tree achieves high accuracy in classifying stunting in toddlers due to its ability to handle complex data and identify significant patterns within the data. © 2024 IEEE.

The electric power system must have a protection system with reliable electric power isolation, so that the supply of electrical energy works properly and optimally. There are several kinds of disturbances in the electric power distribution system, one of which is a partial discharge. This study aims to investigate the effect of plate-rod electrodes on partial discharge, partial discharge voltage limits in solid insulation, and the characteristics of partial discharge in electrode media, and waveforms in partial discharge detection sensors. After conducting research, it was found that in the plate-rod type electrode media, the PDIV voltage appeared earlier than the plate-plate electrode media due to the cross-sectional area of the electrode media. And the limit of the pre-discharge voltage of PCB type solid insulation on the plate-bar electrodes is at a voltage of 1.3 kV. Several indicators to determine the characteristics of the partial discharge are background noise off (BGN off), background noise on (BGN on), partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV), and partial discharge voltage. After being examined, the value of each partial discharge detection voltage was obtained at negative and positive polarity voltages on the electrode plates and plate needles respectively 2.85 kV, 2.95 kV and 1.32 kV, 1.57 kV. © 2023 Institute of Physics Publishing.
