Samosir Island is one of tourism destination in Indonesia and there was an increasing of coffee shop number. This research tries to investigate how much financial profit received by coffee shop if it use biogas as a new energy source. This research had been conducted from April to June 2018. Research parameter were production costs, income, revenue, Benefit Cost Ratio, Revenue Cost Ratio, Return On Investment, Break Even Point, and identify opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses by SWOT analysis to identify whether the community of Samosir is willing to use biogas. The results of financial analysis namely production cost IDR 1,964,500;income of IDR.4,360,000;revenue of IDR. 2,303,000;B/C (%) was 79.7;R/C (%) was 151;ROI (year) of 1.6;BEP Price was IDR. 5,302;BEP Production of 361 glass. By SWOT Analysis it was known that development strategies are taken place include socialize biogas technology, benefits of biogas on energy, fertilizer and soil quality to the community, benefits of biogas in saving fuel purchases and providing biogas stock devices on biogas group. The result showed that biogas was worthy of being used as a new energy source on the coffee shop business on Samosir Island. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Thin plate welding of Al 5083 alloy by GMAW applied for electric substations equipment

In order to fill the manufacture demand of electric substation equipment, materials with the characteristics of rust-resistant, lightweight and easy to find are required. Aluminum 5083 alloy is the best candidate to use because one of advantages is excellent thermal conductivity. Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) is used because it has high welding efficiency, it does not need to change welding wire frequently, can be used for all types of materials and welding positions, and does not produce scale or slag. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the GMAW welding parameters on the mechanical properties of Al 5083 alloy. The specimen of Al 5083 alloy is cut into V Groove with 30° or 60° angle each side, for 6 pieces with dimension of 300 mm length and 150 mm width, before welding process. The welding process is done using the manipulator machine with constant speed and various currents followed by mechanical testing. The mechanical testing results obtained, there is no significant difference on the tensile strength results of all specimens with different welding parameters. However, the elongation percentage result obtained, the highest strain is about 17% of the Al 5083 alloy thin plate specimen with 225 A current. It can be concluded that the Al 5083 alloy material through the GMAW process with appropriate has met the requirement of mechanical properties to be applied for the electric substation equipment.

Prospective area of Solok geothermal lies in step over transtensional between two segments, Suliti and Siulak, Sumatra faults. Geological structure in this prospect area shows structural pattern controlled by "oblique divergent strike-slip fault system" (releasing bend) as a proceed of embraced movement from Sumatra fault and establishes "dilation zone" between those two segments, forming negative flower structure in direction of NW-SE and N-S. The pattern of geological structure is predicted to control the availability of solok geothermal system which in this case related to presence of surface manifestation. Several studies have examined the connection between innovation, technology, and organizational culture in recent years. Management of technology and innovation is crucial to an organization's expansion and success. The development of an innovative organizational culture comes before technology and innovation management. This study's primary goal was to assess how organizational culture affects innovation in the Indian service sector. The study made use of a paradigm for understanding organisational culture created by Cameron and Quinn, which looks at culture as a collection of conflicting values from four angles. A descriptive survey research design was used in the investigation. Employees of service industries made up the study's population. More than twenty IT organizations participated in the survey, and 120 out of 180 respondents returned completed questionnaires. This indicated a response rate of 66%.The collected data was analyzed using inferential data analysis techniques and descriptive statistics. Tables and figures were created after analysis with IBM SPSS software. The results demonstrated that the strongest associations with innovation and technology were found in companies with flexible, collaborative, and employee-friendly cultures. Lastly, the study suggests areas for additional research, such as employing a new organizational culture model for the study or qualitative techniques for data collecting and analysis to reveal deeper cultural features.

Development of coronary heart disease diagnosis system based on facial imagery

The effort of the community in early checkups for coronary heart disease is still very lacking. That is due to the less awareness and cost constraints so that heart disease is handled too late which causes the heart condition to get worse and even complications. A diagnosis of coronary heart risk based on facial texture has been done lately by researchers in China and produces pretty good output, but no similar study has been found in Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to design several machine learning models and find out the performance of algorithms in diagnosing the risk of coronary heart disease with facial imagery. The research dataset was extracted using the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix on specific areas of the face. The areas taken are right crow’s feet, right canthus, bridge nose, forehead, left canthus and left crow’s feet. The main focus of this study was on the performance of the Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, and Neural Network models. Dataset processing procedures are divided into two, namely model making (training) and performance testing (testing). The findings showed that the best performing model was NN with an AUC score of 92.8%, followed by SVM with 85.6%, and the lowest was DT with 68% AUC. NN became the model with the best performance with 76.9% accuracy, 81.7% precision, 76.9% recall, and an F1 score of 77.5%.

This study examines the influence of low-rise structure orientations on tsunami-induced impact force. The particular focus is on low-rise structures since these often make up the majority of building stock in tsunami prone areas and are usually most vulnerable. The meshless method smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) is used for simulating the tsunami flow. Multiple cube structures named A, B and C were arranged at different angles of rotation and were situated on a flat shore. Four cases were simulated with variation on the number of structures and orientation toward the tsunami direction. Case 1 comprises a single structure (SS) C without rotation (R=0°) and used as the baseline, Case 2 contains multiple structures (MS) A, B and C without rotation (R=0°), Case 3 includes multiple structures (MS) A, B and C with 30° rotation (R=30°), and Case 4 consist of multiple structures (MS) A, B and C with 45° rotation (R=45°). The simulations show that for a 2-solitary wave train the front structures generated a flow focusing effect that accelerated the bore velocity. The orientation of the multiple structures to the direction of the oncoming tsunami bore significantly affected the magnitude of the applied force, where the most effective structure orientation is provided by the 45-degree rotation. The results of this study emphasize the potential for improving tsunami resilience through appropriate positioning of structures. Importantly, such large reductions in force may provide an economic solution to building resilience in developing countries prone to tsunamis. © 2020 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). A decision support system is a solution to help provide decision recommendations in determining which options to choose as a solution, in this decision support system research, namely analyzing and comparing the Matching Profile method and the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method in providing the best choice solution in the case of determining teaching staff acceptance. Determination of Admission, The selected teaching staff, are teaching staff who are in accordance with the criteria and quality. In an educational institution, namely TPQ Anbata, it is a very important issue to get elected teaching staff. One way to get teaching staff who is in accordance with the cafeteria is determined by selecting or determining prospective teaching staff by paying attention to various assessment criteria so that the selected teaching staff is feasible. From the tests that have been carried out, the results obtained include all test cases, and the testing is appropriate. The results of the system calculation accuracy test show that the calculation of Matching Profile and SAW (Simple Additive Weighting Method carried out by the system with manual calculations is correct and the feasibility test. Appropriate to use in making decisions determining the recruitment of teachers than the profile matching method in Anbata TPQ. The difference is in the highest value in each method. In the profile matching method, the highest value is Salman Al Fariz with a value of 4.70 while in the SAW method the highest value is Ali Gufron with a value of 8,778., it can be concluded that the most appropriate method in determining the recruitment of teaching staff at TPQ Anbata is the Profile Matching Method. © 2020 IEEE.

Coconut leaf is one of the most potential biomass to be converted into bio-oil through pyrolysis process and the availability in Indonesia is abundance. The mechanism of decomposition of coconut leaf into bio-oil productions requires further research because of the complexity of pyrolysis and differences in biomass composition. Therefore, the design, optimization and modeling of pyrolysis processes is strongly influenced by biomass characteristics. The purpose of this study was to find the characteristic differences in pyrolysis behavior of the three main parts of coconut leaf based on its constituent parts;leaflets, midrib and whole leaf. Moisture is removed by drying the sample in an electric oven at 110°C for 24 hours. Characteristics were tested using Cellulose Analysis, Ultimate Analysis, and Heat Value, whereas pyrolysis behavior used Thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA). The results show that leaflets, midrib and whole leaf exhibit different pyrolysis behavior. In terms of considering flow process of separation, the whole leaf becomes an option as a fuel for further pyrolysis processes. The maximum temperature that as a reference in the pyrolysis process of coconut leaves is 500°C with temperature rate of 20°C/min and the process lasts as long for 130 minutes. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Perovskite material is considered as one of next-generation solar cells that will have good potential to replace the current silicon-based solar cells. However, several disadvantages still limit the application of this materials due to the unstable phase, crystal defects during fabrication, toxic, and susceptible to cell degradation upon humidity and ultraviolet exposure. Several methods and engineering works have been made to overcome those disadvantages including doping, a technique which induces element(s) or compound(s) that could obtain better performance. One of the promising elements is cesium (Cs) that can be doped as a cation, compound or additive which would alter the interface between the electron-selective layer and the strain of perovskite structure. By having this element, the improved higher efficiency and operation stability can be significantly expected. This review article summarizes the efforts have been carried out by researchers working on Cesium doping on the perovskite solar cell towards high efficiency and operational stability. In has been found up to present that the best Cesium cation doping was able to bring up the improvement of efficiency up to 23,71%.

Using the Scopus database, this study aims to investigate the use of artificial intelligence for cancer detection in the last ten years from 2013 to 2022. The researchers used bibliometric analysis combined with VosViewer and Rstudio software quantification method for literature analysis. The results of the flushed articles show data such as publication year, journal, country, keywords, and authors, to the highest number of citations. Common keywords used by researchers are artificial intelligence, medical, and human. Researchers limited the findings through keywords such as in the last ten years, documents are journals, and English only so that 1868 articles were obtained. The results found that Harvard Medical School affiliation had the highest number of articles, with 101 articles, by subject area, Medicine had a proportion of 41.9% (n=1320). This bibliometric study will be useful for other researchers to examine the development of research on Artificial Intelligence for Cancer Detection in the last ten years.
